Issei lunged toward Dino, moving as fast as a bolt of lightning.
"!" Sensing the imminent threat of death, Dino instinctively raised his sword to block the strike.
BOOM!
"Hoo?"
"Guy never mentioned I'd have to deal with this," Dino muttered, cold sweat trickling down his face.
"Don't worry, I'm not going to kill you," Issei said calmly.
"...If it were up to me, I'd rather not fight a monster like you at all."
Issei let out a light chuckle.
"I'm afraid I'll have to decline that request. I need data to measure the strength of those living on the other side."
"Well, nothing for it then. I guess I can't afford to hold back anymore."
Dino finally unleashed his true power, causing his Existence Value to skyrocket from four hundred thousand to over two million.
"Great! In that case, me too!"
Boost! Boost! Boost!
Issei's power surged to a level Dino couldn't even fathom.
They clashed fiercely, exchanging attacks that sent shockwaves through the surroundings, reducing the area to rubble. As expected, even in his true form, Dino was still utterly outclassed by Issei.
Attacks repeatedly rained down on Dino's face. Had it not been for his extraordinary durability, he would have been incapacitated long ago.
Slash!
CRASH!
Dino's swing was powerful enough to cleave a rocky hill in two, yet it failed to pierce Issei's defenses. The Red Dragon Emperor's armor suffered nothing more than a faint scratch. It wasn't that Dino was weak; it was simply that this version of Issei was far more powerful than his canon counterpart.
"My turn..."
Issei vanished instantly, reappearing directly behind Dino.
"Eh?" Cold sweat poured down Dino's face.
Without a second of hesitation or small talk, Issei delivered his most devastating punch straight to Dino's jaw.
BOOM!
Dino's teeth shattered as his body was sent flying hundreds of meters, smashing through countless rock formations.
Issei retracted his helmet, looking down at Dino with a casual gaze.
"I think that's enough for now," Issei murmured softly, deactivating his Balance Breaker.
"Partner, you did a good job holding back," Ddraig praised from within the gear.
"I worked hard on that restraint, so feel free to praise me more."
"Hahaha, well done indeed!"
Issei shrugged and walked toward the fallen Dino.
"Still alive?" Issei asked.
"Yeah... even though you've pretty much wrecked my entire body."
"Hahaha, as expected of someone at the Demon Lord level. You actually survived all my attacks."
"..." Dino felt no joy in the compliment, especially given his current state. However, he didn't dare voice a protest. The only thing he could do was grit his teeth in frustration.
"You can heal yourself, right?"
"Mm... but it'll take time. Don't bother me until I'm done."
Issei nodded, then shifted his attention to the battle between Rias and Loki.
True to his status as a god, Loki was successfully dodging the fatal bursts of Destruction energy Rias was hurling at him. The battlefield was a wasteland, torn apart by the impact of their clash. Whenever Loki spotted an opening in Rias's defense, Sona moved in instantly to cover her.
Thanks to Sona's support, Rias hadn't suffered a single scratch, despite Loki fighting with lethal intent. It was no wonder Loki looked absolutely livid, his expression twisting into a mask of rage.
In the distance, Issei hesitated, torn between stepping in to help or letting Rias handle it.
"Leave it be. If you truly love her, do not interfere in her fight until she actually needs the help." Ddraig's voice was calm and profoundly wise.
Issei laughed softly and nodded in agreement.
"You're right. Rias can do this."
BOOM!
Gahk!
An explosion of Destruction energy slammed into Loki, sending him tumbling dozens of meters before he crashed hard into the ground.
"Rias Gremory!"
Bang!
Rias landed gracefully right in front of him. Her body was clad in her crimson bikini armor—sexy, yet radiating immense power.
"You called, Lord Loki?" Rias's tone was composed and elegant.
Loki gritted his teeth, trembling with fury.
"You lowly devil... how dare you look down on me!"
"Ara~ ara~ aren't you embarrassed to say that after losing to me? You're quite funny, Lord Loki."
FLASH!
Divine power erupted from Loki's body. Rias shielded her eyes from the blinding radiance, her body protected by the crimson armor manifested from the Power of Destruction.
"Even if he's disgusting, Loki is still a major deity. Don't let your guard down until the very end," Issei's calm voice called out, catching Rias's attention.
"Are you finished over there?" Rias asked.
"Yeah. He was pretty strong, though still a bit below Loki."
"Wait just a moment. I'll finish this." Rias prepared to fire another blast of Destruction at Loki.
"Don't get cocky, you damn devil! I'll crush you right in front of your lover!"
BOOM!
Loki detonated his divine energy once more, forcing Issei and Rias to step back from the sheer pressure.
