They talked a bit more until Feyra and Shiba brought Lihua and Xiao back to their room. The two girls seemed a little anxious, but also a little excited. Their days of suffering were over now and they would soon have a better home.
"Thank you, Mister Shiba," Lihua said, wrapped in her blanket and ready to sleep.
Shiba smiled a little and shoved his glasses back before closing the door and making his way up to the suite he and Feyra were staying in.
Feyra was standing outside, looking in the distance. She saw the palace and the mountains behind, letting the wind go through her hair.
"Soon, our journey to the North will start. I wonder what might be on the way. We will definitely need to go to the Jin clan," she said, not turning around and waiting for Shiba to stop next to her.
They both looked outside, looking at the moon and the stars that lit the sky. In the distance, there was a mountain and other silhouettes. Shiba smiled and answered.
