Chapter 3 - Aito's first outing

Aito Greymont was already learning swordsmanship every day with his master Zekin, alongside Calithia.

While controlling his mana and bonding more with his natural element, which was Wind.

He did this at dusk.

And at night, while they read him stories of powerful mages, he grew excited.

Because he loved these stories.

And this awakened even more curiosity in him about mages.

Once his mother finished reading these stories to him, she would give him a goodnight kiss on the forehead as she left the room.

As dawn arrived, the morning sun shone brightly, penetrating every corner of the Palace.

Aito was already awake, but today he had no swordsmanship training.

So he immediately headed to where his mother was.

"Good morning, Mother," Aito said to her.

"Hello, good morning. How are you, son?" she replied.

"Mother, today I want to go for a walk in the city.

""Eh... you want to go for a walk today?

""Yes, Mother," Aito replied.

"I want to see the city.

""Well, in that case, I'll send a maid with you and some guards to watch over you closely.

""That's fine, Mother.

"(And so Aito left the Palace)

Upon arriving in the city, Aito couldn't stop looking at everything around him.

He was very happy to have gone out and discovered new things.

The scenery was beautiful; he saw different kinds of houses, nothing like the Palace.

While observing all sorts of people.

"Oh, look, it's a mage!" Aito shouted.

"Wow, that's amazing.

Look how he does tricks with water magic," said a passing child.

"Hey, you're really good at water magic tricks," Aito said, approaching the child.

"Th... thanks," the child replied.

"Hey, son, don't talk to him.

Can't you see his clothes? He even has a maid.

""We're not on his level," the mother told her son.

"He must be a noble's son," one whispered to another.

Unaware of what was happening, Aito looked at the maid and asked if he had done something wrong.

"No, young master," the maid replied.

They continued on their way.

Aito was very happy because he had experienced many things that day.

(Moments earlier)

"Whatttt? Aito went for a walk?" Calithia said in surprise, as she had been asking about him.

"And why didn't anyone tell me? I wanted to go too.

""Don't be angry.

They'll be back soon; you can play later," the queen replied.

(On the other side)

"Young master, I think it's time to head back," the maid said.

"We're going back already? I wanted to stay a little longer.

It's not fair," Aito replied, dissatisfied.

"Let's hurry, young master.

""Okay, let's go," Aito replied sadly.

"Don't be sad, young master. You'll be able to go out more when you grow up."

"Yes, that's true. I'll be able to go out more when I grow up, hahaha.

"Aito's mood quickly improved after hearing those words.

(Back at the Palace)

"Mother, big sister, I'm home," Aito greeted them.

"Oh, welcome back, son. How was it?" the queen asked.

"It was grea—

""Hey, Aito, naughty little brother. How dare you go out without me?" Calithia asked.

"I didn't see you, big sister.

""And that cheap excuse? You couldn't come look for me?

""Don't be with your little brother, dear," the queen said.

"Then, sister, what do I have to do for you to forgive me?" Aito asked Calithia.

"Well, in that case, you have to...

""Hello, Aito. You finally arrived.""Yes, brother Eliel.

""Hey, why are you looking at me like that, little sister?" Eliel asked Calithia.

"And you dare ask me why I'm looking at you like that.

"Eliel had no idea that he had interrupted Calithia just as she was about to ask Aito for something as an apology.
