The matter of Leo losing half his lifespan, while not yet verified, Raphael already felt about ninety percent sure. Otherwise, there was no explaining how a six-year-old kid could awaken. Something that went against the rules like this, not dying was already considered lucky.
'Astrid, it's not my fault, you know. How was I to know this brat would take such a reckless gamble. The key point is he actually succeeded, that's what's so outrageous. Damn it, this kid never lets me rest easy.'
Raphael sighed inwardly, that damn guilty feeling kept hovering in his heart. Even though he understood logically it wasn't his fault, the feeling still wouldn't go away.
As for Leo, he felt that aside from being really good at finding ways to die, everything else was fine. A kid not even three years old knowing how to do everything by himself except finding food, you really couldn't find that in any other household.
