In a random devastating night, while Shainihebun was burning in flames, Yuki was standing from afar, alone, she was 21 years old by then, she had a tall figure and light paled skin and she was wearing a black karate uniform.
She had a very cold and satisfied expression in her face as she starts talking to herself:
– It is finally over... everybody is dead and this town is in flames, just like I wanted it to be... Horie is dead... and my mentor aswell, and I have their souls within me...
Yuki tried remembering everything that lead to this.
And everything went back 15 years ago, when she was just a mere child.
After she was done playing with the other children, she goes to the store and buys some groceries which she carries, the little girl also carries with her a few roses. She was in a very happy mood, and she meets with Chiyo in her way home, Chiyo knew her well, she'd see Yuki as her precious little sister, always hanging around and talking about how their days were going. Yuki looked up and smiled innocently, her tone fully enthusiastic.
– Igarashi-chann!! You are back home, how was your day??
– Hi, Yuki... it was tiring but it was good as usual, thanks for asking! What about yours? Chiyo asks with a hint of warmth in her voice...
– Just going to the hills to get mommy some flowers! You must be tired, you should go rest...
– Yeah, I guess so... see you around, Yuki! Chiyo exclaimed as they saluted each other and walked to their own paths.
After that conversation, Yuki walked all the way towards a hill full of wheat and grass, and spotted her father and mother taking a relaxing walk, her mom was wearing a straw summer hat, the mother had very long black hair flowing beneath it, and a thin, gentle figure, but her face—Yuki couldn't remember her parents faces.
She tries remembering what her father used to look like, but she fails yet again, all that she remembers is that he had very dark hair and a very tall presence. The people she used to love the most were forgotten like a burning memory.
Yuki recollects giving her mother the roses and being hugged by the woman, it was such a warm memory that she couldn't forget.
When they arrive home, they had a dinner together, and after having a nice meal along with her family, Yuki announced to her mom that she was ready to go to sleep. The sweet parental figure smiled and walked to the girl, kissing the child on the cheek with all her love...
– Good night, sweetheart...
The child smiled and nodded, rushing to her bed, and before she knew it, she fell asleep. Waking up, she heard a bang, she tried to ignore it until she heard her mother screaming in pain, it was unbearable to disregard, so she quickly ran downstairs, the sound was coming from the kitchen, and when she gets there, the scene happening in front of her eyes was too much to bear, she was... frozen.
Her father's head was on the floor, it wasn't where it was supposed to be, and there was a lot of blood. When she looks up, there was a group of 3 bandits standing together, one was ovserving what the other bandits were doing while also looking at the frozen child, the mother was held by her hair by one bandit while the other vagabond was... sexually abusing the mother. Yuki slowly looked to her mother, and the woman looks at the child, she starts shaking while being sexually harrassed, and she starts yelling:
– No! Noo! Nooo!! Let me g-goo! Don't do t-this to me!—in f-front of the child! She cries before looking at Yuki and yelling: Yukii!! Run, quickly!!
But Yuki was still frozen until she saw the criminal observing the scene slowly walking towards her. Yuki had to think through it, so to guarantee an escape, she runs towards the window of her room upstairs, and jumps through the window, falling straight into a muddy puddle. Yuki felt a stinging pain as she couldn't move one leg and one arm. After a few minutes she sensed the vagabonds walking outside and seeing her, so Yuki played dead. The bandits looked at each other and shrugged, them feeling that the girl might have just killed herself, so they let the kid dead on the ground. When the murderers walked away, Yuki slowly got up and walked back inside the house, and lays down against the corpses of her dead parents, on her mother's laps. The dead mum's left hand slowly slips on Yuki's body, the girl senses it and slowly looks at the mother's face.
All that Yuki remembered was that her parent's eyes were nothing but empty.
– M-Mom?... Mommy! MOMMY, WAKE UPP!!! MOMMY!!!!! MOMMY! PLEASE! WAKE! UPPPPPPPP!!!!!! She yells, feeling her heart completely shattered, starting to cry.
The girl a few hours later wakes up as the sun started setting up, the golden sunrays enlightening on her. She slowly gets up, her entire body was covered in blood and dirt since she slept in a blood pool.
She realizes then that... her parents bodies were nowhere to be seen, and the only stuff present that was around the room was the pool of blood. She also realizes that she doesn't feel her arm or legs broken anymore, she doesn't feel that stinging of pain in any part of her body.
The child starts believing that her parents were alive, and her eyes were starting to glimmer in tears with hope, as she ran outside yelling "Mommy! Daddy!", there was no trace of her mother nor father, they were entirely gone, vanished. Yuki started having a panic attack, screaming in the top of her lungs, neighbours started hearing that and quickly came to help the young girl with it.
Some of the higher ups later come to investigate the blood around the girl's house.
While the girl was being treated, one of the detectives comes back to talk with the neighbours.
– What did you find, Mr. Detective? One of the neighbour males asked.
– I found blood everywhere and what seems to be a bit of baby seed I think... I don't think the girl is responsible for any of this, she seemed to shocked for her to do anything like that but... I believe it was either a murder situation in the family or either a group of bandits or vagabonds searching for money and expensive stuff bursted into the kid's house and massacred the parents, I can't believe the girl is alive and well though...
A few days later, Yuki hears about people wanting her to be taken to the orphanage, so she panics and runs as fast as she could away from them. She arrives at a cliff, and she could feel a burning sensation, to take her own life.
She sat down, looking down, thinking that these would be her last moments on earth. Before she could commit such a terrifying act on herself, a feminine voice called her out.
Yuki turned behind, looked up and saw a girl her age.
While she is remembering right now all of those terrible memories, she can't help but smile when she remembers her face. The girl had short light brown hair, freckles on her cheeks but had a very gentle presence.
– You know, a child like you should not even think about jumping down this cliff. She said with a soft playful voice.
– W-Who are you?...
– I am Kanemoto Yuka... you seem to not have much friends, do you want me to stay with you?
Yuki's eyes glimmer a bit but she nods, and the girl sits along her. Yuka then says assuringly:
– You can explain to me everything...
