Dorian's POV
My jaw clenched as I sat there watching.
Part of me wanted to jump out of the car and face Agatha head-on, but another part was intrigued... and burning with jealousy.
The jealous part won.
I exhaled heavily, my eyes fixed on the small children running across the field while their mother's laughter echoed behind them.
Theo Brooks said something, but the distance made it impossible to hear. I watched the kids pivot toward him.
My chest constricted. Theo Brooks didn't just have money—he had a real family. For the first time in my life, I found myself longing for that kind of connection.
"Let's get out of here..." My voice broke as Axel fired up the engine.
As we drove away, I caught sight of Agatha embracing Theo.
Fury blazed through me.
"That backstabbing traitor..." I growled, my hands balling into fists.
Agatha knew exactly who Theo was. Their easy interaction proved she'd been around them plenty. She'd always backed Bennett too.
