The Sinnoh region is a place where many myths and stories are told.
Canalave City is a port city where the water sparkles beautifully.
Canalave City is very special because a canal divides the city into two halves. It is a city full of exotic charm.
Damian and the others walked out of the airport. They saw the appearance of the city at a single glance.
"So this is Caitlin's home region. It really has a nice local feel," Zinnia said.
She looked around with curiosity. She was very interested in this region because it was Caitlin's home.
"Yes... I haven't been back for a long time."
Caitlin's blonde hair swayed in the breeze. Her eyes looked a bit distant.
Stepping onto the soil of Sinnoh again made her feel quite complicated.
How could she describe it?
It felt like the scenery was the same, but the people had changed. Even though she had only been gone for about half a year...
It really felt like too much had happened. Her mindset had already changed a lot a long time ago.
"Gladion, go gather the organization members. Head to Jubilife City and buy several buildings there."
Damian gave Gladion his orders. To be safe, the Team Rocket members were entering the Sinnoh region in separate groups.
Jubilife City was the largest city in the Sinnoh region. Of course, they had to establish the company there.
"Yes," Gladion nodded.
"Let's take a good look around the city."
Damian said they would look around, but his goal was actually very clear. He headed toward the most famous library in Canalave City.
The Canalave Library was one of the city's famous landmarks. It also held many books about the legends of Sinnoh.
The three of them arrived there.
'In the beginning, there was only a swirl of chaos. Everything was mixed together. An egg appeared in the center of it. After the egg fell, Arceus was born from it.'
'Arceus created two beings. Because of them, time began to flow and space began to expand.'
'Later, it gave birth to three living things from its own body.'
'After the two beings prayed, 'matter' was born. After the three living things prayed, the 'spirit' was born.'
'After creating the world, Arceus fell into a long sleep.'
Damian read the book titled The Original Story in a soft voice. Zinnia and Caitlin sat across from him.
"Tsk. Are the stories here in Sinnoh always this exaggerated?"
Zinnia closed the book in front of her, Sinnoh's Mythology. She felt that Sinnoh was just too unbelievable.
In her home region of Hoenn, the myths were mostly about Groudon and Kyogre fighting. The people prayed for Rayquaza to descend and save them from the disaster.
But wow, the myths here in Sinnoh were directly about the creation of the world?
That was way too exaggerated!
"However, this isn't fake," Damian said. He closed the book and spoke with a smile.
Hearing this, Zinnia froze. Caitlin also looked at Damian in shock.
"Damian, you don't mean to say this is all true, right?"
Zinnia grabbed The Original Story and asked in a loud, surprised voice.
What was written in this book? Simply put, a creature appeared in the chaos. This creature created two beings and then created three more lives.
Then, the beings created 'matter' and the lives created the 'spirit.' After creating the world, the first creature fell asleep.
This was literally the creation of the universe!!
Was it actually real?
"Don't be so surprised. It really is true," Damian laughed a little. He looked toward Caitlin.
Zinnia took a breath. She did not doubt that Damian was telling the truth.
If Damian said it, then it was definitely true!
"Caitlin, do you know the Pokémon in Sinnoh's myths?" Damian asked her.
"Uxie brought 'knowledge' to humans. Mesprit taught humans 'emotion.' Azelf gave humans 'willpower'."
Caitlin thought for a moment. Thanks to her old friend Cynthia and her love for mythology, Caitlin did indeed know a lot about Sinnoh's legends.
"There are also two other Pokémon from the myths. Palkia controls space. Legends say that when Palkia breathes, space becomes stable."
"And then there is Dialga, who rules time. When Dialga's heart beats, time flows. But in reality, no one in modern times has ever truly seen them."
"Cynthia said that based on her research, Dialga and Palkia live in the cracks between time and space," Caitlin explained slowly.
"Hiss!"
Zinnia felt like she had already seen a lot of the world, but what Caitlin said was still too crazy.
"Aren't they basically 'Gods' then?" Zinnia shared her thought.
In reality, even though the Draconid people respected the 'Dragon God' Rayquaza, Zinnia understood one thing. At the end of the day, Rayquaza was just an incredibly powerful Pokémon. It could not be called a true 'deity.'
This included other names like Zekrom, Lugia, Ho-Oh, and Kyurem. They weren't true gods either.
It was just human respect for a faith and the people's hope for such powerful Pokémon, so they called them by divine names.
For example, those who believe in Lugia call it the 'God of the Sea.' But is Lugia actually a 'God of the Sea'?
But the ones Caitlin mentioned... living in the cracks of time and space, affecting everything with their every move... were they really not gods?
"Strictly speaking, they are indeed 'Gods.' There is no problem with calling them that," Damian nodded.
In the world of Pokémon, there are technically no true 'deities.' People might call them legendary or mythical, but they are still Pokémon.
However, there are a few that are truly different!
Arceus doesn't even need to be mentioned. It is the origin of everything. The universe and the world all started from it.
And then there are the three that represent 'matter': Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina.
The three of them represent space, time, and antimatter. Their status is simply too high. It is incredibly high.
If something goes wrong with Palkia or Dialga, the entire world and even parallel worlds will be affected. This situation actually happened in the Journeys anime.
As for Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf, who are also part of the six from the start of the world... they could really be considered useless by comparison.
In terms of status, Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf are not low at all. But in terms of battle power, they are really weak.
So, a very interesting point appears here: status does not represent personal strength.
Compared to Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf, Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina are completely different. Palkia's power is very strong, and Giratina's is especially powerful.
Although Giratina was tricked by a human in a movie and almost died, its strength is truly excellent.
It dragged Dialga into the Distortion World and beat it up like crazy. Dialga didn't even dare to fight back; it only focused on running away.
In the Arceus movie, Dialga and Palkia were almost beaten to death in a few hits by the darkened Arceus. It was Giratina who held on much longer. The difference was clear.
Of course, it might also be because Dialga and Palkia lacked their Origin Orbs, so their strength wasn't at its peak.
But no matter what, even if they could take their Origin Forms, Damian felt these two still weren't as good as Giratina.
Also, in the Hoopa movie, Giratina took a Dragon Ascent move from a Shiny Rayquaza and nothing happened. Even though a Flying-type move like Dragon Ascent isn't super effective against Giratina, it didn't even show a reaction.
It was clear that Giratina's strength is definitely not weaker than a Shiny Rayquaza.
Compared to Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina, Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf were more than just a little bit weak.
But status is still status. Team Galactic managed to capture Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf and extract their power to create the Red Chain. They used it to connect time and space and control the summoned Dialga and Palkia.
This shows that Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf can't compare to the other three, but it isn't actually that bad. Or maybe they have just lived too peacefully since the start of the world, so they don't know how to use their power?
Who knows.
"Amazing... Then Caitlin, do you know who Arceus is?"
After her shock, Zinnia was filled with curiosity.
Who wouldn't want to know the origin of the world? Zinnia was very curious about who created this world.
"That... I'm not sure."
Caitlin thought about it carefully and then shook her head.
"But it might be... Arceus?"
"Arceus?" Zinnia was confused. "Arceus? Is there a link to the Sinnoh region?"
"Yes. Back then, our Sinnoh was called the Hisui region. Legend says Arceus created the Hisui region. To worship Arceus, the Celestica people built the Sinnoh Temple at the base of Mt. Coronet."
"But the Sinnoh Temple was destroyed a long time ago. It became ruins. Now it is called Spear Pillar," Caitlin answered.
"I see." Zinnia felt it was a pity.
"Caitlin, I have a question. Have you heard of Michina Town?"
Damian stayed silent for a moment and then asked Caitlin.
Michina Town was the setting for the Arceus movie.
"Michina Town? I think I've heard of it. I heard there are some well-preserved ruins there."
Caitlin recalled the name. She had indeed heard of this town.
Because Michina Town had ruins from thousands of years ago that were very well-preserved, it was somewhat famous.
"Michina Town really exists. Does that mean it will be like the movie? Or not?"
Damian thought to himself. No way, man. I hope I don't have to find a way to fight Arceus.
That would be truly difficult.
No, no, no. Looking on the bright side, maybe Michina Town just exists, but the events of the movie haven't happened.
And with Dialga around, at worst, they could just travel through time. It wasn't impossible.
