"Squeak!"
Sharp, strange shrieks exploded from several directions at once. One by one, Molodis lunged out, charging straight at Darian and Wade, who were standing in the open space of the ruins!
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
Gunfire roared. Darian held a golden desert eagle in each hand, the muzzles flashing with fire. Energy bullets precisely pierced the skulls of the Molodis, splashing yellowish, foul-smelling bodily fluids everywhere.
However, these monsters seemed to know no fear, rushing forward one after another. As soon as the ones in front fell, they were trampled by their kin surging from behind.
"Little ones, hurry and throw yourselves into Daddy Wade's arms!"
Wade met them with a weird laugh, the cold light of his dual blades flashing. The few Molodis that rushed close didn't even have time to swipe their claws before they were dismembered amidst shrill shrieks, scattered limbs and flesh spraying outwards along the arc of the blades.
The two's killing efficiency was extremely high.
In a short time, many twisted monster corpses were scattered among the rubble and debris around them.
"Squeak—"
However, more shrill cries rang out from the depths of the ruins.
Countless Molodis emerged from all directions. They climbed over broken walls and leaped over abandoned vehicles, surging toward the central position where the two stood like a gray-yellow tide!
"Human wave tactics?"
Darian grinned. The thing he feared least was human wave tactics.
The next moment, the golden desert eagle in his hand switched into a gatling gun. The six barrels began to rotate slowly, their speed soaring in an instant, turning into a blurred phantom.
Rat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat—!
The deafening roar instantly tore through the air, overpowering all other sounds!
Blazing tongues of fire sprayed wildly from the muzzle. A metal storm suddenly took shape, countless bullets merging into a massive barrage, pouring toward that dense, gray-yellow tide!
Facing the terrifying firepower of the gatling gun, this group of Molodis was as fragile as paper. The Molodis in the front row had their bodies shredded almost the instant they touched the barrage, exploding into clouds of blood mist!
"Awesome!"
Darian was having a blast, feeling a sense of satisfaction akin to mowing down enemies in a game.
"Holy crab! Where did you pull this big, thick thing out from?"
Wade was shocked, then chuckled and leaned in, fawning: "Good brother! Lend me your big, thick thing to play with. Let's have some fun together!"
Listening to Wade's wild, suggestive words, Darian looked disgusted and tossed the gatling gun to him, lest this guy pester him about it.
"Hahaha! Little ones, line up and taste Daddy Wade's big, thick firearm!"
Wade laughed exaggeratedly while controlling the gatling gun to pour out firepower.
However, his aim was truly terrible. The muzzle shook wildly up, down, left, and right with the powerful recoil. At least half of the bullets sprayed out missed, with his shooting style being purely "fate-based."
Darian pulled another gatling gun from his game inventory, the barrels spinning rapidly, and began a new round of mowing down.
The roar of the two gatling guns echoed wildly through the ruined streets. Golden shell casings piled up continuously at their feet, almost covering the surrounding ground.
However, under such violent sweeping firepower, the number of Molodis did not seem to decrease at all. It was as if they were endless; one batch fell, and more immediately swarmed out from the shadows. They simply couldn't be killed off.
Just as the bullets in Wade's gatling gun were about to run out, a cylindrical light tube emitting a blinding white light suddenly fell from high above, spinning as it landed in the open space in front of them.
"Squeak—!!"
Within the coverage of this white light, the Molodis, which had been fearless just moments ago, now seemed scorched by invisible flames, emitting fearful, sharp shrieks.
Their charging momentum froze abruptly, and they then scrambled desperately to push backward, attempting to escape the area shrouded in light. In the blink of an eye, a vacuum zone was cleared in front of the two.
Darian and Wade stopped shooting simultaneously and looked toward the source of the light in surprise.
High up, on a broken beam at the edge of a half-collapsed building, stood a thin, tall figure.
He wore an old long shirt and vest, holding a bow and an arrow with purple fletching. His gray-white long hair and beard fluttered in the wind. Notably, his eyes were completely milky white; those who didn't know might think he was from the Hyuga clan.

Hawkeye?
Darian turned to look at Wade: "Didn't you say you could only travel to the set of the Fox Universe? How did an elderly version of Hawkeye pop up here?"
Wade scratched his butt: "Hell, did Marvel successfully acquire Fox while I wasn't looking, so the copyrights on both sides started to merge?"
Listening to their conversation as if no one else was around, Old Hawkeye frowned: "You two! By making such a huge commotion here, are you trying to attract all the Molodis in the entire city?"
"Hey! You can't blame us for this!"
Wade tilted his head back and shouted boisterously: "It was these overly enthusiastic little guys who started it! This is called self-defense, and at most, it's just a tiny bit of excessive defense!"
Old Hawkeye sniffed the heavy smell of gunpowder and stench in the air, the corners of his mouth twitching: "You call this a little bit? Don't you know these things are extremely afraid of light, and that you only need enough light to drive them away?"
"Should've said so earlier."
Upon hearing this, Darian immediately raised his hand.
In an instant, a blazing white light exploded from his palm, sweeping across the entire street and illuminating every corner of the ruins as if they were exposed to the scorching noon sun.
"Ahhh! My titanium alloy dog eyes!!"
Wade covered his eye patch and screamed, rolling on the ground.
The Molodis' reactions were even more intense. Their skin sizzled under the strong light, emitting puffs of white smoke. A chorus of shrill howls rang out as they all scrambled and fled into the depths of the shadows.
In less than ten seconds, the surrounding area was empty.
Wade stretched his arms out, fumbling blindly in the air, his voice filled with sorrow: "Buddy, I can't see anything! Am I blind? No! I still have several terabytes of new movies on my computer I haven't finished watching! My spiritual sustenance... Wait, what is this big, thick, hard thing?"
Bang!
Gunfire rang out, and Wade, holding the golden desert eagle, fell to the ground.
Darian coldly put away the muzzle in front of his crotch.
Where was this idiot trying to touch?
Old Hawkeye: (—°A°)—D
Old Hawkeye was shocked. Although he had awakened glaucoma and could no longer see anything, his sensory abilities were exceptionally sharp, and he instantly determined what had happened below.
That person actually killed his own companion!
Betrayal? Dog-eat-dog?
Various speculations flashed through his mind, and Old Hawkeye's heart sank.
He suddenly realized that the people he had just helped were likely not good people.
Without a word, Old Hawkeye decisively turned and left.
Darian saw this and immediately chased after him: "Hawkeye, wait, I have something..."
Before he could finish, Old Hawkeye turned abruptly, drawing his bow and notching an arrow, his movements as fast as lightning!
Whoosh!
The arrow tore through the air, flying straight at Darian's face.
Darian reacted extremely fast, dodging the attack by turning sideways. The arrow pinned into the rock wall behind him, its fletching trembling violently.
But that wasn't all.
Old Hawkeye didn't stop at all. Listening to the wind to identify the position, his fingers had already pinched three arrows from his quiver. Without any aiming motion, the bowstring vibrated repeatedly!
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
The three arrows, arranged in a triangle formation, shot toward Darian at almost the same moment!
Darian couldn't be bothered to dodge. A flash of white light shone over his body, an energy shield enveloping him, blocking the arrows outside his body without taking any damage.
At the same time, he activated the Silent Step skill. Footsteps, the sound of clothing friction, and even his breathing seemed to have been absorbed. He transformed into a mysterious Silent Step man, walking straight toward Old Hawkeye silently yet swaggeringly.
After shooting the three arrows, Old Hawkeye immediately held his breath and concentrated, listening intently, but he didn't hear any movement.
"Did I take care of him?"
Just as he was about to heave a sigh of relief, he suddenly felt his hand lighten—his bow had actually been snatched away by someone!
Old Hawkeye: (—°A°)—
Darian shook his head: "If you're blind, don't play with bows. What if you accidentally hurt someone else? I'll keep this bow for you for now."
Old Hawkeye suddenly heard Darian's voice and was greatly shocked, instinctively clenching his fist and smashing it over!
"Ah!!"
A scream rang out instantly, but the one who made the sound wasn't Darian, but Old Hawkeye.
Damn it! Why is this guy wearing a mask on his face!
Old Hawkeye cursed inwardly, shaking his numbed hand.
Just as he was about to continue his offensive, a cold muzzle suddenly pressed against his forehead.
"Calm down, Hawkeye, I have no malice toward you." Darian soothed.
Old Hawkeye: "..."
"...I can feel that, but can you put down the muzzle?"
"No."
Old Hawkeye: .....
Darian asked: "Why did you attack me?"
"Does that even need to be asked?"
Old Hawkeye sneered: "You know my codename—who else could it be but those damn supervillains?"
"Couldn't it be a superhero?"
"Heh, you're really joking. Where are there any superheroes left in this World?"
Darian raised an eyebrow: "Why?"
"You're actually asking me why."
Old Hawkeye seemed to hear something ridiculous, his tone mocking: "Isn't it because you supervillains joined forces and worked together to kill most of the superheroes?"
Darian was shocked.
The superheroes of this World were actually wiped out by the supervillains joining forces?
He didn't expect that he had just experienced the end-of-magic era of the Mutant, and now he had come to the end-of-magic era of the superheroes.
"What! The superheroes are all dead! Then what about my little Spider-Man!?" Wade had approached the two at some point.
"You're not dead?"
Old Hawkeye was bewildered.
He thought Darian had slaughtered his own companion; he hadn't expected Wade to still be so lively.
"It was just my head getting blown off; this kind of minor injury heals after a little rest." Wade waved his hand nonchalantly.
This ability, this idiot style, and this voice...
"Deadpool?" Old Hawkeye asked tentatively.
Wade immediately put his hands on his hips and nodded proudly: "That's right, I am the lovable, shameless Wade, the great man with tens of billions of fans worldwide. Do you want an autograph or a photo together?"
Old Hawkeye was shocked: "I remember you only had a head left, locked in a jar as an exhibit. How could you appear here?"
Who had such a heavy taste as to actually treat Wade as an exhibit?
Darian saw this and spoke frankly: "You might not believe it if I say it, but we are actually not natives of this World. We come from another parallel Universe and just arrived in this World not long ago."
"Are you serious? Parallel Universe? Time travel?"
Old Hawkeye looked absurd, as if he had heard a tall tale.
Darian nodded: "Of course, in my World, we are all members of the team that kicked the Fury alliance."
What the hell is this name?
Old Hawkeye couldn't bring himself to retort, remaining half-skeptical of Darian's words; after all, traveling between Worlds and such was just too outrageous.
He simply followed Darian's lead and asked: "Then what is your purpose for coming to this World?"
Darian did not hide anything: "We are searching for and recruiting some Mutants with self-healing abilities to join the team we are forming. By the way, do you know anyone who fits this criteria? If you provide accurate intelligence, there are rewards."
"Mutants with self-healing abilities?"
Old Hawkeye hesitated for a few seconds and slowly said: "I do know such a person."
Darian's eyes lit up: "Who?"
"Wolverine, Logan."
Wolverine again.
Darian felt speechless.
Why was Wolverine always among the self-healing ability users in every World? He already had three Wolverine variants in his team now. If this kept up, he'd probably have to change his team name to the Wolverine alliance.
Wolverine it is, then. Better than nothing.
Darian suppressed the urge to retort and followed up: "Do you know his whereabouts?"
"I do. He came over here with me, and he's just a few hundred meters away now."
Old Hawkeye made up his mind. As long as he found Logan, he could join forces with him to defeat these two guys.
Even if they couldn't win, at least they could escape.
Darian nodded: "Good, take us there."
Led by Old Hawkeye, Darian and Wade arrived at an open space.
Before they even got close, they saw a dozen or so Ghost Fire youths beating up an elderly man.
It was real Ghost Fire—the motorcycle wheels were emitting orange-red flames, illuminating the surroundings so brightly that even the Molodis didn't dare to show their heads.
And the old man they were beating up was not an ordinary person; he was exactly the Wolverine Darian was looking for.

Wiped out the X-Men?
Darian's expression was strange.
It wasn't that he looked down on Logan, but with Logan's strength, unless he was cheating, how could he take on so many people from the X-Men?
Not to mention anything else, just the evil bald head could instantly turn him into a three-year-old little girl looking for milk everywhere.
At this moment, Wolverine was being beaten frantically by the Ghost Fire youths. Weapons were constantly striking his head, blood splashing everywhere.
But strangely, Wolverine remained lying on the ground, unwilling to fight back.
"What a piece of trash!"
A Ghost Fire youth laughed disdainfully, raising a mace to give Wolverine a hard hit.
Bang!
This Ghost Fire youth's head instantly split open, and he smiled as he went to the afterlife.
Darian walked over slowly: "Logan, why do you end up so miserable in every Universe?"
