ARIA'S POV.
Ethan!!!!!!!.
I screamed at him while covering my mouth with my hands cause my laughter couldn't be contained. Nine years old me was laughing profusely cause Ethan my best friend made a very heartening promise.
" We would marry each other when no one agrees to " that promise made my heart flutter because i loved him . Yeah i do but i didn't know if i should tell him about it but after this promise he made to me in front of my school hall. I blushed hard but little ethan couldn't see that he was responsible for the red cheeks.
I told myself i was going to tell him tonight when i come over to his place to work on our homework. i was going to finally tell him how i felt about him after holding it in . My young self jumped with enthusiasm and although i was super nervous, i was still excited still. I beamed with joy and quickly cleaned my tears . I was insulted once again by my so called friends because of my freckles. I told them i had a crush on someone but i felf insecure telling them it was Ethan my best friend. Everyone saw as siblings cause we gossiped together, laughed together, cried together when any of us got hurt , we made plans about university together. Everything we practically did together apart from bathing obviously. He put his hands over my shoulder so we could go home like we always do every day urging me to tell gim how my day went.
We arrived at my place and he stopped me at my door steps and waved me goodbye ensuring that we still would see each other tonight . I was too excited to respond with a nod i assured him and with a peck on my forehead he left . I rushed inside to pick a cute outfit for tonight's confession.
"Mom"!!!
Am home . I shouted for her ro know and dashed over to my room locking it. I searched and made a mess of my bedroom but i couldn't careless though. I finally saw a white corset cute outfit and decided this was it. I quickly took my bathe and rushed to Ethan's place. I knocked on the door and surprisingly his mom opened.
" Hey aria " she greeted smiling. I came and hugged her greetings i quickly rushed to Ethan's room after exchanging pleasantries.
"Ethan"? I knocked. He opened with a smile on his face. I smiled too . He told me to come in and i did .we finished with the assignment and i got nervous i was going to tell him about my feelings. Meanwhile i will let you know he was older than me by five years . He was fourteen and was in the eleventh grade .
"Ethan, can i tell you a secret like always" i said . He nodded telling me to go on . I breathed out a very large amount of oxygen cause i was scared. But finally i told him.
" I LIKE YOU ETHAN " . We kept quiet for a while he didn't say anything but only smiled . Not knowing that smile was eventually what ended us.
