Chapter 75 - Chapter 75 Today I Shall Set Sail

Orion repaired the table in the blink of an eye right in front of Noelle, which made Noelle's eyes shine even brighter.

Noelle hadn't broken anything for several years; precisely, she had only committed such a basic mistake when she first became a maid.

And Senior Orion not only possessed greater strength than her but could also instantly remedy the fault she committed, and even improve upon it! At least before she broke this table, It wasn't a table made of Dark Adamant

Oh goodness, greater strength, stronger adaptability, superior service ability—what kind of maid was she compared to Mr. Orion?

No, it should be said that Mr. Orion was the Maid of Maids, the Strongest Maid, the Maid King!

So that was it! When she went to ask Acting Grand Master Jean if she could follow Mr. Orion to cultivate the Maid's Way, Acting Grand Master Jean had asked: "Ah? Why the Maid's Way? Not the Knight's Way?" It turned out the meaning of that sentence was that by following the Maid King to learn, she would naturally be a subordinate of the Maid King—a Maid Knight!

So the righteous path to becoming a Knight, which she had always longed for, lay here! Thank you, Acting Grand Master Jean!

Noelle ran her hand over the table made of Dark Adamant, took a deep breath, and then elegantly performed a Western-style courtesy toward Orion: "Please allow me to stay by your side and learn the true Maid's Way from now on. Please feel free to spur me on, Senior."

Although Orion didn't know what had been going through Noelle's mind, seeing that she was no longer upset about breaking the table, he smiled calmly and then said, "Why don't we go see the place where you'll be working?"

Orion removed Noelle's maid headpiece, then fashioned the access pass into a maid headpiece adorned with a golden rose and placed it back on Noelle. Afterward, everyone went together to the Miliastra Wonderland hall.

Noelle only showed a moment of surprise before returning to a state of serious listening. Orion introduced her to everyone's rooms. Her task was to clean everyone's rooms every morning after they woke up, then appropriately sweep the main residence, and prune the flowers and trees surrounding the hall.

Noelle diligently recorded every task, but still expressed some concern: "Master, it's not that I'm unwilling to work hard, but the area of this main residence is truly vast, and there are many rooms, mostly bedrooms. Furthermore, if the task involves not just cleaning the main residence but also maintaining the landscaping, then finishing it all in one day is clearly insufficient. May I schedule the cleaning cycle for projects other than tidying the bedrooms myself?"

Noelle's idea was very practical because many steps in the actual cleaning process inherently took time. For example, the time required for water to air dry, the time to clean dust in tiny corners, and so on. In some areas, Noelle could rely on her sheer strength to quickly finish the job, but some tasks couldn't rely on brute force. Too much force while sweeping would only send dust flying everywhere—a very simple principle.

However, Orion's words exceeded her imagination: "Don't worry, the time inside here differs from the outside by thirty times. That is to say, one morning and one evening outside is actually one month inside here. Time is more than plentiful. Moreover, the growth cycles of the flowers and trees inside here are also different. If necessary, I can even control their growth cycles, so just feel free to implement your plans."

Orion then introduced her to the other functions of the Miliastra Wonderland, leaving the little maid completely stunned.

After exiting the Miliastra Wonderland, Orion said, "That's it for today. Noelle, go home and pack up. We will be leaving tomorrow or the day after. You don't necessarily have to stay in the Miliastra Wonderland; you can use this pass to return to your home in Mondstadt anytime, or you can travel with us."

"I am willing to follow you on your journey!" Noelle replied resolutely, her eyes as determined as if she were joining a political party.

She was a very good maid. Orion decided he would make things like vacuum cleaners for Noelle to use later. Once she became familiar with the room layout, he could also consider giving her management over cleaning robots and gardening robots, and she could simply serve as the Head Maid, with her main duty being cleaning the bedrooms.

Lumine didn't plan to tell everyone individually that she was leaving. She felt it was unnecessary; holding a farewell party or something similar would only needlessly increase the sadness.

But Orion still had many things to do. He needed to tell every woman that he was leaving, and also tell them that future dates would take place inside the Miliastra Wonderland. That way, they could battle until the edges of the universe inside, and barely any time would pass outside.

He also needed to visit Yae Publishing House once. He didn't want to teleport back to Mondstadt every time he submitted a manuscript, so he handed over manuscripts for a very long period to Yae Publishing House, letting them decide which magazine issue to print them in.

"Have you considered releasing a standalone volume? We plan to produce a collected edition for you and invite some artists to draw illustrations!" The editor uncle asked enthusiastically after Orion handed over the manuscript paper.

Orion thought for a moment and replied, "Not yet, I mean the illustrators. I want to find an illustrator myself. That way, through direct communication, the other party should be able to understand what I mean and draw the effect I want."

The editor nodded: "Understood, but we still hope you can find an artist quickly. To be honest, Lady Yae at the headquarters is very invested in your work, and she hopes you can publish a standalone volume as soon as possible."

Yae, is that Miko?

Orion nodded and left the bookstore.

His idea was actually very simple. Every time he had pulled from the gacha—from Clara and Yunli to the Sanzomon and Greater Lord Rukkhadevata—every single one of them was a barefoot character. Even if he might pull non-barefoot XP characters in the future, currently, the probability of drawing barefoot characters was higher. So, which MiHoYo character among the barefoot ones was capable of drawing and had the highest pull probability?

Of course, it was Griseo!

He would see if he could pull Griseo before reaching Liyue. If he couldn't, then he would just let Yae Publishing House find an artist for him

Two days later, Orion and his group didn't avoid people, nor did they specifically notify anyone; they simply walked out of Mondstadt City in a large group.

"Oh, Miss Sara! Oh, no, I won't be buying anything today, we're heading out for a trip. Hahaha! Yes, going out together."

"Miss Marjorie, huh? Did you notice? Yes, going to Liyue. We'll be back, we'll be back! We'll return for the next festival."

"Timmie! Why aren't you feeding the pigeons today? I'll give you some mealworms. Say hello to Sister Grace for me when you go back."

"Miss Katheryne, see you in Liyue!"

"Wagner, old man! Hey! I gave you that medicine for your ears, use it. Don't wait until you're old and can't hear anyone speak. Damn, you're stubborn, you'll regret it."

"We're leaving, Lawrence. Go back and tell your dad, maybe change your name. We're off! Goodbye!"

"Have they left?" Jean asked from the ramparts near the headquarters of the Knights of Favonius.

Lisa chuckled behind her hand: "They should have just left Mondstadt City, right?"

"Hmph! What is there to see? It's not like we won't see them again. If you miss him, just go wait for him in the Miliastra Wonderland." Eula snorted, glanced into the distance one last time, and turned away.

Jean and Lisa exchanged glances: "Aren't you going to see Lumine and the others off?"

"No need." Eula didn't look back: "Amber went."

"Oh, I'm so tired." Xiangling walked listlessly. Her face was pale, and she had heavy dark circles under her eyes.

Clara handed her a refreshing drink, while Yunli muttered disdainfully, "You wouldn't be like this if you just slept a little more at night."

Noelle also worried: "Miss Xiangling, should I carry you?"

"Haha, no need, right?" Xiangling thought it was a bit embarrassing and refused.

At the front of the group, Lumine, Paimon, Orion, and Skirk were walking together.

"How is it?" Orion suddenly asked Skirk. Skirk didn't understand and gave him a questioning look.

"I mean the trip, or rather, traveling with us," Orion said, gesturing toward Paimon and Lumine.

Skirk glanced at the three smiling people, said nothing, and continued walking forward.

Lumine and Paimon exchanged glances and shrugged.

Just then, a tiny voice drifted into their ears: "It's not bad."

Lumine and Paimon's expressions instantly became priceless, and Orion couldn't help but snicker. Only Skirk remained expressionless, unless the slight flush on his ear tips counted.

Just then, a red figure suddenly leaped down from the cliff. Orion's eyes narrowed, and he immediately stepped up two paces and caught the person in a Princess Carry. Everyone looked closely.

"Why did you run here?" Orion asked in surprise.

"Hehe~" Amber, in his arms, showed a healthy grin and made a V sign with both hands: "Let me, the Tea Knight of Mondstadt City, send you off~"
