Chapter 33 - Chapter 33

"Barbara's attacks are that powerful!?"

"They actually dealt with the Outworld Blazes in one go!"

"Damn it, couldn't Takagi have warned us sooner?"

"Otherwise, we wouldn't have had such a hard time."

Paimon snapped out of his daze at the fact that Barbara had single-handedly neutralized the extraterrestrial flame. He spoke angrily to the huge crater created by the explosion of the Outworld Blaze.

"It was my own fault for not thinking of how to use this power; it's not Mr. Takagi's fault. Moreover, I think the reason Mr. Takagi didn't tell us in the first place was... is this a test for us?" Barbara shook her head and said.

As the words fell, Barbara's body went limp and she collapsed forward. Jean quickly helped her up.

"Are you alright, Barbara?" Jean asked worriedly.

"It's nothing. I just accidentally used up too much energy, so I'm a little exhausted. I'll be fine after a short rest. Don't worry, sister," Barbara shook her head.

"Thanks to Barbara, all the troublesome enemies are gone. Now you should rest well; leave the rest to us." Lumine stood in front of Barbara and Jean, confidently pointing her sword at the remaining three Incineration Shadows.

Jean, Klee, and even Hook all raised their weapons. The troublesome monster had been dealt with. The remaining three Incineration Shadows were no longer a threat to Lumine and the others. Even without Barbara's abundant power, the group believed they could solve the problem themselves.

Just as the group was about to finish off the remaining enemies in one fell swoop, suddenly, three shells fell from the sky with the sound of cannon fire. They struck the three fiery shadows respectively. The immense force instantly shattered them into pieces.

Jean: "Huh? Where did these shells come from?"

Lumine: "Wow, that's amazing! You managed to smash all those guys to pieces in one go."

Barbara: "Are they the ones who will help us?"

"Could it be that Brother Takagi made a move?" Klee blinked and looked at Hook beside her: "Hook, you don't look well. Is your stomach upset?" Klee asked, somewhat puzzled.

"That's the old witch's weapon. The old witch is coming," Hook said in a panic.

"Old witch?" Klee tilted her head in confusion.

"Hook, do you recognize the previous shelling?" Paimon asked curiously.

"Yes, I won't mistake it. That's the old witch's grenade launcher. She must be here to arrest me. No, I have to get out of here quickly," Hook said anxiously.

"Don't worry, Hook, everyone will protect you. I'll help, too. No matter how terrible that old witch is, you will be fine," Paimon patted his chest and said confidently.

"No, you have no idea how terrible the old witch is," Hook shook her head and said.

"Old witch... are you talking about me?" A familiar voice sounded behind Hook, instantly making him tense up.

Klee, Jean, Lumine, and the others turned around and saw Takagi and Natasha walking towards them. However, after seeing the two holding hands... Jean, Lumine, Barbara, and the others all gave each other strange looks.

"This is the old witch? Not old at all... wait!" As Paimon was speaking, Natasha's gaze fell upon her. For some reason, Paimon swallowed the rest of the word "witch".

"Wow, what a terrifying look," Paimon murmured softly.

"Who told you to keep your mouth shut?" Lumine put her hands on her hips and said.

Upon hearing this, Paimon wanted to refute, but ultimately couldn't bring himself to say what was on his mind.

"No... no, I was talking about Sister Natasha." Hook mechanically turned her little head and looked at Natasha who was approaching with a frightened expression.

"Fine, let's just say I misheard this time," Natasha shook her head and said.

Upon hearing this, Hook raised his head in surprise. If it were before, she would have called Natasha an old witch and Natasha would have heard it. Natasha was bound to give him a good scolding. This time, Natasha let her go so easily. This was something Hook hadn't expected at all. What Hook didn't know was that Natasha was currently in a state of extreme happiness because of the good news brought by Takagi. Hook was naturally treated much more leniently.

"However, we can set aside the matter of names. But the fact that you were involved in dangerous combat cannot be ignored. Hook, we should have agreed that you can't use the Digertron for dangerous things, right?" Natasha said seriously.

"Yes, I'm sorry; Hook knows he was wrong." Hook lowered his head and said in a low voice.

"Go back to the clinic and reflect on your actions. If there's a next time, I might have to consider taking back the Digertron from you," Natasha said. Upon hearing this, Hook lowered his head even further.

[Alice: What a serious lady. It seems this woman named Natasha is Hook's guardian.]

[Kaeya: For some reason, I see the shadows of Jean and Klee in Natasha and Hook.]

Lisa: "It seems that behind every cute little girl, there is a serious older sister. However, I'm more curious about the relationship between Takagi and this Miss Natasha."

[Dehya: Natasha has been holding Takagi's hand tightly the whole time. Could they be a couple?]

[Yae Miko: If the two are really a couple, perhaps befriending Natasha would make it more likely that he would receive Takagi's help. Perhaps, there will be a greater chance of getting the opportunity to board the Astral Express later.]

[Lisa: If they're really a couple, that would be such a shame. I'm actually quite interested in Takagi.]

[Alice: Perhaps they're just acquaintances. Miss Lisa should still have a chance. For Mondstadt's sake, let's go take down Takagi, hehe.]

Lisa: "Thank you for your encouragement, Miss Alice. I will try my best. But compared to my situation, I should first pray that Jean and Barbara can get along well with Natasha."
