Just as Naraku was about to speak, a dark shadow swept past them from bottom to top. He looked up at the sky.
The perspective switches to an upward shot from his angle.
Under the bright moonlight, a massive dark shadow hovered in mid-air, its two eyes gleaming malevolently. It spread its arms, and behind it, dense, twisted, surging tendrils emerged. Coupled with tense background music, the atmosphere of horror and grotesqueness was pushed to its peak.
Immediately, countless tendrils lashing towards the camera obscured the screen in complete darkness.
[Help me—]
[Mom—!!!]
[I'm a little mouse, I'm going to die~]
[I'm going to have nightmares tonight...]
[!!!]
[Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah it hit my face!!!]
The perspective shifts. In slow motion, the audience clearly sees Kakashi deflecting his body, taking the brunt of the attack himself.
He had wanted to protect Naraku as much as possible, but when he fell to the ground, he still helplessly let go, and the two rolled to different positions.
[Kakashi!]
[At the last moment, he still thought of shielding Naraku!]
[Marararara... it's all marararara...]
[No no no no no no no no no.]
[Are my fated CP going to die together?]
Naraku coughed up two mouthfuls of blood, ignoring the severe pain in his body. Just as he propped himself up, he saw Kakashi struggling to get up on the ground, but the enemy's tendrils were already in front of him.
Don't...
Don't!!!
Kakashi!!!!!
Amidst a heart-wrenching scream from his subconscious, Naraku clearly saw everything before him.
The angles of all the tendril attacks, every tremor and twist, the ripples created in the air as they cut through it, and the countless dust particles carried by the airflow.
He picked up his ninja sword, struggled to his feet, and ran, stepping over inches of cold earth and a chasm that, though seemingly not far, felt like a thousand fathoms.
As he rushed past the side of the camera, his eyes completely turned a vivid red.
A continuous series of dense metallic clashes rang out in front of Kakashi, accompanied by sporadic sparks.
Heavy breathing, tinged with the smell of blood, permeated the surrounding air.
The camera pulls back. Naraku stood in front of Kakashi, his blood-red eyes burning fiercely in the darkness.
After the awakening of his eyes, the animator once again focused the camera on his eyes.
In those blood-glowing eyes, two tomoe were spinning ceaselessly, as if never to stop.
[Watching Kakashi die in front of him, Naraku would really go crazy, wouldn't he?]
[That scream made me cry!]
[Both are willing to die for each other (sobbing).]
[Holy shit!]
[Holy shit!]
[Holy shit!]
[Holy shit! Two-Tomoe Sharingan!]
[Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah!]
[How old is Naraku? 9 years old! A 9-year-old Two-Tomoe Sharingan!]
[It's awesome! It's awesome! (screaming)]
[So cool ah ah ah ah ah!]
[Awakening his eyes to protect his friend is incredibly cool!]
[This is the Sharingan born for love and protection!!!]
[For Naraku, the Sharingan has never been a curse.]
The enemy spoke for the first time in front of Kakashi and Naraku, his voice deep and vicious, implying that he would dig out Naraku's eyes and sell them on the black market.
Naraku, in a fierce tone, tried to drive Kakashi away, but the latter wiped off the blood that was blurring his eyes and said he wouldn't lie.
[Get away, you tentacle monster!]
[If you dare touch Naraku, I'll write you into my fanfiction!]
[He just awakened his Two-Tomoe Sharingan for Kakashi, and then turns around and says that? Only a fool would believe him.]
[This inconsistency is just perfect; that's the Uchiha vibe!]
[With their dialogue, it's really hard not to ship them!]
[I stand Naka for a second!!!]
The camera switches to Minato's side.
Might Duy's taijutsu could only temporarily suppress the masked clone; the latter could always deform to dodge most of the impact, making it difficult for him to inflict fatal damage.
Minato seized a fleeting opportunity, pulled out a bundle of scrolls, tore them open, and formed a few hand signs. The incantations inside quickly flew out, transforming into several black ropes that tightly bound the masked clone suppressed by Might Duy, spreading and tightening on its body.
Because he had to control the sealing technique, he could only throw a bundle of exploding tags to Might Duy, telling him to hurry alone to rescue Naraku.
"Senior Duy, I'll handle things here. You go save them quickly!"
"Leave it to me!"
Might Duy followed the tracks, praying that Naraku and Kakashi would be alright by the time he arrived.
[Minato! A reliable man!]
[Why didn't he use it earlier?]
[Who would have thought that a tentacle monster could live even with a rotten heart? Why waste a sealing technique scroll?]
[Uncle, hurry, hurry!]
Naraku and Kakashi struggled on for a few more rounds with the enemy, but the power gap was too great, and they were ultimately blown away by a final Wind Release.
"To be able to use such ninjutsu, you are worthy of being my heart."
With that, the opponent's arm extended, about to pierce through Kakashi and Naraku's bodies to extract their hearts.
[Where are the teammates?!]
[Minato! Uncle Dai! Come quickly!]
[It's really too oppressive. The two of them keep breaking through their limits, but they still can't defeat this tentacle monster.]
[Heart? What heart?]
[Heart extraction?]
[Holy crap, that's too brutal!]
Might Duy arrived in time, finally saving Naraku and Kakashi.
The camera shows the two masked clones. One was still entangled with Kazama and Ishikawa, but the Fire Release it emitted was not as powerful as before. The other was covered in incantations, about to be sealed by Minato.
The audience thought this tentacle monster was finally about to be dealt with, but the opponent quickly recalled its two clones and commanded the fire-attribute clone to self-destruct.
After the highly impactful explosion, the enemy disappeared, leaving behind only a terrifying, charred giant crater, and the nearby Matsukata residence, almost half-collapsed and in ruins.
[Uncle! Uncle! I'll be your fan for life (crying).]
[These two things are about to be finished.]
[Once the fight over there is done, six against one will definitely wear him down.]
[What? It still has chakra to self-destruct??]
[Ho—ly—crap—]
[Mushroom cloud!]
[Time to grow a big mushroom!]
[Konoha: You're telling me this is a B-rank mission?? (pointing at the explosion crater)]
[Matsukata: ...I don't know.]
This difficult battle finally ended. Although the outcome wasn't great, in the audience's eyes, no familiar characters were missing, which was already a good ending.
The group found a relatively decent spot to gather, placing the injured on a dry rock and frantically providing first aid.
Naraku's eyes were vacant; he didn't know what he was thinking.
Beside him, Minato was bandaging his wound, cutting open his clothes. The audience could see that the injury under his ribs was quite severe, still seeping blood, and almost half of his upper garment was soaked.
With such a degree of blood loss, he not only endured a direct confrontation with the tentacle monster but also stubbornly remained conscious even now.
[This whole large area is black and red, oh oh oh oh.]
[He must have broken several ribs inside.]
[For an ordinary person to lose so much blood and still be standing is already amazing.]
[Naraku isn't going to pass out with his eyes open, is he?]
[Huh???]
