(The Rhythmic Sound of Train Tracks)
It started moving after some slight delays, meanwhile.
Jesper and Sophy were enjoying some of the bento they have bought back at station,
While Lani is sitting beside the window, enjoying the view of the outskirts of Kyoto as power lines and light poles pass by quickly, the sound of it swooshing by can be faintly hear, suddenly a train blocks the view.
"Aww man...I was just enjoying the view..."
(Light Crack)
She said as she twisted open the cap of her sweet green tea.
"It's alright, it'll be passing...In about...Now"
Badr said as he took some pauses in between, but correctly predicting the training passing by,
"My my...You're some smart ass..."
Lani said as she teased him with her foot, Taking a sip of her green tea.
As the tea hit her taste buds, Her face is visibly showing sign of a not liking it.
"How's that green tea? Overrated, isn't it? "
Badr asked her as he stretched his arms, legs are slightly numb.
"Yeah...It's not that bad though..."
She said as she twisted the bottle cap back on, putting the bottle back in her bag.
"So...What's the plan once we meet your old friends? "
Lani asked as she laid her head on his shoulder.
Badr sighed a light sigh.
(Sigh...)
"Well, obviously to meet them, catch up, see if we can get to that house safely, we'd need a to get a car or van to haul ass to that town"
Badr explained, adding on.
"Besides, you won't feel out of place, Ayano is a nice woman, you'll all get along with her believe me! "
Badr hyping up Lani, somewhat lifting up her spirit up.
"I hope so baby..."
Lani said as she held Badr's arm while her head is still on his shoulder.
Infront of them sat an elderly Japanese couple, staring at them.
"なあ,ばあさん...あの二人,若かった頃の俺たちに似てないか? "

Said the elderly Man to his wife whispering.

"I guess so, they have a solid plan"
Jesper replied to Sophy,
"Hm, well let's just hope this whole thing ends up fun"
Sophy said as she looks at a fashion magazine she bought.
"Already looking at Japanese fashion, I see..."
Jesper said as he looks at the magazine as well.
"These are completely different to what we wore back in ae..."
Sophy said as she looked intensely at the tight jeans and crop tops.
She added on,
"Too revealing for me..."
Jesper chuckled, and then said.
"Right, totally"
Meanwhile Yuri was trying to not listen in on their conversation, she ended up putting in her purple earphones, while clicking through songs on her mp3 player.
Finally she found the song she was looking for and clicked on it.

Yuri eases up from being so tense, relaxing her shoulders and arms.
Buildings and houses pass by as she looks out to the city.

Location: Kobe, Shin-Kobe
The group finally arrive in Kobe.
Last time Badr was in Kobe, it was in the late 1990s, he started a whole Bar fight with some thugs, having to get bailed out by Leon and Ollie.

Yuri said as she met up with the other standing under the shade.
"Yep, now let's get the hell out of here"
Badr said as he held Lani's hand, But Lani replied.
"How about we just enjoy the view and enjoy our time here"
Lani said.
She was sort of a tourist to this new to this country, obviously and expectedly, she'd want to cherish her time here.
"You're right...We're in no hurry, besides let's walk around and...Take in the view"
Badr said as he looked at the others, Yuri in the background shrugging her shoulders.

They were talking about a rain water channel built underneath the station, somewhat a recent tourist attraction.
Meanwhile Jesper, Badr and Yuri were in the back discussing the plans once again, going into small details.
"Then we get a car, and start heading to the house"
Jesper said as he was talking with his hands,
"Yes, that's it, only minor changes can happen"
Badr replied as Yuri and Jesper turned to him.
"Like what? "
Yuri asked Badr as she put her hands on her sides.
"Like staying over for a day or two, maybe renting a house for a month or two"
Badr said as he smiled,
"Is it safe? Like in this area? "
Jesper asked Yuri and Badr.
"Maybe, I don't know, Isami will clue us in once we're there, haven't been here in a fucking long time..."
Badr said as he pulled out his wallet, checking the cash he had, then adding on.
"Alright then, let's get a taxi to the city, I get that we need to hit our cardio, but fuck that"
Yuri had an idea on where they could go, and she decided to tell Badr and Jesper about it, slightly shy but bold about it.
"Hey guys, how about we end up going to the zoo? I bet you guys haven't been in one, in a while"
She says as she takes a piece of gum out of her purse, unwrapping it.
"Hmm, not bad of an idea, what are y'all's thoughts?"
Badr asks the others as everyone pauses under a big old oak tree,
Sophy and Lani looks at each other and back at them.
"I'm down for it" ,
"Same here, why not? "
They said as they stood there waiting for the decision from Badr and Jesper.
Jesper finally submitted the verdict,
"Heck yeah, we need to change the weather"
And so they all agreed to go to the Zoo Park.
Time: 1:19 Pm
Someone from the five of them were so lucky,
That once again, all of their bags couldn't fit in one taxi.
So they had to end up splitting off for a little bit again.

Badr told the taxi driver,

Replied the Driver, but before he can drive off.
"Think fast"
Badr said as he tickled Yuri's nose, she was sitting in the front seat.
"Mother fucker! I'll get you! "
Yuri yelled as by standers turned to look.
Badr just brushed her off and came back to Lani who was giggling.
"Got her real good there"
He said as he was laughing hysterically,
"I'll beat him up as soon as I see him, !والله العظيم , I will! "
Yuri said as she closed the window, some of her arabic slipping out, while Jesper and Sophy both holding in their laugh.
Another taxi pulled up to Badr and Lani,
"Let me help you this time big boy"
Lani said as she tried to put up the bags, failing miserably.
"Did you just call me fat? now come on, give it here dummy, you've moved the entire mountains I see"
Badr teased her as he took the bags from her hand and placed them into the trunk.
"No! I didn't mean it in that way! But hey, I'm strong you know! I have very big Musclée! "
She said as she showed them off, flexing her arm, Badr instantly threw his hands in the air.
"Forgive me master! I will never make fun of your abnormally large muscles ever again! "
He said, as he get onto knees, sarcastically begging her for forgiveness.
"Hm, It's okay, I forgive you"
She said as she felt so smug about it,
"Now stand up"
She commanded as she had her hand on her hip and the other is leaned up on the taxi,
"Yes master! "
He replied as he stood up, she held in her laugh but then said.
"You're such a good boy"
Badr gave her the most dirty side eye, Lani trying to have a straight face, but her smile can't be hidden.
"Let's get our asses into the taxi..."
He said as he closed the trunk and waited for Lani to jump in the back seat, before getting in himself.
"Such a good monsieur...''
Lani teases him again as she got into the taxi, Badr now is rolling his eyes like a teenager.

Outside the main gate of the Oji Zoo
The three got dropped, as they were walking up and are checking if the zoo is open, and thankfully it is, or otherwise Yuri would've been very disappointed.
But as they waited there, they talked about a few things and about the zoos back in the Emirates, and if some of Yuri's childhood and favorite zoos are still standing.
"One of them sadly closed down, something happened there, news didn't specify what, but I think we can all...Guess..."
Sophy told Yuri as Jesper nodded and added on,
"Well they kind of went bankrupt, since it was a private owned zoo, but there were a few animal escapes too..."
He said while Yuri raised an eyebrow,
"Maybe we should...You know...Not go down that hole, right before we literally go into a zoo, if you catch my flow..."
Yuri says as she held her arm, they all fall silent for a few minutes before they go back to talking about random things,
It was a nice feeling, getting to know and slowly growing trusting in each other,
Meanwhile Jesper, Sophy and Lani were now standing outside the main gate.
A red sign in above them reading,

Sophy and Yuri were looking around, taking in the green glow from the sun hitting the tree leafs, while waiting for the others.
Jesper was staring at his watching, as Badr and Lani pulled up twenty or so minutes after they got dropped off.
"Heya! "
Lani yelled as she got out of the taxi, Badr taking out the bags behind her.
"Hello! "
Sophy yelled back, waving her hand.
"Jesus what does girl fucking carry with her..."
Badr said as he picked up all the bags with one hand and rolled the others with the other.
"Gimme my baggy"
Lani said as she come to Badr,
"Here's your baggy..."
Badr said as he got some what relieved as she took it from him.
They started walking towards the others,
"That was not that quick"
Jesper said to Badr and Lani,
"What can I say, that driver was very fast..."
Badr said as he wore his backpack and hanged the other one, on the handle and bars of the luggage bag.
"Woah, look at that Ferris wheel! "
Lani said as she pointed towards it, adding on
"We should go there afterwards! "
She said while adjusting her coat.
"Alright then, let's finally get in there"
Yuri told everyone as she leads the way.
Inside the Zoo
"Wowzies, look at all of those adorable Koalas! "
Sophy squealed as she pointed them out to Lani and Jesper.
"Look at their silly ears!"
Lani said as she giggled while looking at the poor Koalas being verbally bullied by her.
"They're so damn lazy, like get your butts up and be productive"
Jesper said seriously as his hands are in his pockets, Lani and Sophy both turn to him with a serious look.
"What? They are lazy? "
He told them, shrugging his shoulders.
Meanwhile Badr and Yuri,
"What do you think they'll think of us, once they see us? "
Yuri asked Badr, still worried.
"Don't think they'll be too surprised...Besides he probably missed us"
Badr told Yuri, slightly reassuring her.
"Let's enjoy this, as much as we can"
Badr added on, patting her back.
Yuri nodding her head slowly.
"Y'all lets go on the ferris wheel after we're done with the animals! "
Sophy suggested, brightening Lani's eyes up.
"Yes! Yes! "
Lani happily and joyfully agreed with Sophy.
"Alright then, let's just finish up with these animals first then we can worry about the ferris wheel"
Jesper said as he held Sophy's hand.

Badr was holding Lani hip, pulling her closer to him, as they observed the kangaroos.
"Man those fuckers are tough fighters..."
Badr told Lani as he pointed out their feet.
"See those feet? They kick really damn hard, just like a semi truck hitting you straight to the chest"
He told her as she was invested and looking at them, hearing Badr talk and describe how muscular and aggressive they are, she had a bold thought in her here.
So she asked him out loud, and
"Since you're way, way! More muscular than them, would you beat the shit out of that kangaroo? "
The question catching Badr off guard.
"What? I mean...Yeah but he'd probably break some of my ribs and my skull..."
Badr tried to act tough in front of her, and impressing her.
"Hm, I think you'll win, jump into the cage, I double dare you!"
She said coming closer to him again.
Meanwhile Jesper, Sophy and Yuri were in the background.
"Man those two look perfect, don't you think so? "
Sophy said as she told Yuri,
Yuri looked at them in annoyance,
"Yeah I guess, I fucking hate couples you know..."
Yuri replied to her, in a annoyed tone, scoffing as well.
Sophy slowly backed off, slowing down to catch up with Jesper as he was looking at the monkeys.
"Hey there, serious man"
Sophy said cheekily,
"Hello there pretty girl"
He replied back, hands still in his pocket.
"Wanna go grab a quick...Snack? "
She asked him as she winked twice,
"Like? Chips, Chocolates or sweets? Oh..."
He replied slowly realizing what she meant.
"Mhm..."
She said as she looked at him, pulling on his arm now.
"That type of delicious snack..."
He said, finally taking out his hands from his pockets, and starts holding Sophy's hand.
Her hand squeezing tightly on Jesper, pulling him slightly as they walked towards the a wooded area,
a bathroom sign showing them the way.
As Yuri was walking around, she looked back and saw Jesper and Sophy were gone.
She turned around left and right, looking for them.
"Damn it...Sneaky bastards..."
She said as she lost them, so she ended up deciding to continue watching and enjoying her time alone.
Seeing a sign reading,
"カバ舎/Hippopotamuses"
As well as another sign reading,
"カンガルー舎/Kangaroos"
Yuri read them as she continued walking towards the Hippo area.
"Let me see those big booty gals"
She said joking to herself in a roughly mimicking a Jamaican accent.
She slightly turned her head towards the left, she managed to see Badr and Lani in the distance.
Badr holding Lani close to him,
"Oh there they are..."
Before looking back at the swimming Hippo.
Some minutes later,
"Oh come on, you'll win, I know you can"
Lani said as they were coming towards Yuri,
"Hey Yuri! Do you think this guy can beat a kangaroo in a fight? "
Lani asked Yuri as they stopped beside her, also observing the hippo that is now out of the water.
"This guy? Spare me the humor, he'd shit himself the moment he sees a kangaroo! "
Yuri bursted out laughing, lowering her head onto the rail and bumping her head on it, as Badr's cheeky smile fading.
Lani is holding back her laugh,
"I'm kidding! Maybe who knows"
She says as she slowly stopped laughing, catching her breath as she replies.
He looked around for Jesper and Sophy, but couldn't see them,
"Alright then Ms smarty pants, where did the others disappear? "
Badr clears his throat before asking her.
"Uh, well here's the thing, she was talking about you guys and a second later, she disappeared! Along side Jesper"
Yuri told him as she leaned off of the railing.
"Damn, they did all the time, I know what they're off to do...Horny bastards..."
Lani told them as Yuri giggled, Badr shook his head.
"Alright then let's keep going, I think the Pinguins are head of us"
Badr told them as he still held Lani's hip.
"Then let's go check it out, unless you two will disappear too..."
Yuri tells them while throwing glances at them,
"Don't worry, we won't disappear, we might do it right here"
Badr said as Lani looked at him in disgust.
"Ew! "
She yelled as Yuri busted out laughing again, hysterically this time.

The three of them sat by an ice cream shop, after riding the Ferris wheel in the Zoo, watching at the Panda's crawling up the dead tree that was put there.
"You know...That Ferris wheel was the most boring thing..."
Yuri confessed to them as she paused to eat her ice cream,
Meanwhile Lani was enjoying the mint chocolate chip cookies way too much.
"Calm down there tiger, nobodies taking your ice cream. Don't want your goofy ahh getting a brain freeze"
Badr said as he chuckled,
"Hey! I'm not goofy, you are! "
Lani replied, Yuri giggling,
"Um, actually-"
He got cut off,
"Goofy goober! "
She said as she still had a lot of ice cream in her mouth.
"Hm, watch her have a brain freeze, I bet ya it'll happen..."
Badr whispered to Yuri who was sitting beside him,
She was waiting for it too.
"Ah! Fuh! Brain freeze!"
Lani yelled out as she closed her eyes and held her temple with her left hand.
Both Badr and Yuri started laughing,
"Told ya, never mess with ice cream! "
Badr told her as he continued to eat his caramel ice cream, but still offering her a tissue with his other hand, to clean off the mess on her chin.
"Thanks, imbécile..."
Lani took the tissue and replied to him.
"Ouch, you're so mean! "
Badr sarcastically held his heart in pain, putting on a whole act.
The two ghosts finally appeared, walking towards them,.
Yuri noticed them and waved at them while yelling,
"Wooho! We're here! "
As Sophy and Jesper waved back.
"Nobody tell them a thing about what I said, understood? "
Lani warned them both meanwhile Jesper and Sophy were coming closer.
"Hey guys...Sorry for the wait, we got distracted by the sea lions"
Badr and Yuri nodding their head up and down, trying to keep their poker faces on,
"So whatcha guys eating"
Sophy asked the others as Lani puts her ice cream cup up, showing her.
"Ass cream"
She said in a muffled voice as the ice cold cream is on her tongue.
"Oh, yummy! We'll go grab some for us too! "
Sophy said as she dragged Jesper along side her.
Yuri and Lani slowly letting out quiet giggles,
"Sea lions huh..."
Badr said as he scooped up the last bits of his ice cream, making the two laugh again.
Few minutes went by while Jesper and Sophy were picking the ice creams,
"So, we got Vanilla and bubblegum! "
Sophy told Lani and Yuri as she showed it off.
"Bubble gum is meh-"
Lani got cut off,
"Hush, not a word"
She said as she sat down, Jesper picking up a chair that was on the table across from them,
"This Zoo is kind of fun, nice layout"
Jesper told Badr as he sat down.
"Yep, probably built in the 70s or somethin"
Badr replied as he is side eyeing Jesper, and broke the wooden spoon in half and placed it inside the cup.
"So what we gonna do after we're done? "
Jesper asked as he ate his Vanilla ice cream.
"Dunno, probably explore a bit"
Sophy wanted to ask Badr and Yuri something, a thing she wanted to ask them long ago.
"So...You two..."
Badr looked at her spoon full of bubblegum ice cream.
"Hm? ",
"When was the last time you guys were in Kobe or Osaka? "
She asked confidentially, Yuri set down her cup of chocolate ice cream and cleared her throat.
"Last time I was in Osaka was back in...1999, I don't know about Badr though"
Yuri told her as she fidgeted with her nails slightly,
"Hm, I would say same, 97 or 98 . Been here and there for business, never really stayed in Osaka for longer than two days"
Badr said as he tried to remember more,
"What typa business? "
Sophy pushed on, curiosity getting the better of her.
He took a short pause to look at Jesper, his arms were already crossed, analyzing Badr from the side.
"Well...You know, Races and maybe a few not so legal car deals, maybe just maybe, I was involved in...Murder"
Badr whispered to the group as Yuri also came in close to listen, adding her own thoughts too it as well.
"You mean that Yakuza dude? That you tortured with acid? "
As soon as Yuri said that, everyone except Jesper looked at her in horror.
"Guys relax, he literally murdered old people just because they couldn't pay protection money"
Badr said, trying to cover his own butt, Yuri stepped in.
"I mean true, he did also torture elders and younglings, for his sick pleasure"
Yuri stated that as she leaned back,
Lani and Sophy slowly calmed down too.
"Oh okay...Then that's well deserved..."
Lani whispered.
As he nodded in agreement,
"Absolutely deserved, Isami might tell you even more stories, I kinda forget some"
Badr said as he scratched his head.
As everyone finished up their ice creams, they decided to finally get into the city now, and explore it slightly, before meeting up with Isami.
The time is 2:16 Pm
They decide to walk, maybe chill at some of the stores they might find eye catching, maybe a restaurant, maybe a cafe or a bar.
"Anybody got any plans on what we gonna do next? "
Badr asks the others,
As everyone shook their head no.
He decided they should go for a little shopping,
"How about we go buy some stuff, besides, we need to gift Isami and Ayano something, we'd be their guests"
Badr told the others as Yuri agreed.
"Of course, yeah"
Yuri replies as she walked behind Badr.
A few cigar stores, Chocolate store and a flower store later.
"Finally, got what we need..."
Badr stopped as he contemplated asking them this.
"Uh so...Just incase, do you guys wanna get a hotel? "
Badr asked as they stopped beside a hotel.
The Moonshine Hotel.
"I mean yeah sure, we do have to freshen up before meeting them"
Jesper said as Lani and Sophy nod in agreement,
"Alright then, let's get us some rooms then"
As Badr held a bag with the box of cigars and chocolates in it.
Inside the Hotel Lobby
Sophy, Lani were sitting at the small couch in the lobby as they were waiting for them to book some rooms.
"Oh you speak English, Perfect, I'd like to book thre-"
Badr got cut off by Jesper and Yuri.
"I'll pay for me and Sophy"
Jesper said as he stood aside, waiting for him to finish.
"Same here"
Yuri said as she leaned on the counter.
"Damn alright let me check if there is even rooms available..."
He said disappointed,
"And yes we have plenty of rooms available, we have the twin bed rooms, single queen sized rooms, as well as deluxe king suites"
Said the receptionist, in almost perfect English.
"I'll take one deluxe king"
Badr said as he pulled out his wallet after putting the bag with the chocolate, cigar box on the counter.
"You think Isami still smokes? "
Yuri asked Badr as he paid in cash,
"Most likely, but if not, then it'll be a nice decor"
He replied back meanwhile the receptionist is booking the rooms.
"Alright Sir, your room has been booked and our staff will help you to your room"
Said the polite receptionist as she pointed to the concierge with her hand,
"Thank you! "
Badr thanked her as he signaled Jesper or Yuri.
"You're turn..."
He whispered as he passed them.
Both Jesper and Yuri shook their head,
"Lani, my dear, let's go to our private quarters"
Badr said as he offered his hand to Lani,
She grabbed his hand with hers, and Badr pulled her up gently.
"What in the, Fairy, Princess being saved by the beast, love story is this?"
Sophy giggled as she asked them, he replied to her.
"Don't know, our love story"
Sophy cringed as soon as she heard that.

Jesper and Yuri finished booking and checking into their rooms 20 minutes ago,
Meanwhile Badr and Lani were already in their room, cuddling and relaxing after that train ride and walk.

As he laid his head back on the pillow, playing with her hair as he closes his eyes,

Meanwhile in Jesper's room.

Sophy said as she is brushing her hair with one hand, Jesper leaving the bathroom while rubbing off the steam off of his glasses.
"Alright back to what I was doing"
Jesper said to himself as he put on his glasses again and checked the Japanese Dictionary,
Trying to learn to speak Japanese without needing Badr or Yuri to do it for them everytime.

He squinted his eyes trying to say some basic words.
"It's going to take a long...Long time to learn this..."
Jesper said as he had his fingers through his hair, massaging his head.
Sophy using the condition on her hair and is humming a tune to pass the time.

Badr came by to inform them that they'd leave in a few, to catch up with Isami.
Jesper along side Sophy got ready and prepped, Lani was already doing hair hair as Badr went to Jesper's room.

Jesper and Sophy were already ready, waiting in the hallway along side Lani now, letting her now straightened hair down.
Badr was going to tell Yuri that they were waiting on her,
"I wonder who this Isami guy is..."
Sophy whispers to the two as they watch Badr walk around the corner.
"Well, He said it was someone he knew since the 90s, according to him, he's a good guy..."
Jesper said as almost murmuring while looking at the notepad in his hand, still trying to figure out some Japanese.
"Hm, I got my trusty keys, just incase he tries to do anything! "
Sophy says, all smug and tough, before Jesper calms her down.
"Heard that guy is very, Jozuna... I think I said that right? "
Jesper said as he closed the notepad and looked at Sophy and Lani.
"Oh you finally did the straight hair look again"
He added on as he noticed her.
Yuri's Room, Room 45

Badr knocked on the door, with a pattern.
"Coming! I'm just putting on my ear rings! "
Yuri yelled as she came closer to the door before unlocking it.

He asked her straight forwardly, slightly has a hick up.
Yuri nods her head and tells him yes,

He tapped the door frame as he walked back to the group.
"Damn, forgot my wallet! "
He says as he checks his pants and jacket pockets,
Turning the corner and seeing Lani looking out the hallway window, and Jesper and Sophy sitting down on the floor.
"Hey Lani! Did you see my wal-"
Lani pulled out his wallet and showed it too him, smiling as she says,
"You forgot your wallet dummy"
Handing him the wallet, he held the bag with the gifts in his other hand as he placed his wallet, into his pocket with the other.
"Thank you gorgeous, love the way your hair looks"
He compliments her, making her smile even more.
"Peekaboo! "
Yuri says as she turns the corner, seeing all four waiting for her.
"Oh hey, guess we're all ready to head out"
Lani says as she stretches her arms in the air.
"Mhm, now we need a taxi...Again..."
Badr says slightly annoyed.

Everyone was walking together outside, waiting for a taxi to show up, there was barely any cars, the weather was cold and windy.
"Can we just squeeze into one taxi this time? We don't have our bags and stuff"
Yuri says as she has her arms crossed,
"Yeah I guess, we just need a bigger taxi..."
Badr says as breathes out, sighing as a steam flies into the air.
"Like that van or something"
Jesper points it out to the others,
"Oh yeah forgot to mention, there's van taxis too"
Yuri says as she checks through her purse, trying to find something,
"Do they have a way to get contacted with the taxi company or anything? "
Jesper asked as he looked around as well, and sees a taxi.
"Is that the taxi you guys were talking about? it's coming towards us"
Jesper says as he stops, and so does everyone.
"Yeah that's the one! "
Yuri says as she starts waving her hands, to signal the driver.
"Hey, Over here! "
She yells to driver, but she accidentally dropped her cell phone onto the cold asphalt, breaking the hinge, sending the display flying into a road side canal.
"No! Fuck! My cell! "
The taxi driver parks ahead of them, putting on the hazards to indicate that he's stopped for them.
"My phone! "
Yuri says in a sad tone slightly,
"Oh damn...Well it's okay just pull...Out the sim card and I'll buy you a new phone"
Badr says as he opens the sliding door of the Taxi.
Yuri squats down as she picks up a part of her cell phone that didn't fall into the gutter, and placing it in her pants.
"Alright everybody get it"
Badr tells everyone as he jumps into the front seat,
"Yeah thanks man, I thought we had to stand here all day"
Jesper says jokingly as he waits for Lani, Sophy and Yuri to jump in before him.
"You're quiet the Jester, Jesper"
Badr jokes with him as he got into the taxi.
"Ha ha, I know, I'm funny"
Jesper said as the taxi door shut by itself.

Badr replied to him, while looking back at Jesper.

The taxi driver said enthusiastically as he turned off the hazard lights.

The taxi was slightly stuck in traffic in a small road, police cars and sirens can be heard.
Jesper was calm, same for Badr.
Lani slightly worried, Sophy visibly worrying.
Yuri in the other hand had earphones in and is listening to music.
"神社まで,あとどれくらいですか? "
(How far are we from the shrine?)
Badr asked the driver as they struck up a small conversation,
"おそらく,あと数分ほどですね.そんなに遠くありません"
(Probably just a few minutes, it's not very far)
The taxi driver replied to him, Badr asking another question.

Badr asks, trying to know more about the city of Kobe.
"あまりいませんね.ほとんどがビジネスマンです"
(Nope, not really, mostly just business men)
Replied the taxi driver as he checks his side mirrors, Badr nodding his head.
Seven Minutes later,
"はい,こちらが目的地です"
(Alright, this is your destination)
Said the Taxi driver, Badr pulling out some money from his wallet.
They were beside a tall wall, above it is a parking lot.
"Here, and a tip"
Badr gives him the money as he steps out,
"Thank you! Thank you!"
Said the young driver, everyone else gets out of the taxi.
"That was the most comfortable taxi ride, I have ever been in"
Lani says as she starts reminiscing already, as Badr adjusts the position of the backpack on his back and checks the bag again just incase.
"So, do we keep walking down this street? "
Jesper asks as he scans the area, Waryingly.
"Yeah the shrine should be...Up ahead? "
Badr says as he could see a curve in the road, towards the right, the area is wooded, surrounded by building complexes and houses.
"Yeah most likely...Japanese shrines tend to be, hidden in plain sight, most of the time..."
Lani says as Yuri backs her up.
"True that..."
As she took her earphones off.
"Stay close, never know if there are bears or not"
Badr says as he walks ahead of everyone, keeping distance just incase.
Time: 6:02 Pm
The four stood outside the small and weather Torii gate before the shrine itself.
Yuri stood in front of the shrine, hands clamped together, praying.
"Isn't she? You know...?"
Jesper said as he crossed his arms, face showing slight confusion,
Badr tells him, sensing what the confusion was for.
"Nah, she isn't, she converted to Christianity, maybe changed back again"
Badr said in a sarcastic tone, already used to it.
"Oh, well you don't really have to be Christian or Buddhist to pray to a shrine, you know?"
Lani tells them as she turns towards them,
"Hm? "
Both Badr and Jesper say as Sophy gets interested.
"Praying to a shrine is like, wishing good luck or fortune, stuff like that, nothing religious"
Lani says as she slightly paces around,
eyes watching them, Jesper could sense it.
Yuri finished up her prayer and came back after tossing in a coin. into a small red bowl by the shrine.
"What did you wish for? "
Badr asked her as she came back, Yuri fixing her hair as she replied.
"Safe passage and good luck"
Badr nodding his head in agreement,
"Well hey, that's good, anyways you guys also got that weird feeling?"
Badr points it out,
"What feeling? "
Jesper asks him as he looks at him,
"Like we're being watched..."
Badr says as he scans the surroundings, Jesper and Yuri joining him.
"Sly fox..."
A voice echo's, reverberating off the houses and alleyways.
Badr looks around in confused, as well as everyone else.
the sun is slowly starting to set, Badr yells back.
"Ezo Fox! "
His voice now also echoing,
"Been a long, long time brother."
The person says, while adding on.
"Up here"
Badr and everyone else starts looking up, turning behind them they see a person sitting on the roof of the building, legs dangling off the edge, some type of drink in his hand.
"It indeed has been a long time"
Badr replies as he looks up,
"I'll get down now"
Isami says as he climbs back up.
"Is that him? The Isami guy? "
Jesper whispers to him as he relaxes.
"Yeah, that's him alright..."
Moments later,
Isami is now walking towards them,
"Well well, guess the fox brought his friends as well, nice to see you guys"
Isami tells them as he places the energy drink bottle into the rear pocket of his jeans.
"Nice to finally see you again brother"
Badr tells him as he handshakes him, then they both go in for a hug.
"How was your guys sudden and unexpected trip so far? "
Isami asks Jesper and the others,
"So far so good, besides the part we might have a bounty on our heads"
Jesper replied sarcastically, trying to make the situation less stressful for the others.
Isami stops after he nodded to Lani and Sophy, seeing Yuri slightly tucked behind everyone.
"My my, if it's not for Desert fox herself..."
He says, surprised to see her.
"Yeah..."
She says as she walks up to Isami,
"Come on, the old team is slowly coming back together, this is great! "
Isami says excitedly, pulling her into a hug, catching her by surprise,
"Sorry about before..."
She says while their still in a hug,
"Oh shut up, it's whatever! Ayano will be so surprised seeing you two back in town! "
He says while finally letting her go,
"Sorry for the sudden drop in, we got a hotel and everything but, I just wanted to see you again"
Badr says as his tone clearly shows that he has missed Isami.
"It's all good, I'm happy you stopped by, let me invite you all for dinner, please"
He invites them for dinner at his place.
"No no, we don't want to trouble your wife! "
Lani says trying her best to be polite and nice.
"Oh it's okay, I did tell her we might have guests come over, she ended up preparing for hours ahead! "
Isami says as he scratches his head and smiles.
"Wait, you didn't tell her you're going to meet us? "
Badr asks as he laughs,
"Nope, told you it'll surprise her"
He says as he pulls out his houses keys and starts playing with them.
"Still got that tricks I see, a master never loses his skills! "
Badr says patting Isami's back,
"Follow me guys, I live nearby"
He signals everyone to follow him as he still is playing with his keys, showing off his tricks.
Isami & Ayano's House
After Five minutes of walking, they finally arrived to his home.
"Shh, keep quiet, I'll act as if nothing is happening"
Isami says as he unlocks the door with his keys.
Opening the door and walking into the house,
"おかえり,あなた! 会議はどうだった? "
(Hey honey!, how was the meeting? )
Ayano says, her voice muffled and slightly distant,
"うまくいったよ...でも残念だけど,今日はみんな夕食には来られないって.ごめんね,愛しい人"
(It went well... but sadly, they're not coming for dinner. Sorry, sweetheart)
Isami replies, pretending to be exhausted from work.
He unlocks the door once again, letting everyone in.
His finger on his mouth signaling them to shush,
Badr holding in his laugh, Jesper and Sophy not knowing if to laugh or be serious.
Grown people acting like children playing hide and seek.
"そっか,残念....みんなに美味しい晩ごはん用意したんだけどな"
(Aww, what a shame...I prepared a nice dinner for them)
Ayano says, slightly disappointed and sad.
"大丈夫だよ!俺が全部平らげちゃうから.パンくず一つ残さない勢いでね"
(Don't worry darling! I'll eat it all up, and leave not a single crumb)
Isami reassures Ayano as he kisses her on her lips.
"野良のキツネがいたから,保護しちゃった"
(And I found a stray fox, brought it back home)
He added on, surprising Ayano, Making her squeal.
"キツネえ!? 頭おかしいんじゃないの! ?"
(A fox!? Are you crazy!?)
Ayano yelled loudly, obviously making her scared.
"コンコン, 彼が見つけてきたキツネは,私のことだ! "
(Knock, knock, the fox he found was me! )
Badr said as he slowly popped out from the corner, making Ayano confused.
"は...? え,ちょっと何..."
(Huh? What, what...)
Ayano was so confused she looked at both Badr and Isami, as Isami had a silly smile on his face.
Yuri was laughing silently, but she also wanted to get some drama going,
"ちなみに,一匹目の後についてきた二匹目のキツネは,ボクのことだよ!"
(And by the way, the second fox that followed the first one was me!)
Yuri said also creeping out from the corner,
Ayano's mouth is gaping from confusion, eyes blinking rapidly.
"ちょっと待って...嘘でしょ..."
(Hold on...You're kidding...)
She says as she puts down the glass of juice from her hand.
"ユーリ!? ユーリなの!? "
(Yuri!? Is it Yuri!?)
Ayano says excitedly as she comes closer to them.
"そうそう,その通り, バドゥルもちゃんといるよ"
(Yes, that is right. Badr is here too)
Isami tells her as she looks to him in surprise and shock.
"ユーリ,このお調子者!どうしてたのよ!?"
(Yuri, you dummy! how have you been!?)
Ayano tells her as they embrace in a hug together.
"I've been decent! How about you? "
Yuri replies to her as Ayano is looking at her, missing her presence.
"It's been so long since we last spoken! Come, eat dinner with us!"
Ayano says being polite and excited in the same time,
"I'm sorry we popped up all of the sudden Ayano, I even brought new friends with us"
Badr tells her as Jesper, Lani and Sophy stood there in the hallway waiting their cue.
"Hello! Nice to meet you Mrs Ayano! "
Sophy says as she waves,
Jesper and Lani doing the same.
"They are your friends? "
Ayano asks Badr as she smiles and greets them.
"Yes, they're good people, I trust them"
Badr replies to her as he pulls out the Cigar box from his jacket, and hands the chocolates to Ayano, as Yuri takes the flower from Lani's hands to hand to her.
"Here! We bought you some pretty flowers for you!"
Yuri says as she hands the bouquet of flowers,
Ayano is now almost jumping out of her skin from happiness and shock.
"We brought you some of the finest Swiss chocolate, and for you my dear friend, I brought you the finest Cigars imported from Cuba"
Badr hands the box of full Cuban Cigars to Isami.
"Last time we saw each other, you were still a smoker, wouldn't be surprised if you've changed that habit though"
Badr tells Isami as he opens the box.
"I rarely smoke now adays, just on occasions...But this day...Is one of them"
Isami says as he smiles and laughs.
"Come everyone! Let's eat together! "
Ayano invites everyone to eat dinner together.
Sitting down in the dining room of Isami & Ayano's home,
They enjoyed a deliciously made Fried chicken, Salads, mashed potatoes as well as some hot steaming beef and port dumplings.
Everyone was laughing, giggling and drinking, recalling memories of their time in the Emirates & in Japan.
Ayano and Isami sharing her memories of the Fox gang back in the day, the evening was filled with joy and happiness for everyone.
Time: 8:49 Pm
Badr and Isami were in the backyard drinking some Japanese Sake, talking about how things would've been and how they turned out.
Yuri and Ayano, along side Sophy and Jesper, were sitting on the sofa chit chatting more,
Jesper got up from the sofa, and walked towards backyard to join Isami and Badr.
"Hey you two, mind if I join? "
Jesper asks as he walked past the open sliding door, seeing Isami smoke the cigar.
"Not at all, join us"
Isami said himself, Badr signaling him to join them.
"Thanks...It gets really confusing and overwhelming, the moment they talk about hair cuts..."
Jesper said as Badr passed him a Sake can,
(Pop!)

Jesper popped the can open, hissing and foaming, he quickly sucked all the foam.
Isami and Badr chuckle,
"That's ladies for you"
Badr tells them before drinking some again.
"Back when Leon stayed with us...He always used to work on his car and race around the highways"
Isami said. Talking about Leon, Badr's distant German cousin, who introduced him to Isami and multiple other people that later founded, The Foxes.
"Yeah...He was more into racing we ever were"
Badr replied to him before taking a big sip,
"Is Leon alive? Or is he no longer with us? "
Jesper asked trying to read the vibe as much as he can.
"Sadly, he isn't here anymore, he died on the road, but not in the way he wanted"
Isami told him as he finished up his can,
"What happened? "
Jesper asked again,
Isami sighed, Badr cleared his throat and replied to Jesper in a completely different tone.
A one Jesper has never seen.
"After winning a big race, he went to celebrate in a bar with most of our guys"
Jesper listening and pays attention as Badr adds on,
"The losers were some Yakuza filth, couldn't take a loss, they followed him and beat him up in the bar then dragged him out into the street..."
"As well as four of our people, three had broken bones and knife wounds, Leon had stabs to the stomach and neck, broken skull...And broken ribs..."
Badr said as he lowered his head.
"Fuck..."
Jesper said clenching his Sake can, imagining it all.
Badr had more to say,
"As if that wasn't enough, they even cut off his ears and shoved them into his throat, then they shot him, straight in the fucking head..."
The backyard was silent, almost lifeless.
Not a single word was uttered by Isami nor Jesper,
In respect and remembrance, Badr decided to drink to him.
"To Leon..."
Badr said, shaking everyone awake.
"To Leon"
The two said in unison, quietly.
Time: 11:13 Pm
As the night creeped in, the group have reconnected, forming new bonds and friendships, something they really needed at a time like this.
Human connection.
Someone to be there for them, and when everyone is getting tired and slightly sleepy.
Alcohol in their systems and stomach filled plenty.
Isami and Ayano offered them to sleep at their home for the night,
"No, no we can get back to the hotel, its fine"
Badr said to Isami as he got up from the sofa, Lani following.
"Please, you can guys rest here, it's an honor to have to here"
Isami replied, Ayano nodding in agreement.
"We don't wanna be too much of a burden to you guys"
Jesper says while drinking some water.
"No never! You guys are not a burden, you're welcome here anytime"
Isami replied to Jesper stubbornly, Badr sighed and chuckled.
"Man you're really good at insisting..."
As he sat back down on the couch.
Relaxing his back and shoulders, Lani sits down as well, as she looks at Badr slightly close his eyes, resting them.
"Come girls, I show you the guest rooms"
Ayano told the girls as she stood up, still smiling and being polite.
"Oki doki!"
Said Sophy as she got up excitedly.
"Alright! "
Lani and Yuri also replied.
As Badr shook his head, Jesper Chuckling, Isami smiling.
All the girls left, leaving the boys all alone again.
Isami looks at Jesper and points to the fridge,
"More drinks? "
He said as his smile grew wider, Badr opens one of his eye.
"Fuck yeah! "
Badr says as he dabs Isami up, so does Jesper.
"Why the hell not! "
Jesper replies, the three now laughing like middle school boys.
Date: 20th of November
Time: 12 Am
Badr and Isami were drinking their last sake, already full and tired.
Jesper on the other hand fell asleep on the couch, head to the side.
"We should go do something for fun someday, maybe even tomorrow! "
Isami said as he finished his drink, Badr laughing but asks.
"Fun? Like what?"
Isami thinks about it, but replies to him.
"Maybe we can go camping, or hiking."
He paused for a second,
"Or maybe we can visit the storage unit, where..."
Pausing again, making Badr curious.
"Where what? "
Badr asked, waiting for Isami to spill it.
"Where I've kept Leon's car in that warehouse after it was half burned..."
Isami said with a heavy tension in his tone.
"I thought it was fully damaged beyond even saving? Ollie told me that it was gone"
Badr said as he crushed the can with his arm, slightly angry.
"If she would've told me it was repairable, I would've asked you guys to ship it back to the Emirates"
He adds on as he is slightly angry,
"Yeah I know, I'm sorry, she just decided to be in control and do what she wants"
Isami said as he cleared his throat.
"But it's okay, at least you kept it for all these years..."
He replies, slowly relaxing and calming down,
Both sigh lightly as they can hear the girls laugh in the distance.
"I'll call it a night..."
Isami says as he cleans up, picking up the empty Sake cans and Badr helps him.
"Same here brother"
Badr replied to Isami,
Leaving the living room and throwing the trash and cans, he later went upstairs to his bed room, leaving Badr and Jesper in the living room.
"Psst, yo"
Badr tells Jesper as he is still asleep,
"Jesper!"
He whispered, no response.
Badr went and threw the cans and trash into the trash.
Then walked back into the living room, waking Jesper up.
"Yo, get up, let me show you to the guest room so your ass can finally sleep on a bed"
Badr tells him as Jesper wakes up.
"Oh shit...Aight..."
Jesper said as he slowly got up, rubbing his eyes.
(Knock, Knock)
There was a knock on the guest room door,
The room goes silent as Sophy opens the door,
"Yeah, here, your sleepy prince charming"
Badr says as Jesper pops out of the corner half asleep.
"Oh, hey y'all!"
Jesper said as he stood outside the room,
Seeing Jesper, Lani and Ayano got up and excused themselves, saying byes.
"Take care of little sleepy head for me"
Badr told Sophy as Jesper slowly got in bed.
"Alright then, later!"
Sophy said and Badr replied before closing the door,
"Later Soph"
Lani stood outside beside Badr,
"How did making a new friend go? "
Badr asked Lani as she held his hand,
"Good, she is really nice and sweet! "
Lani replied as she had more to say.
"Oh yeah? Tell me more about it"
Badr tells her as he is slowly getting sleepier by the moment.
"She said that she is a hair stylist and went to cosmetology courses! She is so good at it! "
Lani whispered to Badr as they walked downstairs to their guest room, she added on.
"She even offered to style my hair one day, trendy Japanese hairstyles and makeup! "
She says as Badr opens the door, nodding his head and agreeing.
"But hey, you don't need to put on make up or anything, besides you're naturally beautiful without-"
He gets cuts off while talking by Lani,
"Hush I want to see what is all the hype about"
She tells him, insisting.
"But..."
Badr muttered, as Lani uttered back.
"No butts! "
The two got slightly undressed, and got ready for bed,
And then fell asleep moments later.
In the Morning
Time: 7:42 Am
Badr, Lani and Yuri were up, along side Ayano, preparing breakfast for Isami.
Isami was getting ready for work, brushing his teeth upstairs.
"Do you need help? I can help you! "
Lani tells Ayano as she is cooking.
"No, no! It's okay! "
Ayano says as she is placing the rice into the bowl.
"Lani, could you wake up Jesper and Sophy? "
Badr asks Lani, as she nods and stands up to go,
Foot steps can be heard coming down from the stairs, and some door unlocking.
"Good morning you two! '
Isami can be heard saying from the stairs, to Jesper and Sophy.
"G-morning Isami"
Jesper replies to him from upstairs, muffled and distant.
"Never mind I guess"
Badr chuckles as he tells her.
"おはよう!"
(Good Morning!)
Ayano says to Isami as he finally comes down the stairs, wearing his white shirt, and black tie.
"おはよう,あなた"
(Good morning)
Isami replies as they kiss.
"朝ごはん,できたよ"
(Breakfast is ready)
She tells him, as he replies to her.
"すごくいい匂いだね"
(It smells so good)
He says as he picks up the bowl of rice and a bowl of soup.
Ayano behind him with more things.
Meanwhile Badr and Lani were sitting in the living room, waiting for Jesper and Sophy to get ready.
"Oh hey, good morning guys, you're all up early I see"
Isami notices them as he comes out of the kitchen,
"Yeah, we got to skedaddle back to the hotel"
Badr says as she taps his knees with his hands.
"Okay then, the others up already so you guys stay safe alright? "
Isami says as Jesper and Sophy finally come down the stairs.
"Hey y'all"
Sophy says as she is the first to come down, Jesper following close behind.
"Morning guys"
Badr and Lani wave and say in unison,
"Good morning! "
Yuri still half asleep replies,
"Good morning, you too..."
Five minutes later,
Isami helped them order a big taxi, so they could all fit inside, and it arrived.
So the group is saying their byes to Isami and Ayano,
Ayano bowing and so does Isami, the others bowing as well.
"Bye my dear Yuri! "
Ayano says as Yuri is waving bye back.
"Bye bye! See you soon! "
Yuri yells as she continues to wave, even after getting into the van.
"Man...I missed them..."
Yuri says as the taxi drives off back to their hotel.
"Yeah me too..."
Badr replies from the front seat,
"Hope you guys had a nice time with Ayano and Isami"
He added on, asking the others.
"We sure did! Didn't we Lani? "
Sophy said, happy.
"Mhm! Super nice people! "
Lani replied to Sophy as she looked visibly happy as well.
"Isami is a good guy, would love to meet him again"
Jesper said as he put his glasses back on, while writing a few things into his notepad.
"Hope you also learned some new words from Isami"
Badr asks Jesper as he looks up from the notepad,
"Yep, plenty of useful words and phrases"
He replied to Badr as he went back to writing.
Twenty Minutes Later,
Location: Moonshine Hotel
Time: 8:09 Am
The taxi dropped them off at the Hotel, as the group made their way back into the hotel.
They turned left and into the dining room, as people were already eating breakfast,
Sound of utensils lightly clanking onto the plates are heard, they got checked in with the staff at the entrance of the dining room.
"Rooms 140, 45 and 88"
Badr says as the group is waiting.
"Alright sir, you can go in"
Said the staff member as he smiled and nodded his head.
"Thank you"
Badr said as he signaled everyone to go in.
Moments later,
Everyone got their plates full of food, and glasses full of juices as well as coffee.
Jesper and Sophy sat together eating their breakfast,
Meaning Yuri sat with Lani and Badr, chit chatting about plans and what they could do today.
"Well we could hit the mall, also you got to get a new phone, since yours broke"
Lani says as Badr also wanted to say that, nodding his head.
