Arc 1 Chapter 11
Albert: we're in deep shit with the mayor!
Alex: why's that?
Sion: look around you we almost completely destroyed this district.
Alex: but we evacuated the people and I'm sure Albert can repay the damages.
Albert: it's not about the money or the safety of the people now...but in the future.
Alex: I see well.
An enforcer ran to Albert to deliver an important message which seemed to be very urgent, but Albert already knew what it was for and he was ready to face the consequences of the matter. He looked at Alex and Sion and then sighed.
Albert: what is it?
Enforcer: it's from the mayor and he wants to see you right now including Alex Ember and Sion Grey!
Albert: (sigh) I knew it was gonna come to this.
Lucia: you've known the mayor for years right? I'm sure it's not gonna be heavy... Right?
Albert: I don't think so Lucy. Alright Sion and Alex you're coming with me.
While Albert was heading to the direction of the mayor's office with the enforcer he came across his butler and nodded to him and the butler nodded back, Alex and Sion were confused by this exchange but brushed it of as soon they were gonna find out anyways. Now to Lucia and Rachel who were just standing there when the boys got called upon.
Lucia: soo...i heard some spicy news(cheeky smile)
Rachel: not now (annoyed)
Lucia: what? You know I'd be interested when I suddenly hear that miss picky wicky has somebody she likes.
Rachel: if you had my ability, it would be hard to find someone for you too.
Lucia: well I guess but I'm happy for you.
Rachel: thanks
Lucia: but you gotta know something though
Rachel: it's about the harem thing right? Albert already told me.
Lucia: wow you guys had a lot of free time during the battle, anyways you're cool with it?
Rachel: yeah kinda, I mean I've been looking for someone like him for a long time and even though it's like that... I have a feeling that he'll make me happy, he looks like the type who'll try to make everyone happy and if it's that I'll like be the first in his harem and precise it's not strange for royalty to have many wives.
Lucia: wow you're totally in huh?
Rachel: in this cruel world, someone with a shining heart like his comes once in 200 years there's no way I'm passing this chance.
Lucia: yeah I kinda guess what you mean.
Rachel: speaking of romance, what of you and Rose? You wouldn't stop talking about her in your letters
Lucia: uh... Well hear this.
While the girls were having a pillow talk at the now destroyed east district, Albert and company finally made it to the mayor's office and a kind looking old man was sitting at the chair on the table filled with paper work and other stuff, he waited for Alex and Sion to sit at the extra chairs and looked straight into Albert's eyes.
Albert: what's up mayor Bill. (with a forced smile)
Bill: you have two weeks and a half to get out of Markini.
Albert: wow Bill c'mon you know me, why didn't you greet me back?
Bill: you used my authority to damage control your own mess and dragged one of my most high ranking and capable officer to a dangerous battle field and finally what you did to the east district, the place is a bloody ruin now, and you two boys participated in the battle so you're charged as well so you'll be given the same penalty as him and since you're not adventurers it makes it worse.
Albert: well I saw this coming but two weeks and a half? Aren't we suppose to leave immediately?
Bill: don't act dumb with me, you know you sent that butler to convince me to buy you time to go around the village with those boys and register them to the adventurer's guild.
Albert: yeah you got me.
Sion: so that was the thing with the butler huh?
Alex: two weeks and a half? Yeah that works for me.
Bill: then I shall read the statement as the mayor to seal the deal. Albert Rhodes, Alex Ember, Sion Grey, Ronax Mill and Drogo Ducher are here by penalized by the mayor of Markini, Albert Rhodes, Alex Ember and Sion Grey are banned from Markini for 5 years and are to leave within two weeks and three days while Ronax Mill and Drogo Ducher are banned forever for attempting kidnap of Lucia Rhodes and destruction of the east district. With Albert Rhodes stripped of his residency In Markini, all his financials, mansion, staff, law rights of territory and position in Markini, they hereby all belongs to Lucia Rhodes, do you have objections to this? So that they can belong to the the government?
Sion: no way! We know we were responsible for some of the destruction of the east district, but this is too much!
Albert: I accept!
Sion: wait what?!
Alex: Albert?!
Albert:...
Bill: then sign this document to give it all to your only daughter by law Lucia Rhodes.
Albert took the document and signed it accepting all conditions at it be trasn to Lucia for five years and Alex and Sion just stood there watching it all happen and when he was done he nodded at the mayor and got up from his chair in front of the mayor and went for the door.
Albert: c'mon guys we got 2 weeks to enjoy this village while we're at it.
Alex and Sion gave up and nodded.
Alex and Sion: yeah!
When Alex and Sion were finally gone, the mayor called out to Albert.
Bill: hey Albert... Thank you for everything (with a smile).
Albert: mhm sure, anytime old man.
Albert and the boys finally left the mayor's building and went straight home to get some sleep because it was still night time and they were tired as hell after everything that happened in that same night, while they were walking back home Albert and Sion were all over Alex.
Albert: hey remember that enforcer girl from earlier? Guess what she has the hots for you man and I told Lucia to bring her over so that you two can talk tomorrow after you rest.
Sion: that's some cool work there Albert.
Albert: what can I say? Gotta help my Boyz with their dreams! Just don't fap to much though
Alex: geez!
Albert: but you good with her though?
Alex: dude she's super strong and stronger than me, she's beautiful and she's in the game for justice? Yeah she sounds like a cool woman to me so I'm totally in!
Albert: that's my boy, anyways she has judgement eyes though so I'll warn you now lying to her is impossible especially if you're weaker than her and in your case it's totally like that.
Alex: I'm not planning on lying to her or anything and I'm gonna be honest with her about the harem thing from the start.
Sion: yeah I agree and if she doesn't flow with it then it's her loss.
Alex: I don't think I'm that much of a good guy.
Albert and Sion:.... Okay.
Albert: well you got two weeks to impress her since she'll be staying with Lucy until then.
Alex: for real! Awesome, I can't wait to show her my good side. (feeling cocky)
Albert: I don't think you really need to but you go get her champ!
And finally they make it back at the mansion but Alex was frozen in place when it was time to talk to her face to face.
Lucia: welcome back guys! The food that the maids made for you got cold, where were you?
Rachel: yeah we've been waiting for so long.
Alex finally snapped out of it and reclaimed his former self before it was completely lost.
Alex: ahh yeah sorry about that but we'll make it up to you.
Rachel: ah no it's okay we just waited a little that's all...
Albert: Okay me and Sion are gonna grab our dinner real quick and talk about some stuff at the library. OK cool see yah!
Sion: ah okay (whispering) hey Albert can i...
Albert: (whispering) yeah Alex told me about it so you can do one of the maids if they agree.
Sion: (whispering) yeah I never force it.
Albert and Sion left the room in a hurry and Lucia joined them leaving Alex and Rachel alone at the living room.
Alex: soo... I uh... Well... (damn!)
Rachel: (giggle) yeah you probably heard from Albert soo I'd like to go out with you! And be the first of your selfish little dream(wink).
Alex: whaa?
