[Day: ???]
I'm Faust Fânir. The Man of Hatred. Yet it doesn't matter at all. I don't want to die, there's things I want to do. I have to do, yet stil...
I'm breaking down. Slowly. Pain and Agony. When will death take me to itself?

[Day: 0]
[Time: 11:07]
Knock Knock—Knock Knock!
From behind the room's door, an angry voice was yelling.
"Open the door, Faust!"
Knock Knock— Knock Knock!
Someone was knocking on his door, it had to be midnight by now...what could be the problem. Bandits, thieves, or anything else out to cause harm? If it wasn't life or death, it wasn't worth him getting out of bed for according to Faust...
He give it a thought for a second with a sleepy mind of his. He was in his home, Corehold, the one knocking had to be one of The Brothers...
Among a the many things that he hates. Getting woken up is one of them
Fuck this.
A splinter-filled bed, barely holding together...
as if it just wants to be thrown away.
Faust hauled himself out of his bed, his legs dangling off the edge because it was way too small for him.
He strode heavily over the creaking, worn floorboards of his room, passed by the walls that looked as if they were leaking water, and walked toward the rotten wooden door.
His steps made the floor creak like crazy, the wood bending under every move. The bed groaned whenever he got in or out too, but Faust couldn't blame the bed or the floorboards;
One of the reasons the bed was in such a state was his height and build.
He was about 6'10", a literal titan compared to other man his age he straight-up looked like a giant that had a more humanly look than usual .
Of course, being this massive had its downsides. Even grabbing the doorknob, he had to duck his head a bit...
Creeeak.....
Faust opened the door. There stood Klint, the man who handled all the responsibility and organization things. A man who can think wisely... most of the times at least.
[Klint Fânir]
[Sovereignty: ???]
[Age`: 20]
[Height: 6'2]
From the outside, seeing the two of them standing face to face was a sight rarely encountered in ordinary daily life.
Klint had his hair combed neat, dressed in a sharp black tie, crisp white shirt, black jeans, and socks standing right there at the door.
On the other hand, Faust... Buck naked up top, black hair all messed up and falling in his face, nothing on below either... except boxers, obviously. Without those, it'd be real bad no doubts, for Klint of course.
"Faust...."
Klint had started into Faust's eyes for a time like he was trying to show his anger... that Faust didn't even know the reason of
Yet Faust couldn't understand what Klint was trying to do with the not so "badass actions" because he didn't have some common sense at the point. Could he be blamed? It was middle of the night, whatever Klint was going to say could be reflected aganist him by the simple word commbinations of "I were in the middle of a dream"
"Hm. Yeah, Klint.....what the hell do you want in the middle of the night?"
Klint kept his seriousness while talking back.
"What do I want? Hmm, let me think.....an unpaid debt in Winter City? Ring any bells?"
"Huh? Eh? Uh. Maybe I can't probably remember 'cause you showed up outta nowhere, banging on my door at midnight, talking about some place I haven't heard of in months....it is just a guess tho..."
"Think a little harder then."
The way they talked felt almost like a joke to both of them, yet they both couldn't laugh... or wouldn't laugh because one side felt like he was looking kinda "badass".
Faust looked far from serious, not because he was in a good mood or something. He just couldn't show any emotions because of the sleppy mind that he had at the moment...
The bags under his eyes were swollen from lack of sleep, his pupils had shrunk, and the veins around his eyes stood out. Klint, on the other hand, looked as if it wasn't the middle of the night at all, standing there in his usual, ever-prepared state.
The room didn't even have a light. Not any kind. It was just the bit of moonlight coming through the open windows.
Faust put his hand on his chin and talked back looking calmy~ but it wasn't so hard to see that he was also mad because of all this.
"Hmm. Would you please get away from my door now?!"
He gripped the doorknob tight and swung it shut, but in a split second, Klint jammed his hand in to stop it.
Come on! You serious right now?
After the 10 seconds of nothing, Faust let out a long sigh and poked his head out through the crack, looking all drained and fed up.
Huff...
"What!?"
"I don't give a damn how sleepy you are...."
"Tomorrow-...."
"Morning-...."
"You're heading to that city and paying off the fucking debt!!"
Faust scrunched his face up even more, like some spoiled kid who never does his chores.
"Fine fine, just go already will ya? "
Klint didn't look totally convinced, but he knew that Faust would do what he had to do and handle it, even if he hated it. He pulled his hand back, and right after, Faust slammed the door and jumped back into bed....
Creeeak...
Klint was gone from the door now.
He could tell by the angry footsteps stomping away.
Hah. Got business in Winter City... like there ain't nobody else they could send, but whatever, I got no other choice I suppose..
Faust was justified in thinking that way; there were so many people in Corehold who could go on this mission. The fact that he was the one chosen felt like an obvious prank to him. He tied all of this to another possibility he considered very likely: he was sure Klint would say something else afterward, because everyone knew he was a walking natural disaster.
Maybe not all knew him but atleast the ones that knew. They knew what he was.
He figured that unless there was an important situation requiring sheer force and power, a man like Klint, who wouldn't bother with pointless tasks, wouldn't put himself into something like this.
Someone liking to fight didn't mean that he always had to fight.
Faust started talking to himself in anger for a few minutes and then ended the self-talk with a calm tone.
Huff...
"Tomorrow's gonna be a real busy one."
Yet, it wasn't going to turn out as he expected…
