Chapter 66: Attacked by Rogue Espers
"No way! Why am I the one who has to stay behind!? Everyone else gets to go except me? I'm Do Ha-sii 's younger brother!"
Outside the parking area of District D Headquarters, Lee Do Yeon clung tightly to the door of the SUV, shouting continuously about not wanting to be left behind on office duty.
"Do Yeon, someone needs to stay at the office."
I tried to persuade him.
"We need two SS-Rank Espers, Jo Hyun and Seon Ji Yong, to ensure we can suppress Jae Sin if he refuses to release the captives. Zero and I are their Guides, so we need to go as well."
Lee Do Yeon gritted his teeth and shook his head repeatedly, clearly unwilling to listen any further.
I sighed and said,
"And Min Seok has already left. Do Yeon, if you don't stay behind, we won't be able to leave and bring your brother back."
