Chapter 130 - Chapter 130: Autumn Wind Brings Drowsiness

Returning to the dining table, Shauntal found most of the Pokémon gathered around.

What caught her eye the most was Gengar, sitting on a chair with a bib around its neck, chopsticks in hand, waiting for the food to be served.

She quickly walked over to Gengar.

Then she reached out and pinched its cheek.

"gengar sound?"

What are you doing?

"This Gengar is very well-trained."

She looked at Cynthia and said.

Cynthia nodded.

"All of his Pokémon are very well-trained."

Shauntal glanced at the surrounding Pokémon and nodded.

Each Pokémon was filled with positive emotions and love for its trainer.

"Dinner's ready~"

Lucas walked out carrying plates.

James and the others followed behind.

James took Mime Jr. and the others to deliver Pokémon food to the Pokémon boarded there first, while Lucas and the others sat down to eat.

"Today's meal is delicious too, Meowth."

Meowth said, touched.

"A talking Meowth?"

Shauntal sat down and pushed up her glasses.

She was a bit shocked.

"A special Meowth. Try it and see how it tastes."

Cynthia explained with a smile, then picked up a piece of meat for Shauntal.

Shauntal put aside her curiosity and put the meat into her mouth.

Her eyes instantly lit up.

Mm!

Then she buried her head and ate with great enjoyment.

Seeing this, Meowth and Jessie breathed a sigh of relief and continued eating.

Champion Cynthia's friend is also scary.

They thought this in their hearts.

Soon, James returned with Mime Jr. and the others, sitting down to eat together.

The clean-up work was still left to the trio.

Lucas returned to the front desk with Lilligant and the others.

Cynthia, on the other hand, sat with Shauntal in the afternoon tea area, quietly sipping afternoon tea.

Shauntal glanced at Cynthia's serious face as she read beside her and couldn't help but think that her good friend was truly beautiful.

"What's wrong?"

Cynthia looked up and smiled sweetly.

Shauntal shook her head.

"This place is indeed very suitable for relaxation."

Shauntal took the berry Pachirisu handed her from her shoulder, took a bite, and said.

Cynthia smiled and said:

"Isn't it?"

Shauntal nodded, then looked elsewhere.

The Pokémon lived in harmony, playing with each other, and some Pokémon quietly lay in the sun, sleeping soundly.

At the same time, some Pachirisu ran back and forth in the flowerbed, and Mime Jr. and the others chased after them, playing.

The entire backyard echoed with the laughter of Pokémon.

But unexpectedly, Shauntal didn't find it noisy; instead, she felt a sense of leisure.

Her Pokémon had also been released long ago to chat or spar with Cynthia's Pokémon or the Breeding House's Pokémon.

After taking a sip of the tea Gothorita brewed for her, she lay directly on the chair. The autumn sun wasn't hot.

So the parasol wasn't fully open.

Shauntal lay on the chair, able to see the half of the sky not covered by the parasol.

The blue and white sky, with various shapes of marshmallow-like clouds floating by, and a few Staravia or Starly soaring into the sky, gently shredding these marshmallows.

A brave Pachirisu jumped onto her lap.

She smiled, reached out and hugged Pachirisu, then enjoyed the autumn breeze of the Breeding House, which was blessed by the "favorable weather" buff.

She slowly closed her eyes.

When Cynthia looked up, she found that Shauntal had already fallen asleep with Pachirisu in her arms.

Lucas walked over quietly and glanced at the sleeping Shauntal.

He gestured to Cynthia.

Asking if she needed to be taken back to her room to sleep.

Cynthia shook her head, then asked Lucas to move a chair and sit beside her.

Lucas moved a chair and sat beside her, taking out his phone to read a novel.

Cynthia's golden hair drifted onto Lucas's face with the wind, and Lucas habitually brushed it away with his hand.

However, after a while, it would be blown onto Lucas's face again.

This went back and forth.

Vulpix, tired from playing, jumped onto Lucas's lap, gently nudged him with its small head, and then fell asleep peacefully in Lucas's warm hand.

Feeling the warmth in his arms, the itch on his face, the autumn wind made Lucas feel very comfortable.

He turned off his phone and then lay back on the chair.

He slowly closed his eyes.

Cynthia noticed that Lucas didn't continue to brush her hair back, so she curiously turned her head to look and found that he and Vulpix were sleeping soundly.

Now she finally knew why Vulpix's sleeping posture was so bad.

She glanced at the deeply sleeping Lucas and Shauntal.

Cynthia smiled helplessly and shook her head.

She closed her book and placed it on the table.

She also lay down.

These ordinary days where she could read with her Pokémon companions were too captivating for her.

Just thinking that she would have to return to the League to handle affairs in two days.

Itsuki had sent another message today, urging her.

Cynthia sighed with a hint of regret.

Then she slowly closed her eyes and entered dreamland together.

Shauna ran over, holding a sandcastle, and just as she was about to show it to Cynthia and the others, she found that they were all asleep.

She lightened her steps and slowly walked over, looking at the three people sleeping in various postures. She suddenly felt sleepy herself.

She found a chair, and with James's help, moved it next to Lucas, then climbed onto it.

She let out a beautiful yawn.

The Chingling on her head made a pleasant sound.

"Thank you, Brother James."

Shauna whispered.

James also whispered that she was welcome.

Shauna nodded, then closed her eyes with Chingling.

Garchomp, resting under the swing tree, saw that Cynthia and the others were all asleep, and quietly walked to stand behind Cynthia.

Gengar, who had returned from learning with Shauntal's Pokémon, also floated behind Lucas.

Gengar sat down with a thud, pulled out some snacks.

Then it looked at Garchomp and Shauntal's Cofagrigus.

"gengar sound—"

Do you want some?

Garchomp unceremoniously took a whole can of snacks from Gengar's hand.

At this moment, Lucario also walked over, sat down with Garchomp, and happily ate the snacks in its hand.

Gengar looked at its snacks being snatched away and was a little sad.

"Ga-oh—"

I know you have more.

Gengar's face flushed, and it took out two more cans, giving them to Lucario and Cofagrigus respectively.

Finally, it took out one more can for itself and happily ate it.

Garchomp chewed on the snacks in its mouth and glanced at Gengar.

It knew.

Having known Gengar for so long, Gengar might not have anything else, but snacks were definitely the most abundant.

Therefore, it ate with a clear conscience.

The four Pokémon ate and whispered to each other, but most of the time it was Gengar, Cofagrigus, and Lucario talking, and Garchomp just nodded.

In the distance, the trio, who had just finished their work and were resting under a tree.

They looked at the scene here.

"What a warm scene—"

Jessie couldn't help but say.

"That's right, Meowth."

James didn't speak; he was surrounded by his Pokémon, unable to move.

He could only nod in agreement.

"So-nan—su—"

Wobbuffet had just run over when it was muffled by the trio.

Perhaps influenced by Lucas and the others, the trio played around for a while, then leaned against the tree and yawned.

They all fell into a deep sleep.

The autumn wind blew, blowing away the worries of the Breeding House and bringing peaceful sleep.
