Chapter 190 - Chapter 190: No Trump Card Left? No.

At this moment, Lucas had been forced into a desperate situation where he could only defend passively.

Amid wild laughter, Blood Butcher Superman shattered Lucas's defenses once again and kicked him straight upward.

His scarlet eyes flared brilliantly, and two terrifying Rage Death Beams shot out, slamming brutally into Lucas's body.

The immense force pushed him upward without pause, as if he were riding a rocket. In less than a minute, he was blasted clear of the ocean surface.

Blood Butcher Superman followed closely, his eyes continuously firing Rage Death Beams.

The two ascended rapidly into the sky, while Lucas could only grit his teeth and endure.

If not for the reinforcement from the Space Stone and the Eternal Flame, even with his current Pseudo–Super Saiyan state, Lucas would never have been able to withstand those Rage Death Beams.

After all, this was a fusion of a Kryptonian + a Red Lantern Ring + a Lantern Beast.

Its power far exceeded any opponent Lucas had ever encountered.

For the first time, he truly experienced what it meant to fight while being completely overwhelmed.

Yet—

Wasn't this exactly the kind of battle he had once longed for?

In the end, the twin Death Beams forced Lucas higher and higher, until he reached low Earth orbit.

"Come on!" Blood Butcher Superman roared with laughter.

"Weren't you arrogant just now?!"

With a punch, he smashed Lucas away again, immediately chasing after him and kicking him once more.

Before long, the two reached the Moon.

Lucas crashed onto its surface, smashing into a crater and sending rocks flying in every direction as cracks spread across the lunar ground.

"Get up! Fight!" Blood Butcher Superman hovered in the air, not attacking for the moment, simply watching Lucas.

Lucas slowly rose from the rubble.

By now, all his clothing had been completely destroyed, revealing his powerful, battle-scarred body.

As energy surged through him, his wounds began healing at a visible rate.

Despite being so thoroughly suppressed, the light in Lucas's eyes had not dimmed.

He began gathering his ki again—but then seemed to realize something.

Abruptly, he dispersed it and withdrew from the Pseudo–Super Saiyan state.

At this point, the boost from that form could no longer turn the tide, and more importantly, its energy consumption was far too high.

Remaining in that state prevented him from using his other abilities freely.

"What?" Blood Butcher Superman smirked.

"Given up?"

In the airless void of space, Lucas suddenly raised both hands.

The Eternal Flame ignited in his palms.

In the next instant, Lucas vanished.

Blood Butcher Superman's pupils constricted. He raised his hand just in time to catch a fist that appeared suddenly from his left.

But in the blink of an eye, Lucas disappeared again.

This time, Blood Butcher Superman turned and caught another punch.

"Sudden. Strange. But useless," Blood Butcher Superman sneered.

"You're too slow."

His eyes flared red again—but Lucas vanished once more.

This time, he reappeared several hundred meters away.

"Whatever tricks you have left," Blood Butcher Superman folded his arms confidently,

"use them all."

Lucas frowned.

The situation was grim. In raw energy, he truly could not match Blood Butcher Superman now.

Even with technique, the opponent's energy density was simply too overwhelming to break through.

It was like holding scissors against someone wearing full metal armor.

Yet Lucas felt no despair.

Because on this Earth, the Ancient One still existed.

The fact that she had not intervened meant one of two things:

Either Blood Butcher Superman would never succeed in destroying humanity or the planet—

Or Lucas was destined to defeat him.

Since Lucas had not yet touched the realm of a true Super Saiyan, then the answer was clear.

It was the latter.

At that thought, Lucas's eyes flashed blue.

The space around him rippled gently, like the surface of water.

He reached forward as if plunging his hand into a liquid surface—and pulled out a glowing blue cube.

The Tesseract.

"The Tesseract?" Blood Butcher Superman frowned.

Lucas tightened his grip.

Fine cracks instantly spread across the cube.

Pale blue energy began leaking from the fractures.

In the silent vacuum of space, Blood Butcher Superman somehow heard the sound of something shattering.

In the next moment, a massive surge of spatial energy erupted—

Yet it was forcibly restrained within Lucas's palm.

When he opened his hand, an irregular, oval-shaped light-blue gem lay within it.

The sheer pressure of the spatial energy made Lucas inwardly marvel—

good thing he had not tried this recklessly before.

Sensing danger, Blood Butcher Superman's eyes blazed crimson as he fired his Death Beams, trying to sever Lucas's connection to the Space Stone.

Lucas raised his hand.

Space in front of him twisted slightly.

The crimson beams did not explode—

They were swallowed by space itself.

Behind the distortion, Lucas stood completely unharmed.

The Space Stone levitated from his palm, unraveling into strands of blue-white light that flowed into his hand.

Moments later, the gem reappeared, embedded on the back of Lucas's left hand, radiating a faint blue glow.

"That's impossible!" Blood Butcher Superman shouted in disbelief.

"How could you gain the Space Stone's recognition?!"

Many beings across the universe had wielded Infinity Stones—

But none had ever truly integrated one.

Lucas felt an almost limitless torrent of energy pour into his body.

Thanks to his previous transformations, his body showed no resistance and began absorbing the power directly.

Every cell, every particle drank in the primal energy of space.

Soon, his cells reached saturation.

Yet—

Deep within his body, a special group of cells continued absorbing the energy.

They even began dividing rapidly.

"S Cells?" Lucas raised an eyebrow.

The key to becoming a Super Saiyan lay in S Cells.

Rage was merely one trigger—not the only one.

All of this occurred in less than a second.

Seeing that his Death Beams were ineffective, Blood Butcher Superman charged forward, preparing for close combat.

Buzz.

Space fluctuated.

Blood Butcher Superman's body froze in midair.

In the next instant, he forcibly broke free with brute energy and continued his attack.

But when his fist swung—

Lucas's body became like a reflection in water, an illusion in a mirror.

No matter how Blood Butcher Superman attacked—

He could not touch him.
