Chapter 4 - Naturally Talented

(Disclaimer: I don't own either the Naruto or Jujutsu Kaisen franchises, Much love and respect to the actual owners)

[A/N: I got a two comments complaining about the name i chose for the main character, Feitan. I chose the name because of Feitan from hunter x hunter is a badass character. So yeah, i ain't changing his name. Also i been reading through all the reviews and they are very much appreciated, seriously, thank you to everyone. With that being said, I want some constructive criticism as this is my first fanfic on this site, I want to improve as a writer so feel free to point out any mistakes or plot-holes, ect. That's all]

[Chapter Start]

My routine finally shifted a little after my fourth birthday.

I still couldn't go outside the clan compound, which was understandable but still annoying, as recently a passing thought had been lingering in my head for far too long.

Which part of the timeline had I been dropped into?

One thing I still knew was that what I remembered about this world was before the start of the main storyline.

But I couldn't just ask anyone that. Even the freaking elders would raise a brow if a four-year-old Six Eyes wielder asked them that. They'd probably think I'd gone mad from overdosing on the Six Eye's immense ocular power.

Which is why I decided on waiting. I'll wait until I'm old enough to be able to go into the village. No doubt, I'd be accompanied by my eternal guards.

As I previously mentioned, my usual routine changed.

Because Hiashi decided it was time to began my training.

He simply stated that my chakra coils had matured enough for formal training, the same way someone might comment that it was going to rain. For him, it wasn't a life-altering decision.

Ofcourse, Hizashi objected immediately.

He argued that it was too early, that there was no need to rush, that pushing too hard now could cause damage later. He wasn't worried about the clan or its expectations.

He was worried about me.

But even so, I still agreed with Hiashi.

Not because I wanted to be obedient — far from it, actually.

Because I wanted strength so that I could act out of line without facing repercussions.

In this world, power wasn't a luxury. It was a survival requirement. People who waited until "later" usually didn't get one. I already had the Six Eyes and Limitless. Letting that sit unused out of fear would have been a grave mistake.

So when they finally asked for my opinion, I didn't hesitate.

"I want to train."

The discussion ended the moment those words left my mouth—funny how my opinion became important the instant it matched what they wanted anyway.

That morning, after I had my breakfast, I was bathed by my aunt, Hyuza. Was it weird being bathed by a woman at a mental age of seventeen? At first, yes. But as time passed and as I started to see her more like a mother figure, it wasn't weird.

She dressed me up in a simple white shirt and a pair of shorts. Light and comfortable. She adjusted my blindfold and smoothed my hair the way she always did, not because I was fragile, but because she cared enough to be gentle.

I stopped thinking of her as "Hizashi's wife" a long time ago.

She was my mother. Kinda. I still hadn't forgotten my actual mother.

"Don't push yourself too hard," she said softly.

I nodded.

Hiashi was already waiting outside. I felt his chakra signature before the door even slid open. Hyuza announced that I was ready, and I stepped out to meet him.

He held out his hand.

I took it.

We walked through the compound together, past the stone paths and open courtyards, past buildings arranged with the same discipline the clan demanded of its members. Everything was controlled. Meant to be exactly where it was.

Eventually, we reached the training field.

Hiashi stopped at the center and turned toward me.

"Today, we begin with chakra control," he said. "Everything else comes later."

I nodded, walking up to him.

Suddenly, he knelt down and swiped a leaf off the ground.

I got an idea of what he was going to have me do as he placed the leaf on my forehead.

"Direct your chakra onto the leaf and maintain it on your forehead," Hiashi directed, shortly before letting go of the leaf.

I focused.

Due to housing the Six Eyes in my sockets, to me, chakra wasn't just vague energy. It had a structure and a flow with precision. Every fluctuation stood out immediately—and corrected itself just as fast.

The leaf didn't move.

Hiashi watched longer than necessary before silently moving on.

If he was impressed, he didn't let me know, as his face remained with its usual expression, which somehow looked like he was angry.

It was quite fitting for him to have a resting bitch face.

Next, he demonstrated the tree-walking exercise by walking up one of the trees on the outline of the clearing.

"Direct chakra into the soles of your feet. However, maintain a small, steady flow in order to stick to the tree without problems," he said, as he quite literally walked up the tree.

A tinge of excitement injected into my four-year-old body as I witnessed something that was impossible in my previous world.

He walked down the trunk before gesturing for me to give it a go.

I walked up to it, placing the sole of my right foot—or rather, my sandal—on the bark of the tree. I directed the flow of chakra to my sole, keeping it constant. Not a single speck of chakra wasted as I began to walk up the tree.

Now how the hell is a four-year-old kid able to do these chakra control exercises on his first try?

Hiashi's train of thought was probably along those lines, or so I like to think, as the bastard's expression remained unwavering.

Two—no, five words. Six Eyes are fucking broken.

In Jujutsu Kaisen, Satoru Gojo has near godlike control over cursed energy due to his eyes, so it's not really surprising that I would have the same type of control over chakra.

To any other person, chakra is very complicated to control. Yet for me, nothing about it was unclear.

Through my blindfold, I stared at Hiashi as I stood there on the tree horizontally. While I was waiting for what else he had for me, I sensed chakra flowing to his eyes.

[Third Person POV]

Hiashi's now activated Byakugan eyes stared at Hakari's chakra, specifically his coils, zooming in with the Byakugan's binocular-like ability.

He was silently observing how the child's chakra network reacted as he walked down the tree—how it adjusted, refined itself and balanced output with no hesitation.

He muttered to himself.

"This level of control…"

Hakari's face turned into a shit-eating grin, which he quickly softened. He had finally gotten a reaction out of the cold-hearted clan head.

"Was it supposed to be hard?" Hakari voiced out, the smugness in his voice clear, which consequentially snapped Hiashi out of his thoughts.

"Follow me," Hiashi ordered, swiftly turning around, and Hakari, despite being curious as to the abrupt ending to his training, followed suit.

They arrived at the lake within the compound, which the Six Eyes wielder was really familiar with, as he spent some time there and had already gained an idea of what he was going to do.

"I want you to simply observe and then replicate this," Hiashi said, before walking over to the edge of the dock.

This statement caught Hakari's ear, and more so his curiosity. Could Hiashi be trying to find out how intricately he was able to sense chakra?

Our white-haired protagonist observed intently as Hiashi walked on the surface of the lake, smiling a bit at how, in his previous world, Hiashi would've been worshiped if he were to perform the same action.

Hakari walked up to the edge of the large body of water as his clan head had done a couple of seconds ago, who remained standing atop the lake.

[First Person POV]

I stepped onto the water.

The surface tension responded exactly how I thought it would. My chakra output adjusted automatically. I walked a slow circle across the water, simply observing the interaction.

"That feels weird," I said.

I looked back at Hiashi, who just stared at me, and this time, even through his pale, usually emotionless eyes, I could see something.

Then I realized this could be a great time to ask the ever-so-noble clan head of mine something.

"Can I try Limitless now?"

Hiashi seemingly hesitated for a second.

"Being the wielder of the Six Eyes, only you have an idea of how the Limitless technique functions," he said at last. "In the records of Satoru Hyūga, it is only stated to be an invisible but impenetrable barrier of sorts."

I already knew that, and as I figured, this Satoru Hyūga hadn't revealed—or at least written down—how the Limitless technique worked, at least not in depth.

For those who don't know, the Limitless technique brings the concept of infinity into existence and manipulates it to create an invisible barrier that divides space infinitely.

I'll throw in an example for those still confused. Let's say a kunai is thrown at Satoru Hyūga. The invisible barrier around him would prevent the kunai from ever reaching him by dividing the distance between him and the kunai into an infinite number of smaller spaces.

Now do you understand how fucking broken this ability is?

Which is why I need to learn Limitless as soon as possible, so that I can become more and more used to holding the technique up all the time. Not to mention, my level of mastery over Infinity determines whether or not, I'd be able to perform certain techniques. Also, the small fear of being kidnapped has been lingering at the back of my mind like an annoying fly.

While it is highly unlikely, the probability of me being kidnapped or attacked is never zero, so I want to be prepared for when the time comes.

Hiashi seemed to be studying me for a long moment.

"…You may attempt it."

So I did.

And it wasn't dramatic. It wasn't forced. It simply… settled. Space folded in on itself. Then nothing. Outwardly, there wasn't a flash of light or anything.

It felt weirdly natural, having Limitless wrapped around my body.

Hiashi activated the Byakugan again.

He must assume that the barrier is made of chakra. It's not, though it is fueled by chakra.

A perfect boundary existed around me, distance rewritten into something untouchable. I honestly never felt so… what's the word? [title card]

I was snapped out of my inner monologue of world domination when Hiashi walked up to me.

He reached toward me, and his hand slowed, then stopped entirely, unable to cross the infinite space between my white fluff of hair and his hand.

I smiled slightly beneath the blindfold.

Oh boy. Oh boy. This will never get old.

He stepped back, and this time he didn't even try to hide the look of shock on his face.

How I wish I had a phone, or at least a camera.

A sudden idea popped into my head, and I quickly voiced it.

"Throw something… like a pebble at me."

I was pretty confident that he'd agree to this. I could practically see the pot of curiosity bubbling over on his face.

He knelt down, swiftly swiping up a decent-sized pebble, then walked a distance away from me. He held up a hand in warning before throwing it.

The pebble sliced through the air with scary accuracy, aimed directly at my torso. I almost flinched as the pebble came an inch away from me.

It halted in front of me, suspended in place, denied the concept of "contact" entirely, then fell onto the grass.

I looked at it, feeling something warm unfurl in my chest.

[A/N: I know it sounds like hakari is broken as fuck already but calm down, i already have thought up of multiple way's to reasonably make sure he isn't broken off the bat. I mean he has limitless and the six eyes there's only so much i can do, but worry not. At least for now, hakari won't be able to hold up limitless 24/7, i wanted to clarify that. But anyways, did yall catch the reference of a certain show?]
