Chapter 19 - NOTICE

AUTHOR NOTICE — Canon, Timeline & "WHY ISN'T HE OP???" Emergency Clarification

Alright. Everyone breathe. Hydrate. Stop fighting ghosts in the comments. Let's untangle this before reality fractures.

First — Aditya does NOT have Percy Jackson lore installed in his brain like a pirated DLC pack.

All he knows is that Percy is the hero.

That's it.

No quest timeline. No spoiler roadmap. No prophetic Google Maps. His memory is fragmented, fuzzy, and about as trustworthy as a prophecy written by Rachel having a dramatic episode. If he knew everything, there would be no story — just speedrunning and emotional damage.

Second — this story runs PARALLEL to canon.

Percy is still Percy. Canon quests remain canon quests. Aditya is not replacing the main character, hijacking the plot, or secretly rewriting the universe because he woke up shiny.

If he's not present during canon events, that is intentional. The narrative equivalent of: "You are not allowed in this boss fight."

Some canon outcomes may evolve for crossover reasons — but sacrifice, consequences, and emotional weight are staying exactly where they belong. Nobody is getting plot armor just because this is fanfiction. Pain is part of the package.

Now — the combat confusion, because apparently this one triggered a council meeting:

Yes. Pre-reincarnation Aditya trained in martial arts.

No. That does NOT automatically make him a sword demigod.

Punching air ≠ fighting with a blade.

Weapons have different mechanics, spacing, leverage, timing, and battlefield rhythm. He's adapting existing fundamentals into a new discipline. That's why he improves faster than average…

…while still getting humbled by reality like a normal learner.

And yes — he has Shiva's boon of weapon mastery.

Before anyone screams:

"THEN WHY IS HE NOT INSTANTLY GOD-TIER???"

Because divine boons are NOT cheat codes.

They are more like supernatural fast-learning software with zero warranty. The boon opens doors.

He still has to walk through them.

Sometimes face-first.

Repeatedly.

Thank you for reading, theorizing, overanalyzing, and accidentally feeding the algorithm like it's a hungry cosmic entity. Continue doing that. Views = power. Comments = chaos fuel. Engagement = narrative steroids.

Now return to the story and watch this idiot try not to die.
