Chapter 128 - Chapter 33: ORA ORA ORA

"Flying Hammer!"

"Cat Landing!"

"Bear Palm Strike!"

"Taste my Flying Crane Catches Shrimp!"

"Two Dragons Play with Pearl!"

"Gorilla Snaps Branch!"

"Angry Crow Takes Flight!"

The Symbiote Demon Vic, with a body the size of a mountain, used the explosive thrust of his tail fin to launch himself into the air. Then, with the force of Mount Tai collapsing, he sat down hard right on the center of the Kraken's massive body!

BOOM—!!!

It felt like a magnitude 12 earthquake hit the seabed ruins. The shockwave leveled the surrounding debris completely!

"Eat my combo! ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!"

Vic was in the zone, unable to stop. His fists turned into a blur of shadows, raining down like a torrential storm on the Kraken, which had lost all will to fight!

Fist meets flesh. Every hit exploded with terrifying waves of energy!

Combo! Infinite Combo!

The rest of the fight had zero suspense. It was a completely one-sided stomp.

It was like a dad beating his son—filled with absolute physical dominance and... a hint of educational intent?

Vic finally understood why protagonists in shonen anime always screamed while rushing in to brawl.

Sure, acting like a mastermind villain, strategizing from behind the scenes while your pawns charge into battle, is cool and classy.

But... personally entering the fray, using absolute power to deliver an "ORA ORA" beatdown, feeling the primal, direct impact of clashing strength...

It felt... way better!

"Vic and Venom defeated the Big Sea Monster!"

The Kraken had been beaten into submission. All its tentacles drooped limply.

Its massive body was crumpled into a ball, shivering and letting out tiny, aggrieved whimpers. It actually looked kind of pathetic.

Its simple mind finally woke up from the mind-controlled rage, leaving only primal fear and... a massive sense of injustice.

To be fair, Vic hadn't gone for the kill. It was more of a "lesson" and a "beat-into-submission" session.

After all, the poor thing was innocent.

It was sleeping peacefully in its deep-sea home, got yanked out by weird music to be a thug, and then got inexplicably beaten to a pulp. Who could it even complain to?

"Vic, we stopping?"

Venom controlled the massive head to tilt sideways. Its large white eyes flashed with unsatisfied greed. The giant tongue licked over sharp teeth, making a raspy sound:

"I wanted to taste its brain... Its secondary brain was so chewy and delicious. I bet the main brain tastes exquisite. Slurp—"

As it spoke, it swallowed saliva audibly, the sound echoing clearly in the deep sea.

The Kraken shuddered violently, tucking its head in tighter until it was practically a sphere.

"Forget it, forget it," Vic said, his voice carrying the lazy satisfaction of a post-workout high.

"It's just a poor mind-controlled worm. A lesson is enough to make it remember. Besides, it did 'sing' to welcome us earlier, even if it was off-key."

Hearing this, the Kraken's massive head nodded up and down like a chicken pecking rice. It let out soft, fawning whimpers, terrified that if it nodded too slowly, its brain would become dessert.

"What are you doing?! Attack! Do not stop!"

Abraham Van Helsing stood on the crumbling DJ tower, roaring at the cowering Kraken below. His fingers trembled with extreme rage.

However, the response was dead silence.

The mountain-sized beast not only ignored the order but actually shrunk its massive body further into the ruins.

Several giant tentacles subconsciously covered the wounds where it had been torn and its battered head.

It opened its one good eye and glanced lazily at the high platform. The look in that eye was filled with extremely human-like emotion—

A mix of "You do it then," "Shut up," and "I quit"—pure disdain and scorn.

The look seemed to say: "Did you not see how hard I just got beaten? Attack? You go attack. I'm done."

"Fine... Fine then..."

Abraham was completely triggered by that look. Veins popped on his forehead.

He gave up on the useless beast. His withered fingers, like eagle claws, slammed down on the keys marked with dangerous skull symbols on the console.

He prepared to disregard everything and max out the output, playing the final, ultimate melody of destruction!

If he couldn't control the beast, he would drag Atlantis and these monsters down to hell with him!

Just then—

Whistle~

A clear, slightly mocking whistle came from very close behind him. And what made Abraham's pupils shrink and his eyes bulge was—

Enid was extending a gleaming claw. Her fingertip, precise as a scalpel, rested lightly on the thickest main cable connecting the massive speakers to the central control unit!

She wore a mischievous, little-devil smile. She blinked her blue eyes as if to say: "Guess what I'm gonna do?"

"Don't you dare—!!!"

Abraham let out a desperate, furious scream, instinctively lunging to stop her!

But it was too late.

Wednesday and Enid exchanged a knowing look.

Wednesday raised an eyebrow almost imperceptibly, and Enid responded with an even brighter smile.

Then, her sharp claw hooked the cable elegantly and lightly pulled to the side—

ZZZT!

Sparks flew!

The crucial cable snapped!

Half the lights on the console died instantly. The magical melody coming from the speakers sounded like a rooster being choked, letting out a screech of static before cutting off abruptly!

The whole world seemed much quieter instantly.

"You brat! I'll kill you!!"

Abraham's reason was completely consumed by rage. Like a wounded beast, eyes red, he charged recklessly at the two girls who had ruined his plan.

However, just as he took a step—

"Hmph!"

A cold snort, heavy with echo, hit him like a polar wind from behind!

Simultaneously, a stream of freezing seawater blasted him like a high-pressure fire hose, soaking him to the bone and nearly knocking him over.

Abraham froze in place. His rage was instantly extinguished by the bone-chilling cold, replaced by uncontrollable, primal terror.

His body began to tremble uncontrollably. Like a rusty gear, he turned around slowly, bit by bit.

The first thing that entered his vision was a chest as wide as a city wall, covered in spectral blue and pitch-black scales.

His gaze trembled as it moved upward, passing the hideous, massive head covered in flowing black substance...

Finally...

He met the pair of giant eyes—ghastly white, like the entrance to the abyss—looking down at him.

Vic, in his Symbiote Demon form, grinned slightly, revealing a mouth full of layered, razor-sharp teeth.

A long, barbed tongue lashed out like a python, licking the tips of his fangs.

A terrifying voice, blending Vic's mockery and Venom's hunger, rang above his head like a death knell:

"Old man, who did you say you wanted to... kill?"
