"So? Where did you keep her?" Venessa rummaged through the whole kitchen trying to find something easy to eat. There was almost everything inside four large fridges that made her want to eat nothing.
When there's too many options, you ought to feel like that, don't you?
Apparently, the mansion has five more kitchens yet she couldn't believe only one had this much grocery stored. How many people actually live here?
Even though Venessa felt hungry, there was some other reason for finding the kitchen anyway. She wasn't dumb enough to just focus on her hunger, as something else mattered more.
She grabbed a knife and tore a bag of bread, clearly looking as harmless as possible while tugging the knife inside swiftly.
Good, now she needs to know where Alexis is. Surely, they can't survive with a knife only but it might come in handy when needed.
