Bella's POV
Helena yanked me behind her with frantic urgency, her voice shaking as she begged, "Princess, this situation isn't clear yet. How can you condemn Bella so quickly?"
Even with Helena's position, the Sinclair family had lost their power long ago.
Diana barely bothered to notice her.
Watching Helena shield me so desperately, Diana's eyes burned with hatred.
But after a brief pause, she forced down that wave of fury.
Diana spoke with ice in her voice, "Mrs. Sinclair, only Bella and Tristan were there. With Tristan dead, there's no way Bella can prove her innocence."
Diana's sudden politeness toward Helena caught everyone off guard.
Something felt wrong to me.
Before I could figure out what was happening, Diana snapped coldly, "Sentinels, escort Bella to the Central Office!"
Two imperial guards burst through the door immediately, grabbing me to haul me away.
