"What are you doing here, Claire?"
Claire stared at her daughter for the longest time before her gaze darted to the man whose hand was safely secured around her waist.
She glared at that hand hard enough for him to remove it without her needing to say a word.
"I think I should leave," he said, giving an awkward smile before heading back into the club.
Agatha tried to stop him but he'd already bolted back inside.
Sighing, she turned to face Claire.
"What's your problem?" She demanded from the woman. "You only returned today and you're already starting to make my life a living hell. What's your problem?!"
"My problem?" Claire questioned back. "My problem is that you always make me worry about you for no reason. Do you see what the time is? It's 10:30pm—"
"And so what? Since when did you suddenly start caring how long I stay outside for?" She demanded, raising one eyebrow. "I go home whenever I want, so if you know what's best for you, you better head back home."
