Chapter 41
"Hahahahaha! Such courage!"
"Bogard, bring the warship in close!"
Seeing Vilin standing boldly at the port waiting for him, Garp naturally stopped caring about Vilin's "vase" crew members.
Yes — in the Navy's eyes, Vilin's crew were just eye candy. The only person they truly wanted to capture was Vilin himself.
As the warship gradually approached the dock, Garp stomped hard on the deck.
The entire ship shook violently.
Like an arrow released from a bow, Garp's figure shot straight toward Vilin on the pier.
Fist Bone Impact!
Mid-air, Garp raised a fist wrapped in thick black Armament Haki and punched toward Vilin.
Vilin watched as a circular shockwave of pure destruction roared toward him.
Feeling the terrifying power, Vilin narrowed his eyes.
Giant Spirit Fist!
Against Garp's attack, Vilin held nothing back.
Both fists clenched, a hundred-meter-tall wooden fist burst out of the ground and smashed toward Garp.
In an instant, everyone at the port witnessed two attacks carrying horrifying power collide head-on.
A massive shockwave exploded outward from the point of impact, spreading in all directions.
Houses too close were instantly reduced to rubble.
Seeing such destructive force, everyone nearby fled in panic, terrified of being caught in the aftermath.
When the shockwave finally dissipated, the crowd saw that Vilin's enormous wooden fist had been completely shattered.
But Garp's attack had also been blocked.
Garp looked surprised that his strike didn't land cleanly.
"Hahahahaha! Again!"
Bone Fist!
Garp tapped his foot in mid-air.
His figure instantly appeared right in front of Vilin.
Vilin's Observation Haki quickly locked onto Garp's movement.
Facing this heavy, momentum-filled punch, Vilin also raised his fist wrapped in Armament Haki and met it head-on.
Vilin felt the immense force transmitted through his coated fist.
His face paled slightly.
The next moment, he was blasted backward by Garp's punch.
After crashing through a large section of buildings, he finally came to a stop.
Vilin looked quite disheveled. Blood churned violently in his chest.
He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and glared at Garp with sharp eyes.
Garp stood calmly, his expression as placid as ever.
Seeing that unchanging face, Vilin's eyes instantly turned wild with madness.
Power Forest – Eight-Armed Giant!
Vilin spread both arms wide.
His body rapidly expanded once again.
Countless roots shot from his feet deep into the ground.
Garp's eyes turned serious when he saw the change.
"Hahahahaha! Garp!"
"Today I'll show you my true power!"
Vilin swung the eight truck-sized arms that had grown from his body, smashing them toward Garp's comparatively tiny figure.
Garp refused to back down and met the assault head-on.
Soon he realized that the fists — which he could previously shatter easily — were now coated in thick black Armament Haki.
Feeling the mountain-like force behind each blow, even Garp found himself momentarily unable to gain the upper hand.
Seeing Garp being suppressed, Bogard, watching from the sidelines, grew anxious.
Vilin continued swinging his eight massive fists like playing whack-a-mole, hammering Garp nonstop.
He even laughed wildly while attacking.
"Enough!"
As Vilin relentlessly pounded him, Garp finally erupted.
His clothes were instantly shredded by the sheer force of his aura.
Revealing rock-hard muscles beneath.
Using Shave, Garp instantly appeared above Vilin.
He concentrated every ounce of strength into his fist.
Fist Bone – Impact!
Garp finally unleashed his strongest technique.
As his body soared into the air, a pitch-black fist carrying his full power smashed downward toward Vilin.
The terrifying force locked onto him completely.
Seeing Garp use his ultimate move, excitement flashed across Vilin's face.
"Come on!"
Vilin roared.
His black hair whipped wildly in the wind.
"Elbaf Spear – Hagukoku!"
In an instant, Vilin condensed an irregularly shaped giant sword in his hand.
His eyes locked sharply on Garp.
He raised the massive blade, fully coated in Armament Haki, and swung it toward the charging Garp.
Whoosh!
A green crescent moon blade carrying terrifying pressure sliced through the air toward Garp.
Seeing Vilin strike first, Garp also unleashed his fully charged punch.
BOOM! BOOM!
A black lightning-wreathed fist shadow collided head-on with a destructive spear light.
In an instant, the entire sky darkened.
Two immense forces clashed violently in mid-air.
The released destructive aura spread outward from the eastern port in all directions.
The solid ground of the eastern port cracked and shattered into rubble.
The calm sea surface was thrown into violent turmoil by the shockwave.
Countless docked ships were swept out into the ocean.
Seeing neither side could gain the upper hand for the moment, Vilin had no intention of continuing to fight Garp to the death.
Thinking his crew had already safely evacuated, Vilin decided not to linger.
He left a wooden substitute in his place.
Then he sank into the ground and escaped toward the agreed meeting point.
As the port finally returned to calm, the onlookers could clearly see the battlefield.
Everyone present gasped in shock.
Across the Nanohana port, deep cracks stretching dozens of meters had appeared, with seawater pouring continuously into them.
Just as Garp wanted to charge forward for another round, he realized Vilin had already vanished.
Only a wooden puppet remained in his place.
Seeing Vilin escape once again, Garp clenched his fists tightly.
As the battle ended, a squad of Alabasta Kingdom soldiers rushed toward him.
"Navy sir, we will definitely report the damage you caused here to the World Government."
"We hope the Navy will compensate us accordingly."
Looking at the ruined port, Garp scratched his head awkwardly.
For once, he was at a loss for words.
"Sigh… looks like I can't be so reckless next time."
"Probably gonna make Fleet Admiral Kong furious again."
After watching the soldiers leave, Garp smashed Vilin's wooden substitute to pieces with one punch.
Then he swung his justice cloak behind him and walked toward his warship.
"Continue pursuing Vilin!"
On the calm sea, a green figure was flying rapidly forward.
When a small dot appeared in front of him, Vilin descended toward it.
Landing on the deck, he finally showed a happy smile.
Vilin never expected that now he could actually trade blows with a young Garp.
As the Flying Bird quickly sailed away from Alabasta's waters, the result of this battle was swiftly reported by various news outlets.
