I didn't really hesitate to get comfy for the night since I'm exhausted, especially since I haven't slept since we left the church.
The makeshift beds aren't really that bad for something that we just put together, but I do think it is enough for tonight.
I turnover, my vision facing the right side of the tent, away from the opening. Nobody else is inside of the tent with me so I don't have to worry about anyone watching me.
Mostly it was amelia and her fascination with the infection in my arm, not that I really blame her for being so curious about it.
"Anyone would be interested when a human is still alive after being inflicted with an infection like this," Celeste says with more of a calm tone in her voice now.
I knew you'd show up when everyone else disappeared for the night.
"I've been trying to understand what I can do to avoid the reaction from earlier," Celeste responds. "There's just no clear paths for me to follow."
