I didn't even think when I saw their faces, I just acted. They were both still standing there, sweets in hand, looking at me like I had just confessed to rewriting reality itself. Too quiet, and too intense. The kind of silence that always turns into brooding declarations or territorial nonsense if left unchecked. Absolutely not.
"Nope." I said.
"What-" Aiden began.
"Bella?" Xavier said at the same time.
I stepped forward and stuffed the dessert into their mouths simultaneously. Aiden froze, eyes widening in pure shock as the soft honey petal sweet was gently but firmly pushed past his lips. Xavier, Xavier tried to say something, but it came out as a very undignified, muffled sound.
"Mm-?!"Xavier gasped.
"Chew." I ordered calmly. "Both of you."
The system blue screened a shocked reaction.
"PLAYER HAS INITIATED DIRECT FEEDING ACTION. THIS WAS NOT A SCRIPTED ROMANTIC BEAT. RECALCULATING-"The system glitched lightly.
