Llana came back to the company after meeting her brothers. She and the other majors will meet at the practice room at 9 am. It's still 8:35, so she still has plenty of time.
Llana pushed open the door to the dance practice room, expecting to hear the usual loud conversation. Instead, the room was quiet, save for the low murmur of voices coming from the corner. There, she spotted Sana and Chaeryeong sitting together, engrossed in conversation.
As soon as they noticed her, Sana's face lit up, and she waved enthusiastically. "Llana! You're here!"
Chaeryeong smiled warmly and gave a shy wave, " hello Llana-unnie."
"Hey, you two," Llana greeted, walking over with a smile waving her free hand as her Left hand is holding a milk tea.
Sana's eyes sparkled seeing the cup in Llana's hand. "Hey, what are you holding?"
Llana looks at her cup, which she is holding, and raises it a little, "Salted caramel Milktea, do you want to sip?"
"May I?" Sana leaned forward a little while her hands on her back intertwined, giving Llana a cute and hopeful look.
Llana blinked, a bit taken aback by Sana's cuteness. "Sure, if you want," she said, handing the cup over.
She turned to Chaeryeong, offering as well. "What about you, Chaeryeong? Want a sip?"
Chaeryeong shook her head, a faint blush rising to her cheeks. "N-no, thanks. I'm fine," she mumbled, glancing away shyly. She really wants to have a sip too but she's just to shy to her and she has a strict diet.
Sana, on the other hand, didn't hesitate. She took the cup from Llana and took a generous sip, her eyes lighting up as the flavor hit her taste buds.
"Wow, this is really good!"
Llana laughed softly. "You can have it if you want. I already drank one at the café earlier anyway."
"Really?!" Sana asked, her eyes sparkling even more. She hugged Llana excitedly. "Thank you, Llana hehehe."
Llana laughed, feeling a little embarrassed. "It's nothing, unnie."
"Are you sure you don't want some, Chaeryeong?" Sana asked, noticing the way Chaeryeong was staring at the milk tea longingly.
"Uh… I want to aswell, b-but unnie...we're prohibited from consuming too much sugar."
"Oh no, I forgot!" Sana gasped in horror.
"Oh, you're dead, unnie. We're being recorded," Chaeryeong said calmly, the amusement in her eyes unmistakable.
"Llana, what should I do?" Sana fidgeted nervously as she noticed the cameras.
"Ugh, sorry, unnie." Llana smiled apologetically, her expression clearly saying, you're on your own.
"Yah! Traitor. You clearly gave it to me, you also drank one. The two of us are in this together!"
"Oh, I'm sorry for breaking your hopes, unnie," Llana said with a wide smile. "But I'm not prohibited like you guys. I don't get fat easily."
Sana shot her a betrayed look. She was so done. She nervously glanced at the cameras recording them, then at the milk tea in her hand.
After a brief pause, Sana took another sip.
Oh well...
she'd just work out harder later.
As Llana, Sana, and Chaeryeong are chatting waiting for the others, the door to the practice room swung open, and the rest of the group finally arrived. Jihyo, Chaeyoung, Dahyun, Somi, and Natty filed in, chatting about the upcoming photoshoot.
"I'm so nervous. Honestly, I always feel awkward posing in front of the camera," Chaeryeong said nervously.
The others nodded in agreement
They felt the same way.
"You just need to act natural," Somi said. She didn't feel nervous like the others. She knew how to pose naturally and find angles that suited her, having used taking photos with her father since she was young.
"Let's pretend I'm the photographer, Then" Llana step forward, raising her hand making camera gestures.
"Okay!" Dahyun said enthusiastically as she stood up. The others stood up play along and started posing.
Llana watched them all with a thoughtful expression, noticing the awkwardness in their movements and the uncertainty in their eyes.
She'd been through countless family photoshoots over the years...well, technically the former Llana. But since their memories had blended together, it all felt like her own. She knew how important it was to feel confident and relaxed in front of the camera.
Seeing her some of them struggle, she decided to help a little.
"You guys are way too tense. Relax a bit," she said casually. "Posing looks easy, but it's actually harder than it seems."
Llana smiled, "Alright, let's start with some basics. The key is to stay relaxed and natural. You don't have to force anything, just let your body move in a way that feels comfortable.
And don't forget to express with your eyes; they can really bring a pose to life."
She demonstrated a few poses, showing them how to angle their bodies and position their hands. The others followed her lead.
Somi who also has experience also help alongside Llana moving from person to person, offering tips and adjustments. "Natty, try turning your shoulder a bit more it'll give you a stronger silhouette. Jihyo-unnie. soften your expression just a little."
" And also don't forget our concept is bright, you need to put up brighter expressions..." Llana but in.
"Dahyun unnie, don't act too much, your experience is too bright, you are overpowering others! Ease up a little." Llana said sternly.
"Chaeryeong, your expression is so nervous..."
"Jihyo unnie why are you hiding your body? Change to a different angle. Be more confident"
By the time they finished, everyone couldn't help but slump to the floor. They feel more tired from making poses than practicing dance. Llana is so serious and scary when teaching them. They never thought that photoshooting was that hard. It looks easy in the picture they see.
They were very grateful to Llana and Somi for helping them.
"The photoshoot is tomorrow," Jihyo said, giving them all an encouraging smile. "Let's do our best together and stay in the major group until the end."
She really knows how to lead, Llana thought, watching Jihyo speak. She was practically born to be a leader, guiding everyone so effortlessly.
"Fighting!"
"Fighting!" everyone shouted in unison.
