At first it was just another crazy conspiracy connecting dots that weren't there. Ten people missing from every city on earth on the same day each month at the exact same time. I scoffed when it became big enough for a chronically online loser like me to hear about it. After all, people go missing every day at every hour. I was sure it was just made up people, and on the rare occasion the person seemed real enough, just an overly anxious family.
But coincidences and fake people can only be explanations for as long as there's no concrete evidence. I couldn't deny the conspiracy when the conspiracy wackos started tracking down family of the missing people. When the conspiracy wackos managed to figure out the exact minute people were disappearing. The second Thursday of every month at 1:17 pm on the dot.
Life goes on though. I was just a simple man stuck in a dead end job wasting my life away with drugs and raves. Why would I worry about ten people disappearing in my city every month.
