(June, year 54 AK)
In the dark Kamui dimension, Obito was holding Yuta in the air by the neck while being disturbed by the unexpected development of the events.
First, Zetsu suddenly came to him with an urgent news that someone in the Konoha village is about to leak his deepest secrets to one of the people he sent Zetsu to monitor – Shisui, the only person that Obito was actually cautious about in the whole village, since he knew that Shisui possess the Mangekyo Sharingan, and Obito knew full well of how dangerous the Mangekyo Sharingan could be.
Then, Obito immediately reacted and teleported there with his Kamui, and he distracted Shisui and captured the Genin that knew too much for his own good. And now, when Obito used his genjutsu to make the Genin talk, what he heard next didn't make any sense to Obito, the kid shouldn't be able to lie to him under the effects of his genjutsu, and the kid said that he knew the intel on him from when he was four years old...
After Obito's mind was racing with thoughts with urgency for a few seconds, the only explanation that Obito could come up with that actually make any sense – is that someone out there knows his secrets and that person is trying to expose him by planting this intel into this kid's mind. And after that realization hit him, Obito felt as if his whole world was collapsing, his carefully crafted plans is now in danger, there is someone out there, who knows about him, and he is targeting him.
Obito forced himself to calm down and thought about who it might be. The kid clearly doesn't know who it was, the knowledge planted into his mind about four years ago, considering his current age, was likely planted in secret, without leaving any clues of the one behind it all.
'Four years ago...' Obito thought, 'That was when I unleashed the Nine-Tails inside Konoha... Could it be that Minato recognized me during our fight and found time to build contingencies by sealing this knowledge into some random kid? This is possible... But it doesn't feel right, why chose some random kid when you could've passed the intel to Hiruzen instead? Nothing about this kid makes much sense!'
"Answer me, how much exactly do you know about me?" Obito asked in a deep and threatening tone next, as he wanted to get a better understanding of how much intel on him might have leaked.
As Yuta's calm and focused mind observed the scene, ready to escape by time-travel at any moment, when things will eventually get really dangerous, Yuta's controlled body started to speak monotonously.
"Almost everything. Kannabi bridge mission, rescue by Madara, manipulated by Madara to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan, manipulated by Zetsu to follow the false Eye of The Moon plan..." As Yuta's body was saying those words, Yuta started to feel the urgency to retreat, this much information was already too much for Yuta to be able to predict how Obito would react to that, but before Yuta's body could continue to spill the information any further, Obito tightened his grip on his neck.
"What do you mean by being manipulated by Madara to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan!?" Obito blurted out in anger.
"Khah..." Yuta's body was struggling as the air flow was severely restricted by Obito's grip, "... Madara, khah... is the one that orchestrated... kha... the whole... khu... event... in which Rin dies... all for... all for you..."
"WHAT!?" Obito screamed, unable to accept what the kid was saying.
'Madara did that!? It was Kirigakure that plotted against Konoha, kidnapped Rin and sealed the Three-Tails in her!' Obito's mind was in a disarray, 'How this could be? Why would Madara do that? No, this must be the true reason for why this mysterious person had planted this information in this kid's head! He knew that I would capture and interrogate the kid when he starts spilling the intel! He must have planted this information to deceive me! That must be it! But I won't fall into your scheme, whoever you are! I won't believe a word out of this kid's mouth, doesn't matter what he says, every word he says must be another scheme of yours, you, who had planted all of it into his mind to target me!'
Every mention of Rin was extremely painful for Obito, especially when it was about that day when Rin died, especially when it was about the circumstances of that day, and especially when it represented a completely different reality than the one that Obito had already accepted in his mind, and all of that was told to him by some pathetic and weak Genin, who is likely just spewing the information that was planted into his mind four years ago by the unknown and mysterious enemy.
With all of that combined, Obito's mind fiercely rejected the information and built up its own version of reality to protect his peace of mind that had already been established a long time ago. All that Obito cared about now, is to achieve his goal and create a world where he and Rin could live together, and everything else doesn't matter to him. He can't allow some unknown enemy to deceive him like that, especially not when it involves his memories of Rin, he won't accept that, he won't allow that to happen...
"You won't be able to deceive me, I won't believe the word you say, and whoever you are, the person who planted this information into this kid's mind, I'll find you and you'll regret what you did!" Obito said angerly.
'What is he talking about?' Yuta thought confusedly.
The next instant, Obito let go of his grip over Yuta's neck and at the same moment, his other hand moved quickly to pierce his heart like a spear.
It all happened too quickly for Yuta to be able to react in time, but sensing the danger and being constantly on guard, Yuta reacted as fast as he could, and he was able to enter his mindscape as Obito's hand was piercing his chest, his skin and ribs, but just the moment before it reached his heart. The next moment Yuta found himself standing on the water surface of the River of Time inside his mindscape.
Yuta clutched his chest, the phantom pain was fading away quickly, but Yuta remembered all too well the feeling how his flesh being pierced by Obito's hand just a moment ago.
'What kind of delusions he concocted in his head I wonder...' Yuta calmly thought as he looked at the water surface with an unfocused look.
As the time moves differently here, there was no urgency to initiate the time-travel right away, so Yuta wasn't in a rush right now.
...
'Well, I wasn't able to gather much information on Obito there, other than that he wears a different mask than the one I remember from the anime, it wasn't the one with the spiral, but it was smooth, orange with some black patterns on it, and he wasn't wearing the Akatsuki's robe.' Yuta calmly analyzed what happened as he sat down on the water surface cross-legged and looked into the horizon thoughtfully.
'It doesn't matter thought, it was still Obito. Why did he moved to kill me just after a few questions like that? This was an illogical and stupid move. He could've gathered much more information from me than that. From his perspective, it would be logical to ask about all the information on him that I have, like he did back there, and then he should've listened to me to the end and asked about what information I already had leaked and to whom...'
'But after hearing about his beloved Rin he instantly snapped, spewed some nonsense and moved to kill me right away... What a moron... Maybe I overestimated him, other than being dangerous due to his Kamui and his Mangekyo Sharingan that being constantly healed and restored after its use by Hashirama's cells, other than that he is just an idiot, a delusional tool for Zetsu and Madara to manipulate...'
'But still, I'm myself is not even close yet to being strong enough to make moves against someone like Obito. I wonder if Shisui would be able to defeat Obito if he knows all of Obito's weaknesses in advance...'
'Well, anyway, this whole unexpected event wasn't without any gain. I learned that I could channel the Calm State from the River of Time even without entering my mindscape, without that I would've probably died for good there. Also, the Calm State could protect my mind from genjutsu, allowing me to think clearly at all times, although it didn't protect my body from being controlled by genjutsu though.'
'And I also learned that Obito is spying on Shisui now, and neither me nor Shisui can detect that we are being watched, that complicates things, I have to think twice of what I say to Shisui at any moment. I also have to warn Shisui about Obito somehow, and do it as soon as possible. Obito's involvement into the Uchiha clan's problem complicates things a lot.'
'Well, the situation looks quite grim and complicated, and with my current strength level comparable to probably just a Chunin, I can't do much by myself, the only way I could make big moves is through Shisui, but knowing how strong Shisui is and that he was actually trusts me, nothing is impossible.'
Yuta looked down at the waters of the River of Time, as he was about to initiate time-travel, he thought.
'I'm glad that I made a rule for myself to never time-travel less than eight hours. If not for that or if I had slacked on that rule today and time-traveled only a few minutes back to get to the meeting place with Shisui on time, I would've being fucked right now, with my time-travel ability requiring eight hours of cooldown with how my soul needs to rest and recover between time-travels. If I'm to be even a little less careful and didn't form the eight-hours rule, it would've been the end of me right now...'
With that thought, Yuta finally initiated the time-travel and calmly watched how his body quickly submerging into the waters of the River of Time, feeling how his thoughts and consciousness are fading away.
