Chapter 113 - Chapter 113

There were bigger buildings here and also, there were students. The deeper they went, the more the number of students increased and some were staring outside the windows. Some were seated just by the benches that existed here and there while others were doing laundry.

Lyren could not help but feel that the stares were somehow not right. It was almost like they were glares and also, he could feel like there was amusement in the air. Well, it was to be expected as they were the first ones to find the sleeping quarters.

Still, they could not help but feel something was wrong and they just couldn't wrap their minds around it. It was a few moments later when they saw students walking towards them and circling them that the two stopped and gave it a careful thought. They looked around and it started dawning to them.

"You really are something," one student said and the two looked at each other. Where was this heading.

"To think that it would be two perverted boys who found the girls' quarters first," another student said and all of them had their hands folded on their chests. They were dressed minimalistic as it was supposed to be girls' quarters.

They had been staring at the two hoping that they would realize that this was not the right way but it was as though they were being ignored. It was obvious to them all that someone had gone ahead and given the directions to the dorms and these two naïve first years had just followed blindly

Lyren was on the verge of laughing and Julian was already turning beet red, holding his clothes tightly on his chest. Lyren gave Julian a glance and it was to be expected. He wanted to laugh because this was the first time he had been played this hard. He was so mad that he let out a chuckle. He was going to find that senior in the future and make him pay.

"Our sincere apologies for our invasion. We are going to take our leave," Lyren said and bowed. He then forced Julian to bow by pushing him by the back of his neck.

"We are ultimately sorry for intruding. We were blind to see that these are the wrong quarters," Julian spoke quickly stuttering midway.

"And how can we trust that two perverted first years just happened to stumble into the wrong dorms. Ignoring the rules now, are we?" A girl spoke from behind the crowd and the silence that ensued actually symbolized that she had some authority over here.

Julian shivered because they had ignored the rules. They had been caught red handed. The number of female eyes boring down on them was enough to make holes in them. Julian shivered and he felt like shedding real tears when Lyren stood up. Where had the respect gone?

"Senior misjudged us. We were told to find he dorms and we did what we could but our source was unreliable which is why we are in our current predicament. We implore you that you let us go," Lyren spoke and the crowd parted as a girl stood before them. She was taller than either of them.

"Is it not our SSS grade talent. To think that you were a degenerate," she asked and Lyren almost spit out a mouthful of blood and the crowd all broke out. A pervert was better than a degenerate. This was personal.

"Senior, with all due respect, you don't want to cross me," Lyren said coldly as he straightened himself further and looked at her directly in the eye. The shift silenced the crowd and even Julian stood straight.

"Is that supposed to be a threat?" The girl asked and all eyes turned to Lyren.

"You can call it that if you don't mind," Lyren said and he turned back but the crowd refused to part. "Tell your minions to make way now!" Lyren's voice did not rise but it carried some sort of commanding tone at the end.

Everyone including Julian was shocked and the girl swallowed her words because no one dared to speak to her that way. Let alone a first year!

"You know that you should respect your seniors, kid," the girl said and Lyren sighed. One thing he hated was when someone referred to him as a kid. He was thirteen but still that did not sit well with him. He was trying to be respectful but they kept showing him why he should not be.

"Respect is earned not asked for. I have no ounce of respect to those who insult me. If you actually think that we are perverts or maybe degenerates, I think we can never see through the same lenses. I don't mean to be rude but we just want to find the SQ dorms," Lyren said and looked at those blocking the way.

"Move."

Some actually moved before they found their composure and stood in place. Julian could actually tell that a fight could break out at any moment. Lyren was not the type to take things being thrown his way. He was decisive from the first battle he had seen him take down the seventh stage. If they crossed him, he could definitely start a fight.

"Listen kid, we have our rules and those who are found in the opposite quarters are severely punished if you cause a commotion. We are also trying not to judge you and it because you are first years that we have not made a move yet. You don't want to make it harder than it actually is. Do you?" The girl asked and Lyren sighed.

A drag!

It was a drag!

"What do you want then?" Lyren asked trying to solve it their way.

"Nothing much. Just get on your knees and apologize for disrespect to each side," the girl said and the rest all nodded. Julian heaved a sigh of relief as there was finally a way out. The only question was whether Lyren was going to accept it.

Julian was already going on his knees when he felt a hand on his collar at the back stopping him from getting to his knees. He was lifted with relative ease as though he was not heavy. He was lifted from his feet and when he was turned to look at Lyren, he could see a cold flash in the pale gray eyes.

"What do you think you are doing?" Lyren asked Julian who was left mouth agape and throat dry.

"You stopped me to ask such a question? Quick put me down and I will apologize for you too," Julian said and Lyren actually released him and let him fall on the ground.

How weak willed!

Julian scrambled to his knees and he was about to knee when he felt a kick on his shoulder. He was surprised and he turned to look at Lyren who was glaring at him. This made him stand up slowly and go behind Lyren. He had tried but Lyren was so stubborn.

"So, you want us to apologize?" Lyren asked and even Julian was surprised. Why had he been stopped then?

"Apologize to you for me getting lost? Apologize because some random girl actually thinks that she is special and that we are perverts. Apologize to you all? What do you think you have that we could be interested in? Yet we should apologize? Bullshit! Let me see who dares to stop me."

Everyone was surprised but the surprise turned to anger and when Lyren was done, Julian was shaking like a leaf on a windy day. He might have followed a trouble maker. He had not even tried to appease them. He had added fuel to the fire!

A drag!

It was a drag!
