Jason was badly injured, with multiple sword scars throughout his body.
Just when he felt like giving up, something strange finally happened.
The armored soldier, who had raised its sword high, about to deliver another deadly attack toward Jason, brought it down.
Dumbfounded, Jason couldn't help but look up, staring in disbelief as though he couldn't understand the sudden turn of events. Even he had expected to die.
"What's this?" the beast growled, a ferocious expression appearing on its face. "Are they being unfair because he's a human?" A vein popped on his head.
"I… can go?" Jason muttered under his breath. Blood seeped from his mouth, a testament to how badly he had been injured during the seven minutes of attack from the cursed monster.
"No, that's not it…" He frowned slightly, trying to understand the armored soldier's motive.
Still, knowing that waiting would only lead to his death, he tossed the glove back to the armored soldier and rapidly retreated.
