"I'm fucked." I gasped as I stared down at the symbol.
It was almost as if the eye was staring back at me, and I could feel a chill run down my spine.
'WYATT. ZOROS. GRETA. AZATOTH. GREAM'
I muttered the names that the journal had listed in my mind as I narrowed my eyes.
There were some suspicions in my heart… many suspicions, in fact.
'Was my predecessor responsible for my transmigration?'
This was my inclination, my guess, but why did I feel like it was the truth?
He mentioned getting a treasure to change his fate…
And he also mentioned that if he managed to get the second chance, he could laugh and look down at the world.
That was practically possible with the system…
I gasped as I made faint guesses in my heart.
Still, another question gnawed at me.
How had my predecessor gotten the treasure?
And the creatures he mentioned. They seemed terrifying, even being able to control him from a distance…
How exactly had he been able to gain the treasure?
There was no memory of it in my mind. Almost as if it had been wiped by someone.
'Him?'
No, that couldn't be possible, because he was never a cursed warrior.
In my memories, there was no mention of him training to become a cursed warrior.
Elizabeth never allowed him, and there was nothing like that in my memories.
"My memories… my memories…" my eyes widened as I whispered subconsciously, my heart growing colder.
Sure, they were now my memories… but they weren't my memories before.
What if I was only seeing what my predecessor wanted me to see?
"What?" I felt a wave of terror shake my heart.
If that was the case, then it perfectly made sense that he'd become a cursed warrior and was able to tread many dangerous places…
'Then how strong was he?' I whispered internally.
And if he was that strong and still died, then how strong were my newfound enemies?
I felt my heart tighten, and for the first time, fear gripped my chest.
'Damnation.' I cursed internally, feeling a headache.
I massaged my temple, feeling a wave of anger filling my heart.
"No! I can survive this… I just need time… and more partners!" I consoled myself, my eyes filled with unshakable resolve.
These were just trifling issues on my path to dominate the world.
I laughed… and laughed again.
"Gods huh? It's only a matter of time before I slaughter them like chickens and trample them under my feet like ants!" My laugh seemed to cool off the tension I was feeling, and the worry that had settled in my chest seemed to have vanished.
I smiled faintly and then pulled up my system.

I looked through the blue holographic screen in front of me and was briefly startled when I saw the second line of words.
'What the hell are these titles? And why are some of them blurred?'
'Did it have to do with my predecessor? Or am I also special in some way?' I muttered internally.
Shaking my head and unable to arrive at an answer, I read through the remaining information.
I was pleased by my cursed rank, and as my gaze drifted down, I raised my brows.
'I've gotten 40 ero points? When?' I was startled and felt bewildered by the whole situation.
Adding up everything that had happened up till now, my eyes finally lit up.
'Could that be it?' I muttered internally as I made a guess in my heart.
If my guess wasn't wrong, then ero points could be gotten when I had intimate sessions with my woman.
'Would I be able to obtain ero points from other people?'
As I'd never studied it, I didn't know the answer to this question.
That aside, finally knowing how to gain ero points was a good thing.
"After obtaining 450 more, I'd be able to bond the next partner. Probably Rosaline, or perhaps someone else?"
I mouthed and shook my head as my eyes drifted further downward, towards Lydia's affection for me.
"It's still so low?" I raised a brow in confusion and puzzlement.
What was going through her mind? And why was her affection for me so low??
I frowned subtly, unable to piece things together.
"She'll come around." I voiced and then shook my head, trying to appease myself with some words of encouragement.
'At least now I'd receive 3x returns from her.' The thought alone made me pleased.
'Still, if I could add a couple more percent, increasing it to 4x wouldn't be so bad.'
After deciding on my next course of action, I stood up and decided to head to the royal library.
Hopefully, I'd gain some insight into who the people my predecessor mentioned were.
I took the journal and slid it into my clothes.
After dressing up and glancing at my reflection in the mirror, I smiled confidently at my handsome self.
"No one's going to kill you. All of them would, in the end, become your stepping stones!"
Nodding, I straightened my back like a long spear and walked out.
Along the way to the library, which was located at the west wing of the clan, I was greeted by the guards.
And this time, they weren't just greeting me out of respect for my status, but for my newfound strength as well.
According to rumors, my talent was greater than that of my sister.
Many of them didn't know how true that was, but they knew such words couldn't be taken lightly.
Ignoring them, I calmly walked at an even pace towards the west wing.
It seemed my cousins were out. Around this time, they'd usually have come seeking my predec—
"Watch out!" a loud voice exclaimed as I heard a whooshing sound.
My body seemed to move on its own as I smoothly dodged to the left side.
A whistling sound echoed in the air as a long spear pierced through my right side, just missing me by a few inches.
My eyes sharpened instantly as they shifted in that direction.
"Are you blind, cousin? How could you enter my training range blindly?"
I noticed three people approaching, and immediately, my eyes darkened.
