Preet came outside, going towards him..and said "kya hai konsi shamat aai thi jo aana pada yaha wo bhi ese chadke" she glared him

(What is it? What stroke of calamity brought you here, especially having to climb like this?)

"I'm sorry for today"he said but actually he didn't know the exact for coming here

"Sorry to mainu kehna chahiye ji" she's confused by his reply

(I have to say sorry)

"Haan baat toh tumne bilkul sahi kahi hai" he smirked and continuously watching her face

She's giving her "like seriously" look but she didn't want to argue so she's just going to say it before this Arnav give her chocolate

She's confused that why he's giving her chocolate "mere pass extra thi to mai aahi raha tha yaha to tere liye rakhli khale" he said and gave it to her

For the first time someone gave her chocolate even such a big chocolate

She's hesitated for a minute but he requested her to take this so she take the chocolate, she was looking at the chocolate and trying to control her tears in which she's expert and then she faced him again

Before she said something, he asked her to go with her " Icecream khane chalein"

"Chalo, lekin jaldi aajaege kyuki sanvi aane hi wali hogi" she said

(Let's go, but we will be come soon because Sanvi must be arriving soon)

"Toh isme darne ki kya baat hai ab hum dost hi toh hai or do dost sath icecream toh kha hi sakte h isme kya darna" he said casually

(So, what is there to be afraid of in this? We are friends, and two friends can definitely eat ice cream together. What is there to be scared of in that?)

"Haan yeh bhi hai" she said but she's confused because she wanted to hide this fact, though she didn't know why.

(Yeah that's true too)

"Which flavour you want to it" he asked

"Kon kon se flavour hote hai" she asked innocently

(What are the different flavors)

"You don't know" he's shocked

"No, actually I only know the one but I don't know the name,the one thing I know that it's color is White" she tell him

"Okey mein tume do flavour khilata hu fir batana konsa acha hai" he said

(I will give you two flavors to try, then tell me which one is better)

He bought two flavours for her and one for himself, he gave her "now eat and then tell me which one is more delicious"

He said

First she eat one bite of both icecreams, she didn't know about the flavours name but she extend her right hand and tell him that I like this one more than this one then she extended her left hand

"Oh so you like chocolate flavour more than pista" he said and she was looking at the icecream and then at him and nodded in yes

" Tumara icecream flavour konsa hai" she asked

(Which is yours increase flavour)

"Coffee ice-cream" he said simply

" Par use toh peete hai na" she said in confusion

(But we drink that right?)

Soft chuckle came from his mouth, he said" yes but also we eat it"

"Ohhhh, okey" she said, rolled her eyes amd then she shifted her focus in icecream

He waited for her, he saw the cotton candy he asked her that she tried cotton candy or not until she replied he understood that she didn't eat this, he said "leave that topic, eat your icecream, I will be back in five minutes"

He went running after the cotton candy seller, shouted loudly but seller didn't listened because he's busy in his music world, Arnav ran more fast, he reached at him, seller said that " kya hua bhaiya itna tej kyu bhagke aaye ho, itna jaruri tha kya yeh"

(What happened bhaiya, why did you come running so fast, Is it that much important?)

"Han bhaiya bohot jaruri tha lena, Bhaiya gaane ke sath bahar bhi dhyan dijiyega taaki kisi or ko na bhagna pade" he said, bought the three color cotton candy(pink, blue, cream color)

(Yes brother, it was very important to take it. Brother, please pay attention outside along with the song, so that no one else has to run away)

When he returned at the icecream parlour but she's gone, he searched her then he asked shopkeeper that where's the girl who sit here a little while ago

Shopkeeper said that " maybe she went on this direction but she was very scared"

He's panicked after listening shopkeeper he searched her for an hour he didn't understand what had to do, he called shreyash and tell him everything until he came, Arnav searched him, he saw temple there he's so scared, he didn't believe in god but he went for her, wishing for her

He went inside the temple, he cried and requested that " God please help me too find her I promise I never leave her alone she's so innocent please take care of her until I found her" he said

He turned to leave but he saw that some boys flirted badly with girl making her uncomfortable Before he could go to the girl, the boys went to the girl, but he rushed towards the boys he didn't saw the girl he direct punched at one boy's face then others boys also came towards him

But before they hurt him, some boys came which were present at temple, these man throw them form temple

"Dhanyawad bhaisaa" he thanked them

He turned towards the girl but she's not someone, she's preet after seeing her he's relaxed but she crying continuously..

"Preeta ji chup hojaiye hum hai na, ab nahi jayege aapko chorke kabhi wada Rona band kijiye please". He said and held her hands

(Please stop crying I'm there, now I am not going anywhere to leave you alone promise please stop crying)

For the first time he's concerned about someone too much(genuinely) specially for girl

He Didn't understand that what he do before he think she hugged him so tightly, his breathe stucked, he didn't break the hug he waited for her patiently but still she didn't stop crying, he parted her back slowly she calmed down, he gave her water, he wiped tears from her face

" What happened to you, why did you run away from there?, I'm so tensed" he said in soft voice

She watched him continuously but didn't replying him, he sat with her for few minutes then he took her to taking the blessing, she bowed her head in front of God and closed her eyes then she saw him his eyes are also closed after seeing him only one whish came from her lips that God please don't take him with me

And then before she turned back shreyash and sanvi came, just as shreyash saw his sister he ran towards her hugged her so tightly "kaha chali gai thi ese bina bataye" he said

(Where did you disappear to without saying anything?)

"I'm sorry for disturbing you all" she feel guilty for bothering others

"You are not disturbing us, okey we all are always there for you, now let's go" he said

"Aaj ke baad esa kuch kiya na toh thand mein barf wala paani tere upr daal dugi, samjhi" sanvi gave her warning

(If you do anything like this ever again, I will pour ice-cold water over you in this cold weather, understood?)

"Bohot hi ghatiya warning hai, apna level increase kijiye bhabhi saa" Arnav said

(Such a bad warning, increase your level

Sister in law)

Shreyash and sanvi glared him "achi level hai unki samjha na tu" shreyash said

(Her level is good, understood)

But sanvi still glared at him "iska toh samajh aagya pr aap kyu ghoor raha tha aap kyu ghoor rahi hein" Arnav asking

(I understand his side but why are you glaring me?)

"Akhri baar bol rahi hu bhabhi bolna band krde" she warned him

(I'm telling you last time stop calling me sister in law)

"Par hamare yaha bhabhiyo ko naam se nahi bulate hai " he teased her

(But We don't address our bhabhis by name in our family)

"Or hamare yaha ese devaro ko jutto se maarte hai, batao maaru" she said without thinking what she's saying

(And we hit our brother in law by shoes, tell me should I hit you?)

"Ab toh khushi khushi mariye isse kamse kam ladai mein hi sahi aapne mana toh yeh aapka devar hai " shreyash said teasing her

(Now hit her happily atleast you accept him as brother in law )

"Go to hell both of you, let's go preet leave them alone" she said and held her hand then went away, arnav and Shreyash both followed them

When they all were in way to go home, the same shopkeeper called them when he saw preet and Arnav, they all went in shop," didi ab kahi mat jaiyega ese apko pata yeh sb kitne pareshan the aapke liye " shopkeeper said

(Sister don't go anywhere now you know what how much they all tensed for you)

"Ji bhaiya abse kahi nahi jaugi" she said

(Okey brother I'm not going anywhere again')

"Bhaiya yeh lijiye aap yeh yahi chor ke chale gaye the" shopkeeper gave him his things

(Brother take this you leave that here)

"Thank you bhaiya" he said and all of them leaving

"Yeh lo preet, mein yahi lene gaya tha bhabhi ek aap lelijiye" he said amd giving them cotton candy

(Take this preet, I'm going to buy this, sister in law take one)

"Thank you" both said together

Arnav and shreyash dropped them in hostel and then they were going their own home

"Kya baat hai jab ek baar mein kho gya tha jab hum picnic pe gaye the tab toh tu nahi roya tha, aaj bada rona aarha tha teko" he teased Arnav

(How come you didn't cry when I got lost during our picnic back then, but you're crying so much today?)

"I don't know why i'm so scared by the thought that what if i lost her?" Arnav explained him

"And yeah don't be mean at the time of picnic I'm also worried for you " Arnav said, rolled his eye's

"Hmm maybe you have a feelings for her" shreyash said

"No, but maybe I feeled this way because I'm always thinking that there is something about her which she lied maybe related to her parents" Arnav said

"If this is related to her family then this is her personal matter we don't have to ask her, or maybe we have to wait until she's comfortable to share about her " Shreyash said

"Yeah, okey by kal milte hai " Arnav said and both finally leave for their homes

Preet is so tired that's why she directly went to sleep, when she's sleeping someone called her but she didn't wake up so when phone again ringing sanvi attend her call

"Hello, who are you ?" Sanvi said

"Aapne hume apna number diya tha ki koi kam hoto batana toh hamare paas kaam hai aap kl aajaiyega apne school ke baad " the person whose on the other side on call saying

(You gave your number to me for telling you some work, there is work available so Tommorow after you school you should come)

"Ji dhanyawad" she said and cut the call

She thought that why preet is searching work, sanvi didn't want to interrupt in her personal life but she still she checked her something, she didn't found any social media app she saw whatsapp in it she found only school group no other chat

Then she checked the contacts, only three numbers saved in her contacts, sanvi's Arnav's and third one saved as uncle ji, but she's shocked that preet didn't saved her family members number

But she didn't asked her because sanvi wanted that preet tell them by herself when preet waked up sanvi tell her about call, they both doing their work

Sanvi is going to sleep early but preet still awake but after sometime she again going to sleep

After one week

"Preet jaldi kar late hojayege" sanvi said

(Hurry up we will be late)

"Han behen kar toh Rahi hu tujhe kya padi hai itni jldi apne sasural jaane ki" preet said and teased her

(Yes Chill, I'm doing it. Why are you so dying to get to your in-laws?)

"It's my sasural, okey " she said in irritation

For the first time sanvi wears punjabi suit, it possesses her ethereal beauty, preet always wears suit is to rare that she wears jeans top.. but still she looks glorious

"Chal hogya"preet said and they both went

(It's done let's go)

In front of hostel, Arnav and shreyash waiting for them to take them shreyash's house

When both girls came, as soon as shreyash saw her he's lost in her beauty, he's watching her without blinking his mouth is open, for him only sanvi exist at that moment

"Kya hai bhai aankho se he kha jayega kya" Arnav take him back from his gaze over sanvi

(What brother, Are you going to devour her with your eyes?)

"Shutup let's go " he said sanvi sit in his but still she didn't touch him, she maintain the distance in bike

Arnav said" kya baat hai preeta ji wese bhi aap suit mein kamaal lagti hai par Aaj toh or bhi kamaal ki lag rahi hein"

(You always look amazing in a suit, but today you look even more stunning)

"Hogya chalein"she said then she sit on his bike

(You are done now let's go)

"Chaliye ji" Arnav said and they both also leave for Shreyash's house

All of them reached house, they entered in the house she's watching the house but for her(sanvi) it's little weird because she knew that here in this place she lived her childhood but she didn't know much about her childhood because her parents didn't tell her and shreyash Tell her about only their love story

And for preet it's all new because for the first time she saw that much big house

Then his mother came, wears a very beautiful poshak all dressed up well, and his mother's smile is that much beautiful if anyone sees her smile so they ended up by smiling, she's stunning and radiant..

"Khamma Ghani beta,aao betho na waha kyu khade ho" his mother greeted them politely

(Your welcome, come sit why are you stood there?)

"Ji aunty, khamma ghani" sanvi replied her

"Ji aunty namaste" preet replied her but not her way because she didn't know how to pronounce the word

Then they all sit at couch, and talking to his mother " aur beta mummy papa or baaki sab kese hai" she asked

(How are your parents and others?)

"Sab ache hein aunty" she replied

(Everyone is good)

"Urmila, pranika or anand kaise hein" his mother asked

(How's urmila pranika and anand?)

"Woh bhi ache hai" she replied

(They are also Good)

They all taking but his mother continuously admired her and then

" itni choti si thi tab dekha tha tab bhi badi pyaari thi or ab toh aur bhi jyada pyaari lagne lagi hai" his mother compliment sanvi

( She was such a little thing when I saw her back then, and so sweet. Now, she's even more beautiful than before.)

Before she replied,shreyash's aunt came to call them for food!!

" Bachho chalo khana kha lo.." his aunt informed them

(Come and have your lunch)

"Nahi aunty hum khana nahi khayege" sanvi replied her

(No aunt, we won't eat food)

"Beta pucha nahi hai btaya hai" his aunt replied back instantly

Sanvi opened her mouth for reply but nothing came from her mouth she turned her eyes towards him, he had already watching her,he signed her to come for food and then they all went towards the dinning table

Preet and sanvi sat together, shreyash and Arnav sat infront of them, Shreyash's mother sat on the right side of him and his aunt sat beside his mother

Before his mother stood for serving the food, sanvi take the bowl start serving the food, by seeing her preet also do the same thing

"Beta hum karlenge aap kyu kar rahi hein" his mother said them

(We will do it,why are you doing it?)

"Aunty aap bethiye na hum karlege" sanvi pleased her to sit

(Aunt please sit we will do it)

They both served the food to all of them

And then served for themselves!!

"Beta waise tum kahan se ho" his mother pointed at preet

(Where are you from)

"Mein Gujarat se hoon aunty" she replied softly

(I'm from Gujarat)

"Oyeeeeeee shit matlab aap toh non veg

Khati hongi"his aunt replied instantly but before she's gone say more his mother glared at her

(It means you eat non veg)

"Sorry beta mai toh bas normally puch rahi thi" his aunt apologised her

(I'm just asking normally)

"No no it's okey aunty, I do not eat non veg" she replied

"Yeh toh badi achi baat hai" his aunt replied happily

(That's great)

"Tumare mummy papa ka kya naam hai or kya kaam karte hein woh" his mother asked preet

(What's your parents name and what they are doing work?)

Preets mind went completely blank, she didn't understand what she say but her luck us with her today, Arnav noticed that she's feeling weird to tell about her parents which she feel always at the same time he noticed that waiter was coming from the kitchen with taking sweet dish(kheer)

Arnav jumped Between the talk and saying excitedly "waaah aunty aap toh awesome hai kheer bhi banai hai aapne, or ghevar nahi banaein?"

(You are awesome you made kheer and

Wont you make ghevar?)

"Maine socha kya pta inn logo ko pasand ho na ho isliye nahi banai " his mother replied

( I didn't make it because I wasn't sure if they would like it or not.)

"Ohh it's okey please it next time" he requested her

"Okeyy sure" his mother replied smilingly

Waiter served the kheer all of them but she didn't served the kheer to shreyash she put the bowl at table then she's gone

Preet and sanvi both noticed that Shreyash didn't take the kheer "bhaiya why aren't you eating the kheer?"

Before he replied, his mother said" aaplogo ko nahi pta ?"

(You don't know?)

They both(sanvi and preet) looked at eachother then at shreyash, preet looking at his mother and asking"kyun nahi khate yeh kheer"

(Why he didn't eat kheer?)

"Kheer kya isne toh 11 saal se kuch bhi meetha nahi khaya hai" his mother and she looked at sanvi

"What but why" preet is shocked but sanvi yeah she's shocked too but when she hear 11 years she know that it's because of her, but only one line came on her mind that like seriously from 11 years he didn't eat anything sweet...

She wants to slap him so hard but she can't do this, she's glared at him without blinking continuously, Shreyash feels like now he's gone, she's gone kill him for doing this but at that moment she controls her emotions

"Tumhe nahi pata jab inke dil ki dhadkan urf sanvi ji yaha se gayi thi toh isne bohot din tak achese khana nahi khaya tha fir maine socha shayad yeh kheer khale kyuki sanvi ko or isko kheer bohot pasand thi par usne kheer phek hi di tabse leke aaj tak isne kheer nahi khai" she tell them in detail

(You don't know-when Sanvi (the literal heartbeat of his life) left, he didn't eat properly for many days. I thought maybe he would eat some kheer because they both loved it so much, but he just threw it away. Since that day until now, he hasn't touched kheer)

" Aur fir jab mujhe pata chala ki yeh wapas aagayi hai to maine kheer banai or yeh dabbe mein band karle gaya par mujhe nahi lagta ki isne khai hogi wo kheer" his mother glared him

(And then, when I found out she was back, I made some kheer and took it to her in a container. But honestly, I don't think she actually ate it)

Sanvi continuously admired him, she controlled her tears from falling, she didn't understand that how can someone loves like this

"Haan aunty isne uss din kheer mujhe dedi thi maine khai thi wo kheer" sanvi replied his mother

(Yes aunty he give me kheer at that day, I'm eating that kheer)

"Mujhe toh lagta hai ab tum dono ki shadi hogi tabhi yeh kheer khayega" his mother teased them

(I'm thinking that now he eats kheer only when you two are married)

But they both didn't replied and before aunty saying anything more, his aunt accidentally spilled water on the table and because of this everybody has left from there

"Acha aunty ab hum chalte hai" preet said

(Now we are going)

"Are betho na beta itni jaldi kyu Jaa rahe ho" his aunt trying to stop them

(Why are you leaving so soon, please sit for sometime)

" Jaruri hai warna gate band hojayega hostel ka" she replied

(It's important otherwise gates were closed of hostel)

"Acha theek hai, pr jaldi aana dubara Milne" his mother said

(Okey fine but come soon to meet again)

"Yeah sure aunty" they both replied together

His mother first giving hug to sanvi and kissed her forehead then she hugged preet and she kissed her forehead too, then they both giving hug to his aunt and left from there but from the front door his father coming, her mother is tensed because of sanvi but Shreyash he didn't care about anything

"Namaste uncle , khamma ghani uncle ji, khamma ghani uncle ji" preet, sanvi and Arnav greeted him and touched his feet

"Bade dino baad aaya hai re tu " his father replied to Arnav

(You are coming after so many days)

"Han ab yeh hi Ghar mein itna Kam rehta hai to mein kya Karu aake" he replied

(Yes when he's live in his house too little then what I'm doing coming here"

"Hann je bhi hai"his father replied and then he greet them (preet and sanvi too)" khammi Ghani beta"

(Yeah it is )

"Tum dono ke kya naam hai" his father asking questions to both of them

(What's your name?)

But before they reply, shreyash said " kyun aapko kya karna hai jaanke" and leave him behind , he take them both with him Arnav also followed them

(Why what you do by knowing the names)
