After the trio finished lunch, Lucas was about to take them to the backyard.
Cynthia pushed open the kitchen door and told Lucas that she had already had their clothes bought for them.
Cynthia handed them the clothes, and Jessie and James looked at the expensive clothes in their hands, feeling their silky texture.
They were so moved that tears streamed down their faces.
After they changed their clothes, Lucas led them to the backyard.
Cynthia, as usual, sat by the flowerbed, drinking the tea Gothorita had made for her while reading a book.
She really enjoyed this kind of life.
Lucas noticed that Gothorita wasn't standing by her side the whole time, like it did when making tea for him; instead, it had run off to play with Mime Jr..
Lucas took them on a tour of the Breeding House's backyard.
"Your main tasks are to help me wash the Pokémon boarded at the Breeding House, monitor their health, and then give me the compiled information."
Lucas led the way, speaking as he went.
Jessie and the others followed behind.
They looked at the backyard, filled with all sorts of Pokémon, and found it somewhat unbelievable.
"If we catch them and give them to Boss Sakaki—"
"Shh!"
"Don't say another word, Meowth!"
James and Meowth immediately covered Jessie's mouth.
Then they looked at Lucas nervously.
And at Cynthia, who was sitting not far away, reading a book.
James whispered something into Jessie's ear.
Jessie gave an embarrassed smile.
"I was just joking! Besides, the manager is so kind; as our benefactor, we definitely can't do that."
Team Rockets trio still had their own sense of morality.
James nodded.
Ignoring the actions of the trio behind him, Lucas continued to lead the way.
"For the vegetables, Medical herbs, and berries in the planting area, you need to make sure they aren't destroyed by wild Pokémon. Although the Breeding House's Pokémon are watching over them, you still need to be mindful of this."
"Also, in the Lake area, even though Azumarill and the Golduck family are watching over it, you still need to check if any Pokémon that can't swim accidentally drown."

Screams echoed throughout the backyard.
Cynthia put down her book and looked into the distance.
She shook her head helplessly.
Lucas nodded, satisfied, after receiving their assurances.
He exchanged a look with Gengar.
And they both chuckled to themselves.
Then, he sent the trio off to work.
Under the leadership of the strong ones.
Lucas walked with his hands behind his back, humming a tune, feeling incredibly happy.
Gengar floated beside Lucas, glancing sideways.
It mimicked Lucas, putting its small hands behind its back.
"Gengar—Gengar-Gengar?!"
It—it couldn't reach—
Lucas certainly wouldn't miss this opportunity to mock it.
In a fit of anger, Gengar used Heavy Slam.
"Paralyzed—paralyzed—"
Togetic, carrying Shauna and Mime Jr. in the sky nearby, was startled by the sight.
It quickly landed beside Lucas, helping him recover from the paralyzed state.
After playing with Gengar and the others for a while.
Lucas returned to Cynthia's side and sat down.
The next second, a small black hand held a teapot and poured him a cup of tea.
Lucas picked it up and took a sip.
Gothorita stood by, refilling Lucas's cup.
And also refilled Cynthia's teacup.
Cynthia looked at the tea in her cup, and the tea in Lucas's cup.
Suddenly, she felt hers wasn't as good.
"You seem to like them very much?"
Hearing Cynthia's sudden voice, Lucas paused.
Remembering something, Lucas smiled.
"Of course, because their nature isn't bad, and I can feel that they really like Pokémon."
Cynthia recalled the aura she felt from them in the kitchen at noon and nodded in agreement.
So her impression of them wasn't bad either.

Lucas didn't notice Cynthia's actions; instead, he continued to stare at Jessie and the others.
Aside from catching Pikachu, they were almost omnipotent.
He withdrew his gaze, took a sip of tea, and then looked at Cynthia.
He found that she had already lowered her head, looking at the book in her hands.
He gestured to Gothorita.
Gothorita ran back to the kitchen, took out the prepared dessert, and came back out.
Meanwhile, Lucas quietly gazed at Cynthia's profile, lost in thought.
Cynthia snapped out of her reading, glanced at Gothorita who had placed the dessert, and smiled, nodding in thanks.
She gently scooped a bite with a spoon.
She looked at Lucas and found him staring at her, lost in thought.
This guy, daydreaming again.
Cynthia shook her head helplessly; she didn't wake Lucas, but quietly ate her dessert and read her book.
On the other side, Jessie and the others, led by the strong ones, were picking vegetables from the garden.
Shauna jumped off Togetic's back and looked at the three of them.
She ran into the vegetable garden with Mime Jr. and the others.
"Hello, big brothers and sisters, and you—little cat?"
James and the others looked up and found a silver-haired little girl in an exquisite princess dress smiling at them.
"My name is Shauna. Are you also here to play at the Breeding House?"
Shauna asked in a clear voice.
James, meanwhile, stared blankly at the Chingling on her head and the Mime Jr. beside her.
"My name is Jessie."
"I'm Meowth, meow."
Looking at the utterly adorable little girl in front of them, Jessie's heart melted.
She said with hearts in her eyes.
Meowth felt the same.
Finally, they looked at James.
They nudged James.
James finally reacted.
"My name is James."
"Sister Jessie, Brother James, and Meowth, I'll treat you to some snacks."
After saying that, Shauna pulled out a few Candy from her princess dress, opened her palm, and offered them to them.
They looked at the Candy lying in her small palm, and at the adorable Shauna. (Imagine Platelets!)
"Wuwuwuwu, what a cute child."
"Exactly, meow!"
"I love you, Shauna."
Shauna looked at the trio, who were hugging each other and crying, completely bewildered.
