Chapter 1 - Chapter One: The Accidental Encounter

Lisa had promised herself she would not stay long.

The night party glittered with excess—soft golden lights hanging overhead, glasses clinking, music humming low and seductive. It was the kind of place where secrets were born and regrets followed at dawn. Lisa stood among her friends, trying to convince herself that she belonged there.

Her curly blonde hair framed her face in loose, rebellious waves, brushing against her bare shoulders. Her eyes—light brown, almost honey-colored—held a quiet vulnerability she often tried to hide. She had chosen her dress carefully: a long, thin-strapped gown that clung to her body like a second skin, revealing her curves with dangerous elegance. It was not meant to invite trouble, but trouble noticed her anyway.

"You look unreal tonight," Maya said, adjusting Lisa's straps. "Like you're about to ruin someone's life."

Lisa laughed softly. "I just want to forget mine for a few hours.

Jasmine frowned. "That's exactly how bad decisions start."

A waiter passed by, and before Lisa could think twice, a glass was placed in her hand.

"One drink," she said. "Just one."

But one became two. Two became three. The music grew louder, the lights softer, and the world began to spin gently instead of standing still. Lisa danced with her friends, laughed too hard, spoke too freely. Somewhere between midnight and regret, she wandered outside for air.

The rest of the night disappeared into fragments—headlights, leather seats, warmth, darkness.

Leo hated noise.

As CEO, his life was already loud with demands and expectations. Tonight had drained what little patience he had left. He slid into his car, loosened his collar, and drove home without looking back. He did not notice the quiet weight in the back seat, the unconscious passenger fate had placed in his path.

Inside his home, silence greeted him. He loosened his tie, walked into the bathroom, and let hot water pour over him, washing away the stress of the day.

When he stepped into his bedroom afterward, a towel wrapped around his waist, he stopped abruptly.

There was a woman on his bed.

His heart pounded. "Who are you?" he asked sharply.

Lisa stirred. He moved closer and gently pulled her upright.

"How did you get here?"

She blinked slowly, her eyes struggling to focus. Then she saw him—tall, broad-shouldered, water still dripping from his hair. His face was strikingly handsome, intense, commanding.

She smiled.

Without saying a word, she leaned forward and kissed him.

Leo pulled back immediately.

"Who… are you?" he asked, voice firm but tinged with disbelief.

Lisa blinked, a mischievous smile on her lips. Without thinking, she stepped forward and pressed her lips to his. The kiss was soft at first, teasing, then deeper as Leo's hands instinctively moved to her waist, steadying her as the alcohol blurred her senses.

Her hands brushed his chest, feeling the warmth beneath the crisp fabric of his shirt. Leo's jaw tightened, desire flaring as he tilted his head, exploring her lips with his own.

"Why… are you here?"his voice low, urgent.

Lisa only smiled, tilting her head to press another kiss to his jaw, her fingers tracing the line of his neck. The air around them crackled with tension, longing, and a magnetic heat neither expected.

Slowly, in a playful, teasing manner, Leo's hands moved along her sides, brushing against the smooth fabric of her gown. The dress slipped slightly from her shoulder, exposing the soft curve of her neck. Lisa shivered under his touch, leaning into him instinctively.

Their lips met again, urgent and hungry, hands exploring with reverent longing. Leo's hands guided her toward the bed, their bodies pressed close, breaths mingling, hearts racing. He lowered her gently, her gown shifting with every movement, revealing more in a delicate, tantalizing way.

Lisa tangled her fingers in his hair, pulling him down for another kiss. Their mouths moved together in a dance of teasing, playful, and passionate desire. Every glance, every touch, every whispered breath built the connection, a fire that neither wanted to extinguish.

They paused briefly, foreheads pressed together, hearts pounding. "You're… reckless," Leo murmured, voice rough with emotion and something darker.

"I'm… just… you," Lisa said breathlessly, brushing her hands across his chest.

The tension remained, electric and consuming, a storm neither could resist.

Morning arrived like a punishment.

Lisa woke with her body aching and her mind heavy with dread. The unfamiliar ceiling stared back at her, cold and unforgiving. She turned—and froze.

A man lay beside her.

Memories crashed into her like waves. The party. The confusion. The warmth she did not remember asking for.

Her heart pounded as she slipped from the bed, clutching the sheets tightly around herself. She had taken only two steps when a hand closed around her wrist.

"Running already?"

She gasped and fell back beside him.

"I—I'm confused," she said quickly. "I don't know how I got.
