Chapter 25 - Invitation from an Evil God's Minion

In an instant, Mystic Eyes of Death Perception activated.

Kawashima Toya clearly saw the thick, pungent aura of the Evil God on the newcomer.

Madness, chaos, blindness, idiocy...

The visitor possessed all the characteristics of an Evil God's minion, and their intentions were obviously malicious.

This wasn't a failed, half-finished product like Aki Tomoya; this was a true minion.

[Name: Evil God's Minion]

[Rank: Strong]

[Description: A mindless minion of an Evil God, following orders from a higher entity to deliver an invitation.]

"Who are you?"

Toya's expression was calm as he unsheathed the Demon Sword Murasame.

The clear, bright blade glimmered with a cold light, as if impatient to slay all of Toya's enemies.

The towering minion didn't speak. Its eyes were filled with chaotic madness.

"No attack?" Toya looked at the minion with suspicion.

Typically, given the nature of these creatures, it should have attacked long ago.

Yet, this one hadn't made a move.

The minion stood there for a long while before slowly extending a grotesque, hideous hand.

In that hand lay an invitation stained with coagulated blood.

Toya glanced at it. "Made of human skin again!"

[System Notice: Host has received an invitation from an Evil God's minion.]

[System Notice: The invitation opens in seven days.]

"You've delivered the invitation. Now you can die."

Toya looked at the invitation with disgust and mercilessly slashed at the minion's Point of Death.

The minion didn't dodge or evade, allowing Toya to strike.

The Point of Death shattered. Amidst madness and chaos, the minion dissolved into black ash, leaving behind only the bloodstained invitation.

[System Notice: Eliminated an Evil God's Minion. Reward: 10,000 Source Points.]

Suppressing the urge to burn it, Toya picked up the invitation.

"What kind of banquet warrants a delivery by an Evil God's minion?"

"And to sacrifice a minion so casually... it actually makes me look forward to it."

Although he didn't know what these anomalies were planning, he just needed to crush them all.

Since it was a banquet, surely nothing too dangerous would happen immediately.

Toya wasn't overly worried and smirked.

"Still, I should be cautious. When I go back tonight, I'll just trick the angel next door into coming along."

"With Gabriel's help, I'm sure there won't be any danger."

He was somewhat confident in his ability to fool Gabriel.

Gabriel was still a proper angel right now. Facing anomalies, he trusted she would take the initiative to annihilate them.

If even Gabriel couldn't handle it, there were always taller people to hold up the sky.

He trusted that Heaven's power could at least match the Evil Gods.

Toya sighed softly. "This feeling isn't great. If this were a normal anime world, it wouldn't be this difficult."

His advantage as a transmigrator was almost useless.

Knowing the characters only provided minor assistance. For everything else, the System Shop was the real solution.

"Just have to endure it slowly." Soon, Toya returned to his lazy demeanor, looking as relaxed as a retired old man.

----

In a realm beyond human reach.

Far away in the cosmic starry sky, a biological spaceship constructed from indescribable biological tissues was flying towards Earth.

Inside the spaceship, a bizarre, grotesque, and twisted shadow waved indescribable tentacles.

A hateful voice, filled with all the ominousness of the world, sounded eerily. Incomprehensible, complex speech gradually transformed into human language.

"I have come..."

It was just a seemingly light sentence, yet the biological spaceship let out a frenzied, tragic scream.

Around the ship, meteorites instantly came to life, transforming into bizarre anomalies.

----

Dusk

Seeing that it was getting late, Toya was about to close up shop.

Suddenly, a nimble figure squeezed in.

"Ta-da! I'm here!" Yuigahama Yui spread her arms, seemingly trying to startle Toya.

Toya stared at her flatly. "So silly."

Who would be afraid of a beautiful girl with peach-colored bun hair?

"That's mean." Yui pouted. "I'm a beautiful girl; you can't call me that."

"Kawashima-kun, if you keep calling girls that, you'll be single forever."

Toya remained expressionless. "So? What's your point?"

"According to the school schedule, you shouldn't be here right now. You should be at your club activities."

"No class at all." Yui curled her lip and said helplessly, "Actually, I wanted to ask for your help."

Hearing the word "help," Toya's eyes lit up. He said seriously, "The price varies depending on the danger of the commission."

"The previous one hundred thousand yen was just a friendship price."
