Rex sat up with a heavy gasp, his hand instinctively flying to his mouth.
No saliva. No Edri. No headac— nvm he has a severe headache, though that's fine, he'll just sigh that out.
He let out a long, ragged sigh,(see?😂✌️) running a palm over his face to drag himself out of the bizarre, sweat-drenched haze of the dream he'd just had.
"Thank god…" He muttered to himself.
As he shifted his weight to get up, his fingers brushed against cold metal resting on the stone beside him. He looked down.
The Primseal spear was resting right next to his hip.
"Huh?" Rex muttered, his brows knitting together in confusion. "Didn't I throw this into the dark corner over there before I passed out...?"
He shook his head, refusing to overthink it.
A sigh escaped his lips as he pushed himself up onto his feet.
