5 men were approaching Storm's group.
4 of the men had similar clothes and equipment and Storm believed that they were normal ship crewmen.
The one that was clearly the leader of the group had a hat with 3 sharp points.
2 of the points extented well past his head and ended at his shoulders, while the final points extended well past the top of his head and extended his already impressive height with another few inches.
He had a simple leather jacket and pants, but no shirt.
Leaving his muscular chest exposed.
On his left cheek was a serpentine dragon tattoo and he had a long, shaggy black beard that ended just above his belly.
In his mouth was a long smoking pipe.
All 5 men's skin had long since turned a golden tan from extended exposure to the merciless sun every day.
Based on the way they were walking, they were all in varying states of inebriation.
They surrounded Storm and the others and the leader leaned in close to Leyocan's face.
"I don't believe the barkeep has made this clear enough! 'Your kind' is not welcome at this establishment! Make yourself scarce!"
"Ohh! And what kind are we exactly?!" Asked Leyocan.
The man took a large puff from his pipe, before removing it from his mouth and blowing a large cloud of smoke in Leyocan's face.
"Landlubbers!! The soft little men that can't even keep themselves steady in a breeze, let alone a proper tempest and who pukes up their guts even during calm seas!"
The other men laughed at their leader's description.
"Seems to me, the only one unsteady on their feet here and close to 'puking up their guts' is you 'sir'.
So how about you return to your chair before you embarrass yourself further!" Retorted Leyocan.
The men growled at the insult, but their leader kept his composure.
"You're brave, landlubber. I'll give you that!
So I'll give you one last chance to walk away! You can leave your lovely companion here though!
I'm sure she'll be fine 'entertainment'.
Storm sneered at the man and placed himself between him and Aurora.
"You will not touch her!!" Said Storm.
The man walked past Leyocan and put his face right up into Storm's face.
"And who's going to stop me, young blood?! You?!"
There was a blur of movement as Leyocan grabbed a bottle of whiskey from the counter, before shattering it over the man's head.
He stood straight up with a wide eyed expression, before collapsing on the ground unconscious.
His men stared at them in shock for a moment, before they rushed at their group and pandemonium erupted in the tavern.
Storm took a step forward and was about to join the fighting, when Leyocan called out.
"I've got this!! Leave them to me!!"
Storm reluctantly obeyed.
Leyocan ducked underneath a man's fist, before striking the man's elbow.
The man's arm broke and he screamed in pain, but a hard hit to his face silenced his cries.
A sailor grabbed Leyocan from behind and pinned his arms to his sides, while another one rushes at him from the front to take advantage of his situation.
But Leyocan jumped up and kicked him with both legs in the chest, driving himself and the man grabbing him into the counter.
The man's grip weakened and Leyocan took advantage of the situation to break free.
He grabbed the man by the collar of his jacket and threw him over the counter and at the racks of alcohol behind it.
As Leyocan cleared out his opponents one by one, more patrons jumped up and rushed him.
He kicked a chair at a group of three people that were rushing at him, causing two of them to trip and fall.
The third man tried to tackle Leyocan, but he fell flat on his back, then jumped back to his feet as the man sailed over the counter and collided with the already damaged racks.
The captain that started the fighting groaned and slowly got to his feet while swaying.
Before he could rejoin the fighting, Leyocan grabbed another bottle and broke that one over his head too, and he returned to dream land a moment later.
Despite the numbers against him, none of his opponents could even mark him.
After almost twenty minutes of non-stop fighting, Leyocan was standing in the center of the room.
Spread out around him, on the tables and the floor were the groaning patrons of the tavern.
Broken glass, shattered chairs, split tables were spread out across the tavern and the room resembled a warzone.
Leyocan dusted off his clothes and straightened his hair, then walked over to where Storm and Aurora were waiting.
"Enjoyed getting that out of your system?!" Aurora asked irritably.
Leyocan picked up one of the few unbroken bottles left in the tavern and broke it over the captain's head for a third time as he sluggishly got to his feet.
The captain collapsed again a moment later.
Leyocan gave a sly grin.
"Only enjoying the local entertainment!
Nothing wrong with that right?!"
At that exact moment the door flung open and several guardsmen rushed into the tavern.
They surveyed the carnage in the room, before locking eyes with Storm and his companions.
"Do you want to handle those by yourself as well?!" Asked Storm.
"Nah, I'm fine now! Don't want to be glutinous. " Replied Leyocan.
The guards slowly advanced towards them.
"Any ideas?" Asked Aurora.
"Running would be a good idea!" Replied Leyocan.
Leyocan sudden took off and Aurora and Storm ran after him a moment later.
Leyocan dived head first through a window, rolling as he touched the ground, before running down the street.
Storm and Aurora duplicated the move with somewhat less grace.
After Storm helped Aurora back to her feet, they ran after Leyocan.
As they rushed around a curve in the road, they found Leyocan waiting for them.
"Go!! I have something that will keep them 'occupied'!!"
He scattering several round metal orbs that were roughly the size of pebbles into the street, then ran after Storm and Aurora.
As the Guards came around the curve, they slipped on the orbs and the lot of them fell flat on their backs.
"This way!!" Leyocan shouted before leading them down a side passage that led to the clifface.
"Isn't that a dead-end!?" Asked Storm.
"Just trust me!!" Replied Leyocan.
Storm wanted to argue further, but he knew the guards would catch up at any minute.
As they ran down the passage, the thing that Storm feared appeared in front of them.
A vast, unscalable cliff blocked their path.
On either side of them were the walls of two buildings.
Despite the obstacle, Leyocan didn't hesitate, and ran up to the clifface and began pressing around the stones as if looking for something.
"Damn it!! Where is it?!!" Exclaimed Leyocan.
A moment later, he pressed a stone and it sank deeper into the wall.
A secret passage leading into the clifface opened a moment later.
"In here!!"
Once everyone was safely inside, he pressed another rock on the inside of the passage and the entrance slammed shut and sealed them in the darkness.
