Days passed, and still no news about Loki came from Asgard.

It was rumored that Loki had successfully escaped Asgard.

Due to the many natural cosmic convergence points that formed throughout Asgard when the Bifrost Bridge was first built, allowing for teleportation to other realms, it was highly likely that Loki had left Asgard through one of these points.

It was unknown what methods Loki used, but after leaving Asgard, he managed to block Heimdall's senses; even Heimdall, with his all-seeing eye, did not know Loki's current whereabouts.

Thor was devastated upon hearing this news, remaining gloomy all day, his appetite significantly diminished, only able to eat half a roasted lamb, and no one could console him.

After all, Loki held an extremely high position in his heart, even mjolnir could only rank behind him, and Jane was even more out of the question.

Unless it was Jane wielding Mjolnir, there might be a slim chance of contending with him.

And Darian, having neither the coldness of Mjolnir nor the warmth of Jane's chest muscles, was helpless in this regard.

So Darian activated the teleportation and returned to S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters on Earth.

He walked out of the headquarters' main gate, then picked a lucky car, skillfully opened the door, hot-wired it, and drove off, speeding away.

The entire process took less than a few minutes!

However, to be fair, this teleportation drop point was really inconvenient.

Every time Darian returned to Earth from Asgard, the drop point was fixed at S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters; it was fine when he had a mission, but if he wanted to go somewhere else without a mission, he would have to spend a lot of extra time traveling.

"It seems I really need to activate other teleportation points soon; if this continues, S.H.I.E.L.D.'s cars won't be enough."

Thinking this, Darian immediately drove towards Stark Tower.

This was not Darian's first time here; the last time he was here was the last time.

As soon as Darian entered the building, he expertly turned into the restroom, took out the Stane mask, and put it on his head.

Stane made another appearance!

On a side note, Darian usually wore the GANTZ Enhanced Suit, but he would still put on other clothes and pants over it.

Although he had his own sense of aesthetics, running around the streets in just a tight suit, like Matt Lawyer, with his crotch constricted, was definitely out of the question.

After changing into a sharp suit, Darian walked out of the restroom and leisurely strolled through Stark Tower.

He still had the access card Tony had given him earlier, allowing him almost unrestricted movement throughout the entire building.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Stane!"

Several old employees of Stark Industries recognized the face of Stane and instinctively greeted him.

"Hmm, keep up the good work, continue to shine for the company, and I'll be watching you."

Darian nodded calmly and continued to explore the Stark Tower map.

But soon, those old employees gradually realized something was wrong; hadn't Stane already passed away?

In an instant, a wave of panic quickly spread throughout Stark Tower.

Darian was strolling through the building when his phone suddenly rang; it was Tony calling.

"Hello?"

"Are you in Stark Tower?"

"How did you know?"

"It's all because of your disguise; now it's spread throughout Stark Industries that Stane's ghost has resurrected and is secretly urging employees to work themselves to death, even saying that a capitalist is still a capitalist even after death."

Tony's tone was full of resentment.

He was just having an enthusiastic chat with Pepper, preparing to further discuss the Water channel excavation project, when Jarvis suddenly sent this urgent message, and the excavation equipment immediately stalled.

Upon seeing the surveillance footage sent by Jarvis, Tony instantly guessed that Darian was behind it.

After all, the last time Darian infiltrated Stark Tower this way, he helped him steal the hidden documents of Stane.

"What are you up to again?" Tony asked, gritting his teeth.

"Nothing, just casually strolling around."

Darian answered honestly.

But Tony didn't believe him at all; he even suspected that the Bald Egg Director was secretly instigating it again.

The first time he met Fury, he felt that the other person didn't seem like a good person; how could a good person always wear all black and have a pirate-like eye patch on his face?

It must be said that everyone's first impression of Fury was surprisingly consistent.

"Quickly take off your disguise; I'll have Pepper send someone to give you a tour of Stark Tower." Tony said grumpily; he didn't want any more bizarre rumors spreading within the company.

He heard that some time ago, Osborn Group also had rumors of Stane's ghost resurrecting, which must have been related to this guy.

"Alright."

Not long after removing his disguise, Darian met the guide Pepper had sent.

"Oh? Gwen?"

Darian looked surprised.

The guide Pepper sent was none other than his assistant from Osborn Group, Gwen Stacy.

"Doom, how could it be you!?"

Gwen was equally surprised, not expecting to meet Darian here again.

Darian asked in surprise, "Weren't you always an intern at Osborn Group? How did you end up at Stark Industries?"

Gwen's expression was a bit complex as she explained, "When you suddenly disappeared from Osborn Group, Mr. Osborn immediately came to me, pressing me for your whereabouts, but I truly knew nothing, and he fired me in a fit of anger."

"Later, I heard that Stark Industries was advancing a new energy clean project, so I submitted my resume and came here as an intern."

"Ah, this."

Darian felt a bit awkward, realizing that he was the reason behind this.

He waved his hand, "Don't worry, I'm very familiar with your boss, Tony Stark; I'll get you a promotion and a raise later. Also, from now on, you can call me Darian; Doom is just my codename."

"Uh, okay."

Gwen didn't fully understand but still nodded.

Subsequently, she led Darian on a tour of Stark Industries.

Unlike Osborn Group, which was a supervillain training center, Darian didn't discover many noteworthy special NPCs after a tour.

During the tour, Darian casually chatted with Gwen and learned from her that she was also a student at Midtown High School.

"What a coincidence!"

Darian's eyes lit up, and he said happily, "I'm going to visit Midtown High School later; why don't you continue to be my guide!"

Gwen: "?"

I'm here as an intern, not a tour guide!

However, after a phone call from Darian, Gwen immediately received ten times her daily salary and an internship opportunity to join an important scientific research project at Stark Industries.

And her job only required her to be Darian's guide.

Wicked capitalist!

Gwen grumbled inwardly and decisively agreed!

Money or no money, it didn't matter.

The main thing was that she really valued that internship opportunity for the scientific research project.
