The moment that person appeared, the air itself froze.

Even Kartik… felt it.

His hands trembled uncontrollably. His heartbeat went wild. Still, he forced himself to stay calm, trying to act normal.
Kartik (thought):
"This aura… it smells like death."
The man spoke.
"How dare you hurt my student?"
His voice crashed down like thunder.
The environment shifted instantly. A powerful green aura erupted from his body, distorting the space around him.
He turned his gaze toward Navi.
Navi's breathing stopped.
His entire body froze. He couldn't even move a finger. Cold sweat ran down his face as his eyes slowly shifted toward Kartik.
Kartik (forced calm):
"President… I didn't expect you to be here. I didn't know she was your student."
The moment those words were spoken—

President.
The realization hit like a shockwave.
Especially Navi.
Nothing was going according to his plan.
Navi (inner thoughts):

Kartik (cold):

The President stood there… holding Piece in his arms.

He slowly looked toward Navi.
Navi trembled.

Piece's eyes fluttered open.
"Master… when did you arrive…?"

He vanished into the sky.
The ground beneath him shattered from the force of his takeoff.

Navi took a deep breath.

Star and Billy also exhaled in relief.

"Sir Zhao… what do we do now? Everyone is injured. If the next monster wave arrives… we won't survive."
Navi (serious):

"Our plan failed."

The statue spoke.
