It was the police siren that thrashed my vision. Everything was blurry and fuzzy. I knew I was going to pass out with a bloody side and a knife there. I fall and stumble, but I don't break...I won't break...I can't break. Not yet. I fight for my consciousness but struggle. The police force was running to aid me "in there still in there" I whispered. I then ran and tried to get a gun, but I stopped. I need to kill that thing. The thing that was draining everyone and everything around it...yet it let me live. I want to run, hide, anything to hide from this huge monster that is murdering families. This creature with no heart or warmth within itself.
I take a gun after I'm stitched up, and I run back in them despite the yells of the FBI. I find what I'm looking for the monster of my nightmares. It watches my movements, and I freeze torn between running or staying. This is too scary for my heart to cope with. I decide to run back into the bloody room with no windows and only glass. Then I saw it. The monster in it's in a black cloak of its own shadows its own pain.
I shoot the monster, but it doesn't even notice like it was raining, but I knew it was from a weapon. I'm scared...I wanna go home. I decided to fight for my urge to run. I dash through the corridor and jump as it breaks through the wall. I see a child crying pitifully. I rush over and help them up and try to calm them before the monster appears. The child looks at me and pales...what happened to me?
The girl screamed at me. I look into the shattered mirror. I'm a demon. I shake my head "hey little one". I'm trying to get you to...humans" the word tasted weird in my mouth "they'll patch you right up" I smile and pick her up walking to the door daring the monster to attack. I managed to get the child out.
The ones who once nurtured me are against me.
They scream and fire, and I hiss and the child hugs me. "Run little one goes home" the child nods and runs to the humans and I get shot on my left shoulder. I hide in the doorway panting. I look at my hands which are black and clawed. I shake my head tears forming. They'll be here soon. I get up shakily and find the demon there grinning.
The child points at me making little actions of saving, yet the people just shook her off.
They pushed a little girl to the ground.
Stupid people, bullying a little girl like that.
Then I turn my attention back to the demon.
There was a cry from the crowd, and it was a man's voice shouting "The gay emo duke Aidan of the kingdom of peasants was busy tryna get laid but it was impossible because he is so ugly. Then he found Leon from the unfinished kingdom of bandits and now there is a royal wedding in the palace of unfinished business!"
They aren't very…hidden while engaging each other.
