"Oh you look so handsome now Haru-kun!" Goei said with a smile.
There stood Haru with his new cloths and haircut all courtesy to Koukin's dad's credit card that he loaned her. His hair was trimmed up so it wouldn't be all over the place, it was still kept long but now you can see his face better and it stops just above his shoulder. The cloths he now wears is a blue shirt with a black sleeveless vest with many pockets and black cargo pants with pockets too and new shoes. All in all he looked good. Haru actually like his new cloths.
"Thank you so much Mama Goei, Haru never had new cloths before." He said.
"I know dear, we'll have to get you more cloths soon but for now you should be find. Let's find something to eat." Goei held out her hand and Haru took it.
"So Haru-kun, what would you like yo eat?" Goei asks.
"Anything would be good, Haru learned not to be picky about food early on… keeps you alive longer." He said.
"But you don't have that life anymore Haru-kun and you'll never will. Your with us now and you'll never be alone again." She reinsured him.
"Haru knows… just… it feels like all of this is a dream… and that Haru will wake up back in a gutter or dumpster alone and with no hope." He said sadly.
Haru was suddenly engulfed in a strong hug by Goei as she ran her fingers through his hair.
"I wish I could of save you sooner from that nightmare life of yours, to spare you from the horrors you've seen and the things you had to do to survive… but I can't. All I can do is help you through your pain and show you the love and care you've been without for so long. And the others will do the same as well, they'll show you a whole world of wonderful things you've been denied." Goei whispers hugging him close.
"… Really?" He asks.
"Of course."
Haru hugged back but didn't know how to feel, hope was such a fleeting thing for him for much of his life. He was always at the end of the totem pole barely getting through the day. And now he has a chance for a life away from the streets, to actually have happiness and feel save. But at the same time he fears of losing it was very strong, what if it'll all go away when he feels comfortable and he be right back on the streets, he thinks he might lose it for good. He decides to take it slow and thinks of every move he'll make, no sense into relaxing or being careless now.
"Can we go back to Koukin's home Mama Goei, Haru has to ask Laufey and Ignir something very important." Haru asks.
"Well I'm not sure if they're back yet but we can wait for them. Let's head home dear, I'll whip you up something good to eat."
So the two headed back to Koukin's house and as Goei expected, the old couple weren't home yet so they decided to have lunch and watch some T.V. now Haru had seen some T.V. before and seen some shows but never knew there was like hundreds of them on the air. Goei was going through each channel telling him which shows were good and which to never watch till he was older… which was kind of a mood point since he's older than her. So now they were watching a cartoon show together about some cat chasing a mouse. About a few hours later Hakufu, Koukin, Gakushuu, and Ryomou enter the house.
"Hey everyone we're home!" Hakufu shouted.
"Geez, do you even know the phrase 'indoor voice' bimbo?" Ryomou said.
"Who asks you?" She huffed.
"Um, hello everyone, hope you had a nice day at school." Haru came from the living room with a smile.
"Hey Haru-kun!" Hakufu came up to him and gave him a big hug which he returns.
"Well look who got himself a new look, got to say you clean up nicely Haru-san." Gakushuu said.
"You look very handsome Haru-kun, I like your new haircut." Ryomou said making him blush.
"Yeah that style fits your whole 'Tinkerer' thing man, so I'm guessing Aunt Goei took you out for a bit?" Koukin asks.
"Indeed, Mama Goei took me to get a haircut and new cloths." He said.
"Mama Goei?" The others asks together.
"Why yes, I became his mother today since I believed he needed one to look after him. And what better than an actual mother right?" Goei came from the living room.
"Your hardly a mom to begin with." Hakufu whispers.
Suddenly Hakufu was flipped on her belly while on Goei's lap as she started spanking her. The others just watch on the sidelines with a "what the hell" expression on their face.
"Now that's not a nice thing to say to your own mother, you need to respect your parents, don't want to give Haru-kun a bad attitude like you do to me." She said with a smile still spanking her.
"I get it! I get it! Just stop it already!" She says feeling the sting of the slaps.
"Is this normal behavior for families to do Ryomou?" Haru asks her.
"Maybe in this family, perhaps you should have chosen a different family Haru-kun because this one might not be the best pick." She replied with a sweat drop.
"But Haru really like Goei, she's been a very good mom to Haru so far."
"You never have any bad things to say to anyone huh Haru-san?" Koukin said.
"Well no not really." He shrugged.
"Gah! Great now I won't be able to sit down for hours." Hakufu groaned trying to sooth her butt.
"And your punishment isn't done yet, you're going to help me get these last few chores done right now." Goei said taking her by the collar of her shirt.
"Wait, why me?!"
"Because I said so now move your bruise rump before I spank you again." She said and the two left.
"… well… that was something." Gakushuu said.
"You don't know the half of it, so you guys want anything to eat or drink?" Koukin asks.
"Sure I'll have something if you're offering." Gakushuu said.
"Just water for me." Ryomou said.
"And anything for you Haru-san?" Koukin asks.
"Haru ok, don't need anything right now."
"Then I get the drinks, you can come to the kitchen to get what you want Gakushuu-san." Koukin said and Gakushuu nodded following him to the kitchen.
"Want to sit outside with me Haru-kun; it's a nice enough day." Ryomou asks.
"Ok." He said and the two went outside to sit on the porch.
"How was your day Ryomou?" Haru asks sitting next to her.
"Eh ok, school and such is what it is though Saji-ecchi seems to disappeared of the face of the earth. We can't get in touch with him and he has some questions we need answering." Ryomou said.
"Hope he's ok, say what does ecchi mean?"
"It's an honorific suffixes meaning pervert."
"… yeah that seems to fit him." He said which made her laugh.
"Hey Ryomou… you think we can talk… you know, get to know each other."
"You want to know more about me?" She asks.
"Well yeah, your Haru friend and Haru wants to know more about Ryomou. If you don't mind that is?"
"Actually, I wouldn't mind at all as I want to know about you as well Haru-kun. So what would you like to know?"
So Ryomou told Haru about herself such as her favorite foods, where she lives, a little about her family and other details like that. And Haru told her about his life as a street rat and what he done. Ryomou was shocked and amazed that Haru actually roamed the world a few times seeing Europe, Asia, America, and Africa to just name a few. But if you have a lifespan like Haru you would have the time to see the world. He also told her he seen many of the inventions that made what technology is today and some of the most world renown historical events that took place. He didn't go into detail of how he had to survive as he was not comfortable about talking to anyone about that and she understood so she quickly changed the subject.
"So I see you had a good day, what with new cloths and a haircut." Ryomou said.
"Yeah Haru really likes Haru's new cloths, Haru never had anything new before so Haru is very excited!" He said with a smile.
Ryomou smiled at his happiness, to her getting new cloths seems just an ordinary thing but with Haru it was like charismas present. But it also made her sad that he was denied so many things she herself doesn't consider a blessing such as new cloths, someone to talk to, or even an education. But that got her thinking, Haru seems to have regular intelligent like math and reading skills and that might seem impossible for someone like him if he never went to a school before.
"Hey Haru-kun, have you ever been to a school before?"
"Of course, when Haru was showing Hakufu where Nanyo was the first time." He answered.
"No, I mean have you ever been to school like went to one for an education?"
"No… Haru never went to school… Haru had to sneak into different schools to learn basic things Haru knows today but always gets kicked out for trespassing… so Haru knows some things but still doesn't know a lot like you or anyone else." He said with a sigh.
"Oh… sorry to hear that… so what do you know?"
"Basic math and reading but can't write and doesn't know any science. Most of what Haru knows is usually through the street life Haru had, like how to survive, find a good place to sleep, and tell when someone is lying to you… most of the time. But Haru has made it this far so that's something." He shrugged.
"And you were able to survive a life style like that for over four hundred years; I don't know how you did it."
"Sometimes Haru doesn't know either… sometimes Haru wanted to end it… just to escape the pain of it all."
"And I'm glad you didn't because I wouldn't have met you and I really like you Haru-kun." She said taking him in her arms and giving him a hug.
"You do? But how come? Haru isn't human like you or normal." He asks with a little blush on his cheeks being so close to her.
"You may not be human but that doesn't matter to me, you have a good heart and a wonderful personality that makes you who you are. You cared that I was hurt and went to see me and you even saved my life a few times, despite how you did it nor do I care. And even though you led a cruel life you still kept your sweetness meaning you are very strong in will and heart. And Ukitsu-san was right, you are cute." This made his blush deepen.
"Haru cute?"
"Indeed you are and your new haircut just makes you even cuter or would you prefer I call you handsome?" She said smirking at his shyness.
"Um… well… Haru… doesn't mind either way… and… Haru likes Ryomou too."
"Really? May I ask what about me you like?" She said finding teasing him was fun.
"Haru knows that she is kind and has a good heart, that Ryomou is very strong in will and body. She may know pain but hasn't stopped her from being her. You have shown to care for those close to you but have a leveled head on things. Ryomou is also very pretty." Haru quickly covers his mouth after he said that.
"… You really think I'm pretty?" She asks with a small blush.
"Well… yeah… you are very pretty to Haru… and Haru likes your eyes cause they're real pretty too."
"You mean my right eye."
"No, Haru likes both your eyes. Ryomou has two different eyes like Haru that makes her unique and they look cool too."
"I… no one ever mentioned them ever being cool or pretty… especially my left eye."
"It's true, to Haru at least." He gave her a kind smile.
Ryomou looked at the boy she was hugging floored by what he said, not because he said it but the fact she could tell he wasn't spewing words like that on the whims. Haru wasn't known to sweet talk like Saji so it hit her close to the heart. Haru may be a bit naïve, has childish mannerism, and he can't make a proper lie to save himself but he was kind, sweet, pretty smart at times and cute as hell. Sure he doesn't have Saji's looks or his coy words to woo her to on her feet and that what makes him better than Saji. He could have said she has a nice figure or that she was the most beautiful girl but instead he comments about her eyes being pretty and that she is kind. Words she rarely hears at all. His innocence and truth in his words and act just makes him so… desirable, and that makes her feel confused with her own feelings for him. Even though he is 486 years old and was around her age in human years but he still have the mentality of a preteen or a child and yet she feels as though she wants to have something more with him, deeper than friendship. As much as it pains her to accept it, she also had similar feelings towards Saji before but her feelings for Haru were… different, like she knew he was the best choice for her. She can't explain it nor can she rid herself of these strong feelings for Haru.
Haru was the kind of guy with a gold heart, a sweet personality, loyal to friends, and has this aura around him that makes her feel good and safe. But she is also trying to fight back with her feelings to him, with what might happen to her soon she might not get to spend a lot of time with him and doesn't want to break his heart if she dies. The destiny towards her and her generation was cruel, twisted, and all around fucked up. She doesn't want to drag him into the life she is facing; he already has his hands full with his own problems so adding to the list will only make things hard for him.
"Ryomou, are you ok?" Haru's voice broke her deep thoughts.
"Huh?" She looks at him and saw he had a worried face on.
"You were silent for some time now… Haru thought Haru said something that made you angry at Haru."
"What, no of course not Haru-kun. You didn't say anything bad… it's just that… well no one has ever complemented the things you said before. I've been called babe, hot stuff, sexy, and every sentence that describes the guys want to just fuck me… but you actually pointed out things I consider flaw and yet you call pretty… and I want to say thank you Haru-kun."
"You're welcome Ryomou, and Haru doesn't see them as flaw but is a part of you that makes Ryomou what she is and Haru will always see you as that. Haru cares for Ryomou for the fact you actually care for Haru… even if Haru isn't perfect or anything like that."
"You may not be perfect but that doesn't mean your anything less than a great guy Haru-kun. Like you see my flaws as I do, so do your flaws make who you are and some of them weren't your fault to begin with… and further more Haru-kun… I…I really like you… a lot." Haru's eyes widened when he heard that.
"… you… do?" He asks, being very confused.
Ryomou saw his confuse face so instead of speaking she lean in and gave him a soft kiss on the lips like Hakufu did last night. Haru eyes bulge out from the shock, he couldn't believe it, Ryomou was actually kissing him and boy does it feel good. Her soft lips on his was like a taste of heaven. It lasted about a minute before she pulled back; Ryomou had a nice shade of pink of her face but couldn't help but smile at Haru's reaction. He was red as a tomato and was stuttering like crazy, obvious that he enjoy the kiss which made her feel good.
"That… um… it… was… kiss… very…" Haru was struggling to find the right words for this situation.
"I see you like that… that makes me happy. I want to let you know that I really care for you… but at the same time I'm not sure how deep my feelings for you are… the last time I felt like this… it didn't end well for me." She sighed.
"… Haru knows the feeling." He said sadly.
"You do?"
"… Yeah… Haru once thought Haru found someone that cared for Haru a lot… but she never cared… she only pretended to like Haru cause she lost a bet… ever since then… Haru is afraid to get close to anyone."
Now that just boiled her blood, how can anyone treat Haru like that? She knew people can be cruel and soulless but to do something like that to Haru? She made a mental note to find this girl one day and show her what happens when you mess with him. Ryomou hear a soft sniffle coming from Haru so she brought him closer in the hug laying his head on her breast trying to sooth his sadness. Again, Haru was so confused at the situation he was in, not only does Hakufu proclaim she deeply cares for him now Ryomou is in the same boat. He couldn't understand how both of them see him like that. He wasn't a looker nor charming and he was short too, if anything wouldn't they see him like a brother? But above all he was afraid of these feelings he is having towards them, he never experience them before so for all he knows there might be something wrong with him.
"Well isn't this a cozy scene?" Both Ryomou and Haru jumped at the voice.
They turned to see Gakushuu and Koukin with the drinks just smirking at the scene in front of them.
"H-h-how long have Gakushuu and Koukin been standing there?" Haru asks.
"We just got here; it looks like you two were having a bonding moment." Koukin asks.
"Yes we were, so what took you guys so long to get the drinks?" Ryomou asks still hugging Haru.
"Eh Hakufu was throwing a fit about doing chores so we had to stop her from jumping out the window." Koukin sighs.
"… you're joking… right?" The two just shook their heads.
"And she's supposed to be the Sho Haou not a little whiner… sometimes I wonder if the fates really do like to screw with our lives even more."
"She may have her unusual tendency but she is in fact one of The Three Lords, we all seen it firsthand." Gakushuu said.
"The Three Lords?" Haru asks.
"Yes, The Three lords are one the strongest Fighters ever to come from the war. Hakufu-san is one of them; the other two are Sousou Moutoku and Ryuubi Gentoku. Both of them are leaders of their schools. Now I don't really know them personally but history said both were powerful and influenceable leaders that made a great impact to the war. And like Hakufu-san they also have Dragon Spirits within them. They could be but many of the opponents we might face in the upcoming Tournament." Gakushuu said.
"Tournament?"
"The Big Fighters Tournament is where all the schools fight to raise their power and be top school of Kanto." Ryomou said.
"Is fighting all there is for Fighters?" Haru asks.
"So says our name Haru-kun but we are trying to change our fate so we can escape it once and for all."
"Then Haru will help, it might take some time since Haru needs to learn to be a dragon but Haru will do whatever it takes to save friends." He said with confidence.
"Then you have reached you decision then child?"
The others turn and saw Ignir and Laufey were standing there.
"Oh hello Laufey-obaachan, Ignir-ojjisan how was your day?" Gakushuu asks.
"We were checking on a little project we are doing and it is moving along nicely." Ignir said.
"And what project is that?" Koukin asks.
"All in good time, so young master have you made your decision?" Ignir asks Haru.
"Yes, please help Haru control Haru's power and become a dragon like Haru's parents."
"Very good, and if it would please the rest of you, we can also train you all for the upcoming battle against our enemies and your own as well." Laufey said.
"Can you really?" Koukin asks.
"Granted we can't expose you to all the training for only high level beings can master them but yes. We can show and train you all in basic techniques and forms that might be considered low level to some but can outmatch many humans and the Dread Guards." She said.
"When can we start?" Ryomou asks.
"Tomorrow morning if you like, now then child here is something for you." Laufey took out two books.
The first book looked old with a fading red hard cover and yellow stain pages from years pass. It was pretty big and heavy. It had the words The Dragon's Path on the cover in black letters. The other was a smaller book with a black cover with silver writing on it that said The Dragon Index.
"What are these?" Haru asks.
"These are the books that will help you learn our species and the powers we hold. The Dragon's Path is an instruction manual of sorts that tells you about the powers, abilities, Mana, and the Dragon Magic we can use. The Dragon Index tells what type dragons there are, what the Elemental Breaths are, the Biology and Anatomy, and so much more. Reading these books will be part of your first steps in learning to be a dragon. And we'll teach you our language and history of your family and species." Ignir said.
"Cool! Haru can't wait!" Haru said excitedly.
"Good to see you have a great interest in your heritages young master for you'll need to know everything in order to defeat your enemies."
"Speaking off, can you tell us more about them?" Koukin asks.
"Soon we will, but here's something you need to know now. Be wary of those you meet for Haru's enemies can be in the flesh of humans. They can look like any gender, any age, any race, and will act upon said form to fool and lure you into your death." Ignir said in a serious tune.
"We understand the seriousness of the situation, after what happen yesterday we know see they true danger of an enemy with real power." Gakushuu said.
"Good to see your all taking this seriously. Now then where are Goei and Hakufu haven't seen them since this morning." Laufey asks.
"Oh Hakufu and Mama Goei are in the house doing chores." Haru replied.
"Very good… wait, did you say Mama Goei?" She asks.
"Yes, Mama Goei is now Haru's new mom. She said Haru needs a mom and so she would be Haru's. She even got Haru new cloths and a haircut, see." He stood up Ryomou's hug and showed them.
"Indeed you are right and might I ad you look dashing in your new cloths young one. Perhaps Goei will be a good mother for you, she does care for you as if you were her own. Oh, before I forget, I would like to have a word with you in private Haru." Ignir said.
"Ok." Ignir led Haru inside the house so the two can talk.
"Is everything alright Laufey-obaachan?" Koukin asks.
"Everything is fine; Ignir just needs to speak with the young one about a matter that might interest him that's all. Now I would like to know more about this 'war' you're all in. As you have heard, Haru wishes to change your fates but you must realize something first. Haru can only do so much, as a dragon he can change your fates but it is you that must take the steps to make it possible. As they say 'it takes two to dance the Tango' a human saying I believe. He has already shifted the outcomes of many things but it is you that must make the final play for it to change." Laufey said.
"You… you mean he can alter our destinies?" Gakushuu asks surprised.
"He can but you must also change it as well, with both sides helping the chains of the past will finally be broken."
"Then tell us what we have to do." Koukin asks with a serious tune in his voice.
"It's all in the knowledge of the past and the decisions of the present, the main thing is that you all must do is make the choices to help not only you but Haru change this doom fate."
"But it can't be that simple?" Ryomou asks.
"The notion is very simple however the action of it will be trying indeed, but with Haru at your side it will be possible for it to be real. By the way, do any of you know where Ukitsu lives?" Laufey asks.
"Not really, we know the school she attends but that's about it besides the fighting skills she has. But why do you want to know where Ukitsu-san lives Laufey-obaasan?" Koukin asks.
"I need to speak with her along with Hakufu and Ryomou here about something very important that concerns Haru."
"Me?" Ryomou pointed to herself.
"Yes, but I would like to hold it off till the other two are here as well. I don't like to repeat myself. So when it's convenient to all of you I would like to say a few words."
"Laufey-obaasan, have by any change seen Saji-san lately?" Gakushuu asks.
"Not since he left last night, why is he missing?"
"He has the tendency to be gone for days and not tell anyone and he chosen the worst time to do it. The Big Fighters Tournament is going to start soon and we need him."
"The what?"
"It's an event for all Fighters to raise in rank and become top school of all of Kanto." Ryomou said.
"… why is it that everything you humans do it constitutes for a tournament of some kind? Weither it be sports, food, and even make-up? I could never understand why the Dragon God finds so much interest in your species like he does." She said rubbing her eyes in mild annoyance.
"Sorry that humans are such a pain to you." Koukin said kinda hurt by her words.
"Oh pardon my words young ones, I tend to speak what I'm thinking without knowing it at the time. Please forgive my rudeness. I have nothing against humans personally but it's just that your species has done and created some pretty stupid things over the years so sometimes it makes me wonder." Laufey explains.
"… Point taken." Gakushuu agreed.
"Wait, who's the Dragon God?" Koukin asks.
"The Dragon God is the most powerful dragon of our whole species, for he is the only dragon to master and control all 16 Elemental Breaths, use Dragon Magic to its fullest potential, and the abilities we can use. He is a wise, benevolent, intelligent, and most respected one of us all. He is also known as an Eternal, a being that has lived for billions to quite possibly trillions of years, they have the power to create worlds or destroy reality. Their powers are said to be beyond mortal comprehension, even to a god. And you can't kill them unless you're an Eternal too. The Dragon Gold helps make worlds and realities with the other Eternals and populates that reality with dragons and teaches them everything of our kind's powers, ways, and life. And if they choose to accept it then their lives will be full of wonder, excitement, and happiness. But for those that wish another life then our God will respect their wishes and let them live the way they want. Our God doesn't care if we follow his ways; he just wants the best for us and thinks his teachings will do that but if dragons don't want to then he won't push them." Laufey explains.
"Whoa, never knew you guys had a god and by what you say about him he must be something else." Ryomou said.
"If only you knew… he is indeed a being we can trust with our lives. In fact, with the consult of the other Eternals, he has protected many species lives in the past. You see, each sentient being in existence has an Eternal of some kind that watches over them but in order to not destroy the balance they can only help when it's at its critical. But a few of the Eternals including the Dragon God found loop poles within the balance itself that makes it possible for the Eternals to not only help their species more but others with the help of the Eternal of the species they wish to help. He has done so much… even after the civil war." Laufey said the last part seldom.
"What civil war?" Ryomou asks.
"… A tale for another time."
Before they could answer both Ignir and Haru came back and Haru look like he was in deep thought. This made the others besides Laufey worried.
"Haru-san, is something wrong?" Gakushuu asks.
"… everything's… ok… just tired really. Haru is going to turn in early. Um, goodnight everyone." Haru then excused himself to his room.
"Goodnight, but it's only five, guess that fight with Crnobog really wore him out more than we thought… unless… Ignir Ojjisan-san, what did you say to Haru-san?" Koukin asks.
"I merely told him a few things to him he must considered very carefully in order to understand our ways and his role." He said calmly.
"Let me guess, you won't tell us until Haru-kun is ready to say, am I right?" Ryomou said with a slight frown.
"Bingo."
"Man you guys are very cryptic, are all dragons like that?" Koukin asks.
"No, only us old folk really… besides the Chaotic Dragons but that's just how they work." Laufey waved it off.
"Goddammit mom, that really sucked! How can you do that day in and day out?" Hakufu groaned loudly as she and Goei came walking in.
"It's something I learned to deal with as my daily routine which one day you'll have to learn as well." Goei said.
"Fat chance of that. Oh hi Laufey-obaachan, Ignir-ojjisan when did you two come back?" Hakufu asks.
"Not too long ago, I see we're having a 'daughter and mother' bonding deal I'm speculating?" Ignir asks with a smirk.
"More like a punishment. If I'm done, I'm going to spend some time with Haru-kun. Where is he?"
"In his run, he said he was going to bed early." Koukin said.
"Oh the poor dear must still need rest, But he should eat something too so I'll whip him up something simple." Goei said as she went to the kitchen.
"Wow, Goei-san really is being a good mother." Gakushuu said.
"Too bad she's a lousy one to me." Hakufu grumbled.
"Now don't say that." Koukin tried to say but Hakufu just went to Haru's room.
"What a baby." Ryomou rolled her eyes.
"How interesting this will turn out, well in any case I think it's time to—"
"HARU-KUN!" Hakufu's voice ringed all over the house.
"Hakufu, what's wrong?!" Koukin asks and a few seconds later she came running back.
"Haru-kun is gone!" Hakufu said looking worried.
"What?!" Everyone said as they rushed to his room.
Once every got to the room it was indeed confirmed that Haru was gone. His new cloths were laying neatly on the bed and the window opened.
"See, I just open the door and he wasn't in here and I checked all in his room! Where did he go, did someone took him?" Hakufu asks in slight fear.
"Now let's not panic, maybe he's somewhere else in the house. Let's split up." Gakushuu suggested and everyone agreed.
But it seemed to be a failure as there was no sight of Haru anywhere in the house. The others regrouped back in the living room where Goei was waiting for answers.
"What's all the ruckus?"
"Miss Sonsaku, Haru is missing." Ryomou said.
"What?! But how can this be, he just went to his room right so how can he be missing?" She was now in full mother panic mode.
"We don't know, his new cloths are sitting on his bed but his satchel is gone too…;you think he left on purpose?" Koukin asks.
"But why and why take off his cloths?"
"He must had a spare in his satchel but as to why… how about we asked the only two in the room that's not worried about him right now." Ryomou turned to the old couple who were sitting near the table looking calm.
"Very clever indeed, yes we know the reason but not his destination." Ignir said.
"It was something you told him, what was it?" Gakushuu asked a little rudely.
"I cannot but none of you should be worried, he is only doing a small task and will come home soon."
"You better not be lying or so help me I'll—"
*WHAM!*
Hakufu was silenced by Laufey's cane.
"Now don't start anything that's not worth it. Like we said, the child will be back soon so just relax." She said.
The others looked at eachother before nodding but at the moment didn't want to be near the couple so they went into another room.
"You think we're doing the right thing? Shouldn't we do it instead of him?" Ignir asks, looking worried.
"… It needs to be confirmed… even if I don't like it either." She said with a tiring sigh.
Haru was walking down the streets in his other pair of clothes, which was a white teared up shirt, black shorts, and sandals he had in his satchel. Haru had to do something quick. Since he needs to train to control his powers and become a dragon he needs all the concentration he needs so he is heading to some light post with paper on them. Now he made these papers for his little "career" he does. In order to get money he uses his tinkering skills to fix people's things like watches, phones, tools, even motor bikes. And the only way for him to get business is to posts signs of his skills around town. Now since he can't write, he cut out words from old reading materials and glued them on paper and stuck it on light poles saying who he is and that he could fix anything you give him for a fair price. Now 80% of the time is where he gets his money, little as is, and at times it works while other times… not so great. But now that he needs to train he figures it is best to take them down for now till he has all this craziness under control. So far he has already got about half of the papers down.
"Let's see, the others should be close by. Better hurry, the others are probably worried about Haru by now." He said to himself.
So he quicken his pace to get the rest when suddenly someone grabs him from behind. Haru yelped in surprise and started thrashing around trying to get loose. But then a hand with a cloth on it came over his mouth and nose. He breathed in an unknown smell that was making him feel dizzy and he was blacking out fast. And before he went out completely he heard these last words.
"Finally I got you." Said the voice.
