Cherreads

first steps

Large masses of dark gray clouds began to melt and merge a doam of death and solitude. Rain bombarded the ground threatening to flood the depressed land as the wind howled in pain from the attack. It was like mother nature itself was giving up.

A prison painted as a school stud tall and threatening as students walked like prisoners on trile. It was like all colour and hope was drained from this solitude confinement it was like the walls itself was threatening detention.

No life. No hope. No joy. Nothing!

Was it really like this or is it just how this lost sole saw it or as all the teachers said a troubled boy or worse a failure and a discrase. Well those words that was once a whisper now screamed in his head like his own brain was giving up on him. Yet he wasn't always like this he was once like any other tean until his mam died and it was like his life turned upside it was like all joy and colour left had whent with her. He was alone, lost and only 14. His dad was no better all he would do is sleep cry and drink. So his only escape was a prison the government called a school.

Yet on one fateful day the life he wish he never had wouldn't just change for a day it would change for life.

It was just an ordinary Tuesday and he was sitting in an art classroom for lunch time detention and the art teacher with kind eyes walked over to him and handed him a canvas and paint and she said "let your emotions flow" he didn't know what she mentioned but he did it anyway and picked up the paint brush and placed it on the canvas and it was like magical sored through his nerves and it was like a switch whent off in his brain that he thought was switched off forever but now it was like it was ment to be.

The walls he once felt trapped in crumbled around him he finally saw the light the world was more vibrant than he saw once before. Faces that walked past him once blurred he now saw smiles that were painted on there faces and now the world that looked so gray now lit up like sky's of heaven was shining on him. Flowers bloomed and all the gray that once suffocated him was now destroyed.

A bee of light escaped from the clouds like the sun broke the shield that once built for protection but realy contained its true beauty as it healed the once destroyed land below.

There may be a big journey before him but at last he has found the light he thought disappeared a while ago.
