I was lying on the couch, staring at the ceiling, still slightly dizzy from explaining literally everything to Alice and Rosalie.
The shadows hummed faintly at my feet, like they were judging me for procrastinating with my legs crossed.
I sighed and spoke to the system.
"System," I said, voice tired but curious. "Hypothetical question."
[Hypothetical questions are allowed, user.]
"Good," I replied. "What would happen to the Twilight world while I'm gone?"
Silence. Then text:
[Time in Twilight will freeze. You, Alice, and Rosalie will remain unaffected.]
I blinked.
"…Wait, so literally everyone else will be stuck in frozen time?"
[Correct.]
I sat up suddenly. "…That's actually amazing."
Alice, lounging against my shoulder, tilted her head. "You're happy about this?"
"Yes," I said. "Because that means no one will notice if I take over the world while I'm gone. Figuratively speaking."
Rosalie, arms crossed but smiling faintly, shook her head. "You are a disaster."
"Disaster with style," I corrected. "…And rules. Mostly rules."
Alice giggled. "You have shadows. That counts as style."
I smirked. "Exactly."
So there we were. Three of us, perfectly happy, freezing the Twilight world in time. I imagined Edward standing mid-leap in a dramatic pose, face frozen in mild horror. Totally satisfying.
Departure
The next morning, I activated the system.
[Preparing multiversal travel.]
Shadows swirled, forming a vortex that smelled faintly like ozone and my personal brand of chaos.
Alice grabbed my hand. Rosalie leaned against me, shoulder brushing mine. Both were calm, which, given past events, was terrifyingly trusting.
I smirked at them. "Alright, ladies, hold onto your psychic hats."
The world shifted.
Arrival in the Harry Potter World
I opened my eyes.
…And blinked.
The sky was sharper. Blues, greens, and an ominous hint of magic electricity crackling somewhere in the distance.
The shadows around me stretched with curiosity, sensing new mana threads like a kid sniffing a candy store.
I called the system.
"System, scan world."
[Scanning…]
[World identified: Harry Potter Universe.]
[Year: Two years before Harry Potter attends Hogwarts.]
[Danger level: Moderate, magical anomalies detected.]
Alice leaned closer. "So… no Harry yet?"
"Correct," I replied. "Literally, everything is still calm. I can smell mischief in the distance, but nothing has exploded yet."
Rosalie raised an eyebrow. "You sound… excited."
"Because I am," I admitted. "Nothing exploded yet. That's a rare day for me."
System Update
The system chimed again.
[New function unlocked: Shop.]
[Shop points granted: 1,000,000.]
I blinked.
"…Wait. One million points?"
[Correct.]
Alice's eyes sparkled. "You could buy an entire castle."
"I could buy a planet," I muttered. "Or all the Harry Potter books in every universe simultaneously."
Rosalie pinched the bridge of her nose. "You are terrifying."
I shrugged innocently. "I prefer 'strategically powerful.'"
The shadows twitched happily. They liked the sound of shopping.
I called out: "System. Show shop."
The screen materialized midair. Hundreds of tabs. Weapons. Artifacts. Spells. Multiversal pets. Legendary broomsticks. Even a suspicious-looking invisibility cloak labeled "Probably safe."
Alice leaned over my shoulder. "We could literally live here forever."
"Tempting," I said, tapping a few buttons. "But rules. Mostly rules."
I paused and grinned at them. "Also… unlimited chocolate frogs. Priorities, people."
Rosalie groaned. "You are ridiculous."
"Thank you," I said politely. "I try."
Conclusion
We stood together, shadows swirling at our feet, holding hands or shoulders or whatever counted as personal space in a magical multiverse.
Twilight world: frozen.
Harry Potter world: unexplored.
Me: smiling.
Alice: grinning.
Rosalie: reluctantly amused.
"Shop points, shadows, multiverse travel," I muttered. "Yup. About time that happens."
The portal shimmered behind us. Adventure awaited. Chaos inevitable. Coffee optional.
I stretched dramatically. "Let's go make some magical mistakes."
