"I know when your heart speeds up like that," he growled, his voice a dark rumble that vibrated through her bones. "I can hear it from across the compound—when you're afraid, when you're excited..." His large hand splayed across her chest, feeling the frantic flutter beneath her ribs. "When you're wet for me."
Felicity's cheeks burned as Lucan lowered his face to her neck, inhaling deeply. Exile watched from the corner, his green eyes gleaming in the dim light, his jaw clenched tight.
"I know exactly how many bites of food you take at breakfast," Lucan continued, his teeth grazing her ear. "The way your voice changes when you lie. How your tail twitches when you're trying not to smile." His hand slid down her body, possessive and knowing. "And I know exactly how to make you scream."
Without warning, he flipped her onto her stomach, yanking her hips up. Felicity gasped, her fox ears flattening against her head as Lucan's rough hands spread her thighs.
