Riya smiled faintly when she saw the bouquet of roses in Adis's hands. Then she glanced at the CEO and said, half teasing, half annoyed—
Riya:
"Adis, you did bring roses, fine—but because of your 'fun,' I almost died last night! And my boss couldn't sleep the entire night."
For the first time, the CEO didn't feel anger toward Adis. Instead, he realized that this crazy man was actually Riya's shield. He stood up and spoke calmly—
CEO:
"Thank you, Adis. Because of your strange behavior last night, I understood how important Riya is to me. But next time, please be a little more careful with your jokes."
Adis grinned widely as he placed the roses in a vase and leaned toward Riya, whispering—
Adis:
"See? One accident and the ice melted! Your grumpy boss has turned into a soaked kitten. But the real news is—your father has arrived. He's in the hospital parking lot. He's coming up."
Riya's smile vanished instantly. The CEO's jaw tightened again. He squeezed Riya's hand firmly, silently promising that he wouldn't run away this time.
The cabin door opened slowly.
Mr. Chowdhury walked in—alone. No bodyguards. His eyes were red, as if he hadn't slept all night, terrified of losing his daughter.
He stared at the CEO for a long moment, then walked toward Riya's bed.
Mr. Chowdhury:
"How are you, my child?"
Riya (coldly):
"Do you really care, Dad? You were talking about killing him last night."
Mr. Chowdhury sighed deeply and turned to the CEO.
Mr. Chowdhury:
"When Adis called me last night and said you were in the hospital, I realized something for the first time—power can't buy everything.
(looking at the CEO)
Young man, you saved my daughter. I admit defeat. Not my authority, not her stubbornness—her trust in you won today."
The CEO bowed his head respectfully.
Mr. Chowdhury placed a hand on his shoulder.
Mr. Chowdhury:
"From now on, protecting my daughter is your responsibility. But remember—if Riya ever cries because of you, I'll return far more dangerous than last night."
Tears of happiness rolled down Riya's cheeks.
From behind, Adis clapped loudly.
"YES! So when's the grand wedding?"
Two days passed.
Riya had fully recovered and returned to her confident self. But today was different. As she stepped into the office lobby from her luxury car, all eyes turned toward her. Everyone now knew—Riya wasn't just an assistant. She was the daughter of a powerful family.
She sat at her desk in an elegant formal suit, calm and confident. The office felt unusually tense.
Suddenly, the CEO walked out of his cabin.
Silence fell.
He stopped in front of Riya's desk, holding a cup of hot coffee and a small file.
CEO (softly, smiling):
"Miss Riya, don't you think diving straight into work after two days is bad for your health? Here—your coffee."
She took the cup, surprised.
Riya:
"Thank you, sir. But the work has piled up. And didn't you say I'd be penalized if I slacked off?"
CEO:
"That was before. Now, there's a special bonus waiting for you. Come to my cabin later—I need your signature on an important file."
When Riya entered the cabin, she found no documents—only a bouquet of blue roses and a dinner invitation.
CEO:
"Riya, today is a new beginning. No hiding. No fear. Tonight, I want to finalize our wedding date with your father."
Riya lowered her head shyly.
Just then, someone appeared outside the glass window.
Adis.
Holding a sign that read:
"Can I be the third wheel?"
Both Riya and the CEO burst out laughing.
Then Riya suddenly said—
Riya:
"But… I'm not getting married now."
The CEO froze.
CEO:
"Did I do something wrong? Your father agreed. Are you still unsure about me?"
Riya walked toward him and held his hands firmly.
Riya:
"I have no doubt about you. But I fought to stand on my own without using my father's name. If I marry you now, people will say I moved from my father's shadow to my husband's. I want to rise higher in this company on my own merit. I want people to know me as a successful professional before they call me your wife."
The CEO looked at her in awe.
CEO:
"Then what do you want?"
Riya (smiling):
"I want us to love each other. I want time. I want to work beside you—not as your assistant, but someday as your business partner. Marriage can wait."
From outside, Adis shouted—
Adis:
"That's my girl! Mr. CEO, you'll have to work harder to deserve her!"
The CEO laughed and kissed Riya's forehead.
CEO:
"Challenge accepted, Miss Riya. But remember—I'm still your boss. Skip work, and dinner dates are canceled."
Riya (saluting):
"Yes, Boss!"
As Riya returned to her desk, fully focused on work, the CEO watched her through the glass wall, smiling softly.
But then—
An anonymous envelope landed on Riya's desk.
Inside were edited photos from the café—made to look like Adis and the CEO were conspiring against her father.
Riya's expression hardened.
Riya:
"So the war isn't over."
She stormed into the CEO's cabin and slammed the photos on his desk.
Riya:
"Someone's watching us. They want to destroy your company and my family."
Before he could respond, Adis rushed in with a laptop.
Adis:
"I traced it. It's your cousin—Arian. The one who wanted to marry you to steal your father's assets."
Riya straightened, fire in her eyes.
Riya:
"Sir, are you ready? Not as an assistant—this time, I want to fight beside you."
The CEO stepped forward, impressed by her resolve.
CEO:
"This is exactly what I wanted, Riya. Let's teach Arian what happens when you challenge us.
Ria, the CEO, and Adis began following Arian like detectives.
Arian had just left the office parking lot in a black car and was heading somewhere unknown. His car moved through the city's narrow, crowded alleys, while the three of them followed him in an ordinary taxi.
Adis was visibly excited, tracking Arian's GPS on his laptop.
Adis: "Looks like he's heading toward an old warehouse area. I'm sure that's his secret hideout!"
When Arian's car stopped in front of an abandoned factory, they got out of the taxi and started moving quietly. The CEO walked in front, Ria in the middle, and Adis behind. Hugging the walls, they advanced on tiptoe.
Suddenly, Arian seemed to hear a sound and tried to turn around.
Panicking, Ria quickly tried to hide behind the CEO—but in her haste, she stepped on an oily metal can.
BANG!
Ria slipped and crashed straight into the CEO's back. Unable to keep his balance, the CEO slammed into an old wardrobe in front of him—and the wardrobe toppled right onto Adis!
Ria: "Oh my God! What just happened?!"
In seconds, the entire area echoed with loud noise. The silence was shattered completely.
Arian, who had been standing nearby, turned around—and froze.
Instead of professional spies, he saw his sister, her boss, and Adis piled on the floor like a circus act.
Arian (laughing loudly):
"Ria? Did you guys come here to perform a circus? You really thought following me would be that easy?"
The CEO pulled Ria up. Her clothes were covered in dust. While brushing off her jacket, Ria pointed at Arian.
Ria: "Stop laughing, Arian! We know everything now. Your blackmail plan won't work anymore!"
From beneath the wardrobe, Adis somehow stuck his head out and yelled:
Adis: "Ria, argue later—get me out of this junk first! My handsome face is ruined!"
Arian pulled out a remote control from his pocket, a cruel smile on his face.
Arian: "You're too late, Ria. The moment you entered this warehouse, all the doors were automatically locked. You're trapped in my web now."
Inside the dark warehouse, the CEO and Adis immediately started blaming each other. Arian hadn't tied them up, but the heavy iron doors were locked from outside.
CEO (angrily):
"This is all your fault! If you hadn't been dancing around with that laptop, we could've stayed quiet!"
Adis:
"Oh please! You were walking like a hero in front. It was your expensive shoes that made all the noise! Can't those luxury shoes walk silently?"
CEO:
"Don't talk about my shoes! Because of you, Ria is in danger today!"
Adis:
"Because of me? You're her boss—who knows why she trusted you! I could've been a better detective than you!"
As the two of them moved closer, shouting at each other, Ria finally lost her patience. She stood for a moment, holding her head—then suddenly stormed toward them.
Ria: "WILL YOU TWO SHUT UP?!"
She grabbed both the CEO and Adis by their collars and, without thinking, smashed their heads together.
THUD!
Their foreheads collided—and at the same instant, Ria grabbed their faces so tightly that they accidentally kissed each other!
The warehouse fell dead silent.
The CEO's eyes went wide. Adis looked traumatized. They jumped apart instantly.
CEO (pretending to gag):
"Ria! What did you do?! My first kiss—with this lunatic?!"
Adis (shocked):
"Oh no! Ria, you've destroyed me! My pure lips touched an arrogant boss?!"
Ria stood with her hands on her waist, glaring at them.
Ria:
"Now use your brains and find a way out! Or I'll make you kiss again—then we'll see how funny it is!"
Seeing her furious side, both the CEO and Adis straightened up immediately. They realized—worse than danger itself was an angry Ria.
Just then, a rope dropped down from a small window above. Someone was coming to help.
Ria's madness had completely scrambled the CEO's thoughts. He tried to shake off the horrifying memory of colliding with Adis. While Adis was busy wiping his lips, the CEO suddenly turned and lifted Ria into his arms—bridal style.
Ria: "Sir! What are you doing? Put me down!"
The CEO said nothing. His eyes burned with possessiveness. Pulling her closer, he kissed her deeply and passionately—ignoring Adis completely.
The world seemed to stop.
In the dusty, damp warehouse, only their breathing could be heard.
Adis stood frozen, eyes wide, his laptop almost slipping from his hands.
Adis (murmuring):
"Oh wow… this just turned into a Korean drama hot scene. Am I just standing here to cut grass?"
When the CEO finally pulled away, Ria's cheeks were bright red. She rested her head against his chest, breathless.
The CEO whispered into her ear:
CEO:
"Never let your lips touch anyone else again. They belong only to me."
Adis trembled, pulling at his hair.
Adis:
"Hello?! Romance over yet? Because Arian is opening the door! He's about to faint watching this!"
The iron door creaked open. Arian entered with his men—and stopped dead.
Ria was in the CEO's arms, surrounded by an almost magical atmosphere.
Arian:
"Did you come here to die—or to honeymoon?"
Ria suddenly jumped down. A mysterious smile appeared on her face.
The CEO and Adis watched in shock as she walked slowly toward Arian.
Standing very close to him, she whispered softly:
Ria:
"Arian… brother… you're doing all this just for the property, right?
But do you know something? You actually look very handsome when you're angry."
Arian froze. He had expected tears or fear—but not this.
Ria began unbuttoning his shirt slowly, carefully.
Ria:
"It's hot in this warehouse. You must be uncomfortable. Take your shirt off… relax.
We didn't do anything wrong. We were just out for a walk. Take all the property if you want—just let us go."
Arian was completely hypnotized. His gun slowly lowered.
Behind him, Adis whispered to the CEO:
Adis:
"Boss… look at her! She's a bigger player than you. She's hypnotizing him!"
The CEO clenched his jaw. Watching Ria touch Arian's shirt was unbearable—but he knew she was doing it to save them.
Ria (softly):
"So? Will you let us go… or do you want me to stay here with you?"
Arian (dazed):
"Yes… Ria… do whatever you want. Just go…"
In one swift move, Ria snatched the keys from his pocket—and slammed her knee into his stomach!
Ria:
"Enjoyed it? Now take your shirt off in prison!"
She shouted, "RUN!"
Arian collapsed, but his men charged forward.
Inside the warehouse, a wild chase began.
Ria ran toward the back gate with the keys, the CEO and Adis behind her.
The CEO turned back, seeing the goons close in.
CEO: "Ria! Give the keys to Adis! You two run—I'll hold them off!"
Adis: "No way, sir! You're the hero—beat them up! I'll get Ria out safely!"
Ignoring them, Ria struggled to unlock the gate—her hands shaking.
Just then, the CEO turned back.
CEO:
"Enough hiding. Time to show who the boss really is!"
He threw his jacket into a goon's face and launched into brutal combat.
Adis grabbed an old lantern and joined in.
Adis:
"Don't you dare touch my Ria!"
Finally, the gate opened.
Ria: "It's open! Hurry!"
They escaped and locked the gate from outside.
But danger wasn't over.
Arian emerged with a revolver.
Arian: "Ria! I won't let you live!"
Just as he pulled the trigger—police sirens wailed.
Adis smiled, pulling out his phone.
Adis:
"Thought I only play games? I sent the location to the police while hacking.
Welcome to jail, bro."
Arian tried to run—but the CEO tackled him and slapped him hard.
CEO:
"That's the price for touching my future wife."
