The ability to gain anything was absurd and exposing it to the world would put a pretty big target on my head it would be better to keep it hidden but the issue with that is explaining how I'm able to use so many quirks which would put a target on my head from both the villains and heroes which would be a major inconvenience also having to look out for myself at all times which led me to the best option and that was to tell half the truth which was that my quirk would grant me a random temporary quirk until deactivation and I could say its stamina based so I can make an excuse to make sure they cant find I can currently use only 2 abilities with that plan set I went down stairs to tell mom and dad
"MOM, DAD" I yelled while running down stairs
"Oh what's the matter bud" asked my dad
"I awakened my quirk" I said brimming with fake excitement
"That's great news shinji well head to the doctor in a little bit to go get it registered" my mother said with a wide smile
"Awesome " I yelled

After I got dressed and we got ready to go I ran to the car rushing them both while yelling with joy the entire time till we got in the car
You never realize how hard it is to act as kid till you have to honestly I felt a little embarrassed acting like that the entire time
I stared out the window the entire time on the way there enjoying the view of the city it was nice view no matter how many times I saw it
when we finally arrived at the hospital and we entered the waiting room while my father walked up to the front desk to sing me in
"are you excited" my mother asked
"yep" I said with a big smile
I was little nervous if My plan would work or not but hopefully all would go well and I could go on with life
"Shinji ikari" called out a nurse
she brought us to an normal hospital room we sat there waiting a bit more till the doctor came in
"I'm doctor Simon pleasure to meet you" he said with empty face "says your here to register a quirk"
"yes our son awakened his quirk today" my father said with great pride
"is that so"he said in a monotone voice "follow me"
we followed him to a large door he opened it and it was a large room with a small observatory to the side "follow me Mr and Mrs ikari" he said leading them into the observatory
"Now the shinji please use your quirk on the dummy in the middle of the room" he said over the microphone
I put heat palm in the ability slot and activated it I looked at my hands as they started to heat up after they were done heating up they looked like they were glowing
I put on confused and panicked look so that way it would seem like I was freaking out
"what's the matter shinji" the doctor asked
"when my quirk first manifested this didn't happen" I said trying to make it sound like I was on the verge of crying
"you can deactivate your quirk shinji" he said like this had happened before " what happened the first time you activated your quirk"
"I lifted a pencil in my room from a distance" I said still trying sound like a panicked kid
"could you activate your quirk again from me shinji" he said in a confused tone
I slotted in low gravity instead of heat palm and created a zone around the dummy in the room after activating a small little bubble formed and slowly grew and till it enveloped the entire area around the dummy but as it stayed there I felt my self growing tired and weak I started to tumble as my eye lids began to close and then I blacked out

I woke up to the ceiling of a hospital room as I looked around I saw my parents rush to my side to make sure I was okay
"Shinji how are you feeling, are you hurt, are you hungry" my mother asked as she bombarded me with questions with a face filled with panic yet it looked relive
"I'm fine mom" I said trying to calm her down "what happened to me" i asked them
"The doctor said you passed out from exhaustion" my father said to me
"how long was I out for?" I asked him
"around an hour or so" he said
that's weird I was full of energy before i used low gravity
[ The host does not have a separate form of energy so all ability's use the host stamina as an energysource] the system popped and showed me this notification
well that's a major draw back then again as the saying goes"everything comes with a price" while I was caught in thought the doctor walked in
"well we have a rough idea about how your quirk works shinji" the doctor said like he hadn't slept in days "your quirk appears to manifest as random quirk every time you activated and it only disappears after you deactivate it it also appears that the more powerful the quirk the more stamina it drains from you"
wow that's right on the dot I'm impressed he figured all that out from just the two abilities I showed plus the fake one I said I used put that's not the point it means that my plan to disguise the system went of without any issues other then the fact I passed out
"well anyhow have you decide what to name your quirk" asked doctor Simon
"Yep, I've decided to name my quirk 'Manifest' " I said with great pride
"alright well we have everything we need so you guys are free to leave" the doctor said

we were on our way out of the hospital when I got a notification from the system

well the parkour and acrobatics was useful but the rest of seemed useless in a life or death situation but honestly it was nice to have this as a boost to my agility and this could probably go really well with some martial arts so I have to start thinking about that while I was thinking my mother asked me a question
"are you ready for school next week shinji" she said with a smile
"what" I said
I forgot I still have to attend school I'm a kid again I have to there and spend 7 long hours listing to someone tell me something and worst of all I have to socialize with a bunch of kids I don't know and I have to act like I'm enjoying the games there gonna force me to play
"yep" I said lying straight through my teeth I don't want to spend 8 years waiting to do anything cool this I gonna be hell for me
we arrived home 30 minutes later and I went upstairs to my room to get some sleep while preparing I was think on how to prepare myself to go to school again but maybe it won't be that bad then again recess is a thing so that's pretty good but besides that I need to start some endurance training as well as figuring out which martial arts I wanna go into well those are tomorrow's problems it bed time
