Chapter 20 - Chapter 20 Playing Hardball, Iron Golem Reinforcements!

"Damn, what does the Freedom Nation want to do?"

"Planning a sneak attack right after meeting? How disgusting."

"Damn it, why didn't Zane Wu kill you guys just now!"

"Quick, go find Zane Wu, the Freedom Nation is trying to revolt!"

"But the rules didn't explicitly forbid it, so it shouldn't be stopped."

"Great God Galen Yu, you must be careful!"

Seeing the situation with the Freedom Nation, the Nine Provinces' audience wanted to warn Galen Yu.

Inside the Research Institute, Headmaster Quill was also cursing loudly.

"Damn it, these guys are truly disgusting!"

Just after getting their equipment, they wanted to attack someone else!

The key was in the resource zone; it was unrealistic to move such a large iron mountain in a short time.

If he left and hid on the Sky Island, the opponent wouldn't know the specific location, and they wouldn't waste blocks to cross over for just the resources on the island.

But wouldn't doing that waste the privilege of being first?

"It's a privilege that allows one to take the initiative, but it also very easily puts one in a position where they are targeted!"

"This kid too—even though he had a gold mountain to choose from, why on earth did he pick an iron mine?"

Fries nodded, agreeing with what Headmaster Quill said.

In most civilizations, including the Parkour Civilization he participated in, parkour runners were judged by the shoes on their feet.

People of a certain rank should wear shoes of that rank; in terms of status, gold was more noble than iron.

In his eyes, Galen Yu in iron armor compared to Mark was like a parkour master versus a parkour expert; a parkour master was no match for a parkour expert!

As for Zane Wu, he knew without even studying him.

The guards wouldn't favor a particular player just because of the Nine Provinces; they likely acted based on ranking.

Only the strong deserved respect; they would definitely not interfere in such matters.

Already at a numerical disadvantage of one against two, and now the equipment wasn't an advantage either.

Galen Yu's situation was very dangerous!

"Even a beta tester would find it hard to survive such a disadvantage."

"Today, the Freedom Nation's time in the resource area should be almost exhausted, leaving only one day to set up defenses!"

He only hoped that the mysterious locked reward in the chest contained something that could help overcome this crisis.

'Is it getting dark again?'

Looking up, Galen Yu saw the sky gradually darkening.

Stretching his body, he felt sore and his legs were weak.

After a day of high-intensity mining, he was indeed exhausted!

'I wonder when I'll be able to complete the rest of the Steve Physique.'

The food he carried was gone; only his Steve Hands remained strong and powerful, feeling no fatigue at all.

Shaking his head, Galen Yu counted his harvest.

Although called an iron mountain, it didn't contain only iron ore.

Resources like wood, water, and cobblestone were present but in very small quantities; the main product was still iron ore.

After a day, he had mined a stack and a half of iron ore, even at this volume.

In the area below, there was still an endless supply of iron ore.

'So much iron, I'm rich!'

He first used cobblestone to make three furnaces, and following the principle of not wasting, he mined fifteen pieces of coal from outside.

After using up his block limit for the day, he began smelting iron ingots.

[PLAYING HARDBALL!]

Officially obtained iron ingots from the furnace!

He first crafted iron leggings and an iron pickaxe; he wasn't in a hurry to craft a helmet or boots with the remaining ingots.

He hadn't felt it before, but when the iron pants were put on...

Galen Yu could clearly feel his weight had increased.

A chestplate plus pants was currently the limit where he could maintain armor points without affecting his flexibility.

If he wore an iron helmet and iron boots as well, he would enter a 'Weighted' state.

"This part is actually quite realistic."

Still missing the Steve Body, Galen Yu quickly accepted this mechanic.

If everyone was weighted, it meant no one was; if his gear quality affected his flexibility, others would be even more affected.

Besides, with the pants and chestplate, he had the two pieces of gear that provided the highest defense; the rest wouldn't matter too much.

"Before I get the Steve Physique, it will be hard to improve equipment-wise."

"There's still so much iron left."

Looking at the darkening sky and the two pumpkin heads growing right at the edge of the chunk.

Galen Yu had an idea.

"I can just make an Iron Golem!"

The Iron Golem was definitely one of the most beloved creatures in the game!

It only spawned in villages and naturally protected villagers from monsters!

With high health, high attack power, and being friendly to players, it helped fight mobs.

From time to time, one could even receive a small red flower from this big guy!

How many people had once been scared by this massive figure, only to be moved by the softness hidden in its heart—that small red flower?

Regardless of others, at least Galen Yu was moved, which is why he built many iron farms to achieve iron ingot freedom...

Now that he had an iron mountain, he didn't need an iron farm for now; it would be great to have this big guy protect his home.

He didn't want to come over from the Sky Island one day only to find this place occupied by Creepers and Spiders.

He crafted nine iron ingots into an iron block, then arranged the iron blocks in a T-shape.

Finally, he placed the harvested pumpkin on top of the T-shape.

[RECRUIT REINFORCEMENTS!]

An Iron Golem appeared perfectly!

Leaving the Iron Golem in the resource zone, Galen Yu returned to the Sky Island to collect food while farming some Skeletons for bones.

Then, he planned to save his strength and have a good night's sleep to wait for tomorrow.

"Iron is secured; next, I need to find diamonds."

There was no rush for a diamond set, but a diamond pickaxe was a must-have to reach the Nether.

Gradually closing his eyes on the wool bed, Galen Yu had his first full night's sleep since coming to the block world.

The Nine Provinces' audience, immersed in the smooth operations, flooded the chat with comments.

"No one told me iron could be used to create creatures!"

"Is this why Galen Yu chose the iron mine? How did he know the crafting recipe!"

"Wait, when did the furnace appear? Can that thing be crafted too?"

"Ah, isn't it like the crafting table, naturally generated?"

"Maybe it was obtained from a chest; after all, it was a reward for killing the boss!"

"That's true, so this wave was definitely a profit!"

"But this thing is made of iron after all; can it stop Mark in gold armor tomorrow?"

"It feels difficult, but it's better than nothing!"

"Yeah, at least it's two-on-two now, there's a chance of winning!"

Throughout the night, the audience of the Nine Provinces spent their time in worry.

On the other side.

Compared to Mark's evil and Galen Yu's relaxation, Ronan Mountwell was now ecstatic.

The entire Samurai Nation was cheering for him.

"Mountwell is the best!"

"Heavens, even Obsidian has been cracked by you!"

"The strongest man in the Samurai Nation, invincible!"

"Hahahaha, a SlashBlade plus cracking Obsidian, we're finally going to be number one in the world!"

In front of Ronan Mountwell was a large gate constructed of Obsidian.

"Who would have thought the use for Obsidian was as a key to open a gate?"

Ronan Mountwell's grin nearly reached his ears.

What secrets were hidden behind this gate, how much treasure!

"Now, I, Ronan Mountwell, shall open the gate and seize the world's most hidden and precious treasure!"

"The Freedom Nation and the Nine Provinces will all be trampled under our feet!"
