Chapter 1 - Chaos Emergence

Lucid light burned through Arthur's eyelids as he tried guessing the time by looking at the sun. It wasn't that he could tell the time, but because he was bored and had nothing doing.

" Dude what are you doing over there, the principal wants an audience with us." A voice called out to him. He turn and looked at the senior prefect, David.

Arthur sighed, " Can I skip it? " " Nope." David replied almost instantly. Dejectedly Arthur followed, walking down the stairs of the class the final year students used as their classroom.

The hall was quite spacious, large enough to contain over a thousand students. Yet it was divided into two sections, the science and art.

Arthur belonged to the science, not because he could brag about being as intelligent as he was in junior high. But because he felt the art section was to easy for him, and the science hard enough to make him strive.

Yet he didn't stive or take anything serious, despite being the first child of his parents. Life was merely a gentle breeze to him, a breeze which would carry him in its flow.

The only thing which gave him purpose was fighting and causing pain to others. Although he hid his sadistic nature under a convincing smile, those around him knew the demon underneath.

Caring only for himself was a trait everyone knew. Never apologized and always sort for ways to step above others; this was what made juniors dread and hate him so much.

Walking side by side with the senior prefect, a lesser sadistic being, terror squeezed the hearts of juniors. ' Sigh, get me out of this mess dear God.' Outside the staff office stood the Principal.

Besides her were the male and female vice principals, Arthur didn't bother to know who was the Administration or Academic. He just knew them as VPs.

Before the leading trio of the Macbeth Senior High were the school's current prefects. " With the Senior perfect and Disciplinary prefect here we shall commence."

Arthur started at everyone present, he gaze lingering on a particular girl before looking up to the principal. ' Fool had to keep me under this scorching sun and blab nonsense in my ear.' he thought listening to the announcement.

" The school is holding it annual sports competition, so you all are needed to lead the students to the hall. " Mrs Lovett instructed. " David, you and the disciplinary prefect if to punish anyone how tries to misbehave."

Coughing lightly, " The rest of you stick to directing the students, I don't need everyone running about with canes and hitting juniors indiscriminately." After say that Arthur lost track of what she was saying and stared at the sky.

' Are clouds disappearing into thin air or is John's cocaine getting to me… oh, I don't even take that shit.' David pulled him by the arm and he lost interest in the weird occurance.

" Blessed is already directing the year one students out, arm yourself bro, the sophomores are getting rebellious." David said handing him a thin flexible wooden stick.

It entered Arthur's hands before he could keep his mind still, David left but he stood holding his head. For some reason his head was ringing, he shook it violently and walked over to his assigned post.

His job was mostly inexistent as the students remained in order for most of the time. About a few minutes into the controlling, a loud noise resounded in the second year block.

' Sheeps can't remain obedient.' As fast as a dart he dashed towards the distant second year learning facility. From a distant he could already see the SP ( senior prefect ) and some other prefects engaging some male sophomores.

Within the following seconds, his cane fell like the executioner's axe, striking a boy across the back. A pained screech followed with a loud shout, " He's here, run, He's here. "

But it was too late, Arthur's hands moved at quicker reflexes, striking multiple people before they could comprehend who had arrived.

Henry, the labour prefect pushed him away from flogging innocent people, in the process or maybe fellow prefects. " What happened." Arthur asked the burly boy.

" A kid challenged Mary when she told him to stop copying notes and move to the hall." Arthur cracked his neck, his face stern. " Continue from here I would handle him."

He walked towards the gathering of a few prefects. David stood in their presence, interrogating the accused student. Arthur however didn't interrogate, he acted with his will.

Dragging the boy up by the collar he shoved him away from the gathering of the seniors. Arthur trashed the boy and could have continued if he wasn't stopped at the last moment.

" The principal ordered for you, leave him, and remember your acts would be directed back to your brother." David said with a voice of authority, his hand on Arthur's chest.

' Sigh, Fuckin joy killer .' Giving one last look to the rebellious junior, Arthur left to the hall, he looked at the year one block which was very close to the hall. He saw his blood brother packing his things.

' Idiot better be quick before he gets his own trashing.' He thought walking past the year one block.

Few places away from the hall's entrance, a loud resonation shook the earth. Momentarily… Or for a period of time which Arthur couldn't comprehend, everything went black and silent.

When he regained he thoughts, he was lying on the sandy ground, his head bleeding profusely. His blood had coloured the stair red.

His limbs felt weak, and his thoughts and actions were delayed. In general he felt extremely alien, as if he wasn't in his own body.

Managing to rise, everything was a distorted. Students ran into and out of the hall. He struggled to get in, at that point he's senses were returning.

Students poured in and out like the currents of a river. Arthur stood at the doorpost trying to get in. However a multitude pushed against him, he held still, but a forceful slam sent him fly out the hall.

Pain echoed through his senses, he shook of the dizziness and looked to the side. His Immediate younger brother, Evans staggered towards him, blood streaming down his nose.

Arthur stretched forth his hand towards his brother. Doing that, a force slammed into the building besides Evans and covered the boy in a pile of concrete slabs.

Blood splattered in all directions, some touching Arthur on the face. His eyes widened in grave shock. All around him, multiple students exploded into paste of meat.

Gravitational pulses slammed in the earth collapsing huge buildings around the high school. Watching his die, he thought of his mother who thought at the middle school.

He thought of his younger brother and sister who were twins; attending the Junior high school. Where they dead, they were supposed to be on their way home by now, their sections had closed.

Moreover before he could think about any other person, the true chaos decended.
